Whether you are a first-time registrant or an established trader, New GST Registration in Kodungaiyur deserves a specialist rather than a side job. From Rs.1,499, our GST-focused Chennai practice runs the entire process on written checklists and senior-reviewed submissions.
We serve businesses on and around 64th Street — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Kodungaiyur spreads north from Erukkancheri High Road across the MMDA blocks, Muthamizh Nagar, Ezhil Nagar and Kaviarasu Kannadasan Nagar, with plastic and paper recycling units clustered around the Kodungaiyur dumping ground, small engineering workshops, hardware dealers and provision stores along Kodungaiyur Main Road and the Milk Colony approach. Scrap bought from unregistered vendors, reverse charge liability and e-way bills on waste consignments trigger most notices. When businesses of this kind evaluate New GST Registration, the real question is not price alone but who answers when something goes wrong. We serve Kodungaiyur, Erukkanchery and Moolakadai on a standing commitment: responses within the same working day, senior scrutiny before every submission, and continued support if the department ever writes back on work carrying our preparation.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
Whenever the GST Council notifies a late-fee waiver or an amnesty window for pending returns or old demands, we check every client's history against it and act within the deadline. Relief that businesses in Kodungaiyur would otherwise read about after it lapsed reaches our clients in time.
New GSTIN applications, core field amendments through REG-14, additional places of business — we prepare complete, query-resistant applications the first time. Clean paperwork is the difference between smooth approval and weeks lost answering clarification memos from the department.
The annual return and, where turnover crosses Rs.5 crore, the self-certified reconciliation statement in GSTR-9C are prepared by the same team that filed your monthly returns. Nothing about your year has to be rediscovered or explained to a stranger in December.
Composition dealers have their own rulebook — CMP-08 every quarter, GSTR-4 annually by 30 June, bills of supply instead of tax invoices, and a turnover ceiling that must be watched. We handle each of these correctly so the scheme's simplicity never turns into a violation.
You receive a WhatsApp message when documents are received, when the draft is ready for your approval, and when the return or application is filed, along with the acknowledgement. You never have to call and ask what is happening with your file.
GST is confusing enough without a language barrier. Our team explains notices, tax positions and filing requirements in plain Tamil or English, whichever you and your staff in Kodungaiyur are comfortable with, and keeps written communication simple and jargon-free.
You share PAN, Aadhaar, photographs, address proof and bank details over WhatsApp or email. We review each document against portal requirements and flag anything that could trigger an officer query.
We draft Form GST REG-01 with the correct business constitution, principal place of business, HSN or SAC codes and authorised signatory details, then share a summary for your confirmation.
The application is filed on the GST portal and we guide the authorised signatory through Aadhaar OTP authentication, which speeds up approval and usually avoids physical verification of premises.
We track the ARN daily. If the officer issues a notice in Form REG-03 seeking clarification, we draft and file the reply in Form REG-04 within the permitted time.
Once approved, we download your registration certificate in Form REG-06, help set up portal login credentials, and brief you on invoice format, return due dates and e-way bill obligations.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: 3-7 working days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Consistent, reconciled returns give the department's matching systems nothing to flag. Clients who move to us after years of self-filing typically see scrutiny queries and mismatch notices fall away within a few filing cycles.
Large buyers check vendor GST compliance before releasing payments and renewing contracts. A clean filing record with timely GSTR-1 uploads keeps your invoices reflecting in their GSTR-2B and your payments unblocked.
We spot suppliers who stop uploading invoices or filing returns and alert you before their default becomes your blocked credit, letting you recover amounts or switch vendors while the exposure is still small.
Illness, travel or a family function no longer threatens a deadline. With a standing external process holding your calendar and data trail, filings proceed on schedule whether or not you are at your desk.
Interest on delayed GST payment runs at 18 percent per annum, which is costlier than most working capital finance. Timely computation and payment through our calendar keeps that meter permanently at zero.
Your billing staff are guided on invoice fields, rates and series discipline, so mistakes are prevented where they originate — at the counter — instead of being repaired later in the returns.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Registration and amendments | Query-resistant applications prepared correctly the first time, with supporting documents matched to what proper officers actually verify. | Repeated clarification memos and resubmissions, with weeks lost because a rent agreement or premises photograph did not meet expectations. |
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
| Refund claims | RFD-01 filed with complete statements and annexures, tracked from ARN to bank credit, with any deficiency memo answered promptly. | Incomplete claims bounce back as deficiency memos while the refund sits unclaimed for months and working capital stays blocked. |
64th Street is a residential street in Kodungaiyur, about 300 m west of the centre of Kodungaiyur. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — 67th Street (about 100 m); 39th street (about 100 m); South Avenue (about 200 m); North Avenue (about 200 m) — so a site visit on 64th Street can usually be combined with other work in Kodungaiyur on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on 64th Street falls under the Chennai North CGST Commissionerate, and the Kodungaiyur pincode is 600118.
Road classification and position from OpenStreetMap; distances are straight-line and approximate. Jurisdiction must be confirmed on your own registration certificate.
A working knowledge of recent instruments and judgments is what separates a defensible filing from a risky one.
GSTN Advisory dated 1 November 2025 — simplified registration scheme under Rule 14A · 2025-11-01
GSTN operationalised the optional simplified registration scheme under Rule 14A of the CGST Rules from 1 November 2025. Applicants whose self-assessed output tax liability, across CGST, SGST, IGST and cess, does not exceed Rs 2.5 lakh per month can opt in while filing REG-01 and receive registration within three working days, subject to mandatory Aadhaar authentication of the primary authorised signatory and at least one promoter or partner.
Practical effect: Small Chennai businesses starting out can opt for Rule 14A registration to begin billing within days instead of waiting through full verification.
M/s. Prime Gold International Ltd v. Additional Director General — Madras High Court, W.P. No. 8203 of 2022, decided 2 August 2023 (C. Saravanan J.) · 2023-08-02
The petitioner challenged a provisional attachment of its bank account. By the time the matter was heard, one year had elapsed from the date of the order. The Court observed that orders of attachment under Section 83 are self-limiting and remain in force for one year only, after which nothing survives for adjudication. The writ petition was accordingly closed, the attachment having ceased to operate by force of the statute itself.
How we apply it: A Chennai business should diarise the date of any Section 83 attachment — after twelve months the bank must release the account, and a fresh order is required if the department wants to continue.
Notification No. 38/2021-Central Tax · 2021-12-21
The Aadhaar authentication requirements inserted earlier by the Eighth Amendment Rules had been left to take effect from a date to be notified. This notification appointed 1 January 2022 as that date, so that from the beginning of 2022 a refund application, a revocation application and an integrated tax refund on exports all became conditional on completed Aadhaar authentication and on a PAN-linked bank account. Applications filed without these steps are simply not processed on the portal.
Why this matters: From January 2022 onwards Aadhaar authentication is a gating requirement, so it should be completed at the registration stage rather than when a refund is urgently needed.
