From Rs.2,999, our team delivers GST Health Check for shops, service providers and manufacturers across Egattur. Local jurisdiction knowledge, deadline tracking and honest, upfront fees — the way GST compliance in Chennai should actually work.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Businesses in Egattur looking for GST Health Check want two things: work done correctly and someone answerable when questions come. Egattur sits on Rajiv Gandhi Salai near Chennai Marina Mall and the Hiranandani township off Buckingham Boulevard, while Thalambur Main Road and Natham - Egattur Road carry IT support units, retail showrooms, restaurants, gyms, builders and villa rental operators. Mall tenants billed for common area maintenance, retail chains handling e-commerce TCS and SIPCOT-adjacent contractors all need close GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B alignment. We serve this belt — including Navalur and Thalambur — with fixed fees quoted upfront, a written document checklist, and filings completed ahead of statutory due dates. Every acknowledgement is shared the day it is generated, and our support continues if the department raises any query on work we have filed.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
GST is confusing enough without a language barrier. Our team explains notices, tax positions and filing requirements in plain Tamil or English, whichever you and your staff in Egattur are comfortable with, and keeps written communication simple and jargon-free.
Winding up attracts its own GST obligations — the cancellation application, reversal of credit on closing stock, and the final return in GSTR-10 within three months. We close registrations properly so a business you shut in Egattur never writes back to you as a demand years later.
We are a Chennai firm with a physical office, not a faceless portal. If you prefer to sit across a table with your papers, you are welcome. Clients from Egattur regularly visit us for registrations, notice discussions and annual return reviews.
Most GST notices trace back to mismatches between GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B. We reconcile these before filing, not after a notice arrives, so your returns are internally consistent and the most common triggers for ASMT-10 scrutiny simply never appear.
GSTR-1 requires four-digit HSN reporting for turnover up to Rs.5 crore and six digits above it, and a wrong code often means a wrong rate. We verify the classification of what you actually supply, so your invoices and returns rest on defensible codes.
The annual return and, where turnover crosses Rs.5 crore, the self-certified reconciliation statement in GSTR-9C are prepared by the same team that filed your monthly returns. Nothing about your year has to be rediscovered or explained to a stranger in December.
We agree the review period, collect returns, registers and financial data, and take read access to your portal account for ledger and notice checks.
All returns are tested against each other and against book turnover, surfacing the same mismatches that departmental analytics would flag in scrutiny.
Credit claimed is verified against GSTR-2B and screened for blocked categories, while expense ledgers are examined for reverse charge liabilities not discharged.
Each gap is documented with the periods affected and the tax, interest and penalty exposure quantified, then risk-ranked from critical to advisory.
You receive the written report in a review meeting, with a practical correction plan covering future-return amendments, DRC-03 payments and supplier actions.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: 3-5 working days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
You know your expected GST outflow days before the 20th, not on the night of filing. That advance visibility lets you plan payments, collections and bank balances instead of scrambling for funds at the deadline.
New branches, new product lines and interstate sales all carry GST consequences. With standing professional support, you expand knowing registrations, invoicing and returns will keep pace with the business.
With the LUT filed at the start of each financial year and refund claims tracked to credit, exporters supply without blocking funds in IGST and recover accumulated credit on schedule.
Loan applications and government tenders routinely demand GST returns and registration documents. With everything filed and archived properly, you can produce a complete compliance file within hours instead of days.
E-commerce platforms continuously validate seller GSTINs and filing status. A consistently compliant registration keeps your listings active and settlements flowing, with no sudden suspension of your online sales channel.
When a business winds up, proper cancellation and a timely final return ensure the file is genuinely closed, so no demand or late-fee computation resurfaces against you long after the shutters came down.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
| Portal credentials and data | Logins handled by a small engaged team under strict confidentiality, with credentials stored securely and never passed onward. | Passwords circulating on chats with freelancers and part-timers, and no accountability for who has accessed your business data. |
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| Registration and amendments | Query-resistant applications prepared correctly the first time, with supporting documents matched to what proper officers actually verify. | Repeated clarification memos and resubmissions, with weeks lost because a rent agreement or premises photograph did not meet expectations. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
A working knowledge of recent instruments and judgments is what separates a defensible filing from a risky one.
GSTN Advisory, 2023 — e-invoice enablement status and self-enablement on einvoice.gst.gov.in · 2023
GSTN clarified that the enablement status shown on the e-invoice portal is only a system facility and does not decide whether a taxpayer is legally required to issue e-invoices. A taxpayer whose aggregate turnover crossed the prescribed limit in any financial year from 2017-18 onwards must issue e-invoices for business-to-business supplies and for exports, and where the portal does not already show the GSTIN as enabled, the taxpayer can self-enable on the portal. Notified exempt classes such as banks, insurers and passenger transport operators remain outside the requirement.
Why this matters: Test turnover for every year since 2017-18 against the e-invoice threshold and self-enable, because not being enabled on the portal is no defence in an audit.
Notification No. 10/2025-Central Tax (Rate), dated 17 September 2025 · 2025-09-17
Superseding the 2017 exemption notification, this list re-notifies all nil-rated goods with effect from 22 September 2025 and widens it significantly. Ultra-high temperature milk became exempt, chena and paneer became exempt whether or not pre-packaged and labelled, and all Indian breads including roti, chapathi, paratha, parotta, khakhra and pizza bread were exempted by name. Pencils, crayons, sharpeners, slates, maps, globes and exercise books were also brought to nil.
How we apply it: Dairy shops and bakeries in Chennai now bill paneer and parotta at nil, but must remember that exempt turnover blocks the corresponding input tax credit.
Dwarikesh Sugar Industries Ltd — AAR Uttar Pradesh, Order No. 52, dated 22 January 2020; position changed by Section 17(5)(fa) of the CGST Act, inserted by the Finance Act, 2023 and effective from 1 October 2023 (Notification No. 28/2023-Central Tax, dated 31 July 2023) · 2020-01-22
The Uttar Pradesh Authority for Advance Ruling held that expenditure incurred to discharge corporate social responsibility obligations under Section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013 is incurred in the course or furtherance of business, so input tax credit on such goods and services was available. Parliament reversed this position by inserting clause (fa) in Section 17(5) of the CGST Act through the Finance Act, 2023, which blocks credit on goods or services used for CSR activities with effect from 1 October 2023.
What to do about it: Credit on CSR spending is available only for periods before 1 October 2023; reverse or avoid such credit for later periods to prevent interest and penalty.
