Most of it happens without you leaving your shop counter. Share your documents on WhatsApp, approve the prepared draft, and your New GST Registration is completed on the portal from Rs.1,499 — by a Chennai team that businesses across Triplicane have relied on for years.
We serve businesses on and around Vallabha Agraharam Street — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Triplicane's economy is built on lodges and mansions, mess kitchens, book and stationery dealers and garment shops along Triplicane High Road and Wallajah Road near Parthasarathy Temple. Budget lodges must apply the correct GST slab on room tariffs, and family-run eateries crossing the Rs.20 lakh services or Rs.40 lakh goods threshold often discover registration obligations only after a notice. Against that backdrop, New GST Registration in Triplicane demands more than data entry — it needs reconciliation before filing, correct classification and awareness of what local officers examine. Our Chennai team provides exactly that to clients in Triplicane, Chepauk and Ice House, with same-day responses on working days and WhatsApp updates at every stage. Most routine engagements complete within one to two working days once documents are in hand.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
Every new client receives a review of their recent returns before we file anything — unclaimed credit, GSTR-1 versus GSTR-3B drift, and exposures worth correcting quietly. Businesses in Triplicane often discover in this first review exactly why their previous arrangement was costing them money.
Send your query on call or WhatsApp and you hear back the same working day, usually within a few hours. When a due date is close or a notice has landed, waiting two days for a reply is simply not acceptable, and we know it.
Tally, Zoho Books, Busy, marketplace reports, plain Excel or even a handwritten bill book — we take your data in whatever form your Triplicane business already maintains it. You are never forced to buy new software or retrain staff just to become our client.
E-invoicing is mandatory once turnover crosses Rs.5 crore and e-way bills apply to goods movements above Rs.50,000. We set up, train and troubleshoot both systems, so your despatches from Triplicane are never held up by a compliance gap at the gate.
Traders, manufacturers, contractors, e-commerce sellers, professionals and service exporters — we have handled GST for all of them. Whatever mix of goods and services your Triplicane business supplies, the rate, classification and place-of-supply questions have almost certainly crossed our desk before.
No filing leaves our desk on a junior's judgement alone. A senior GST practitioner reviews your figures, ITC claims and tax computation before submission, so errors are caught at our table and not by the department months later through a notice.
You share PAN, Aadhaar, photographs, address proof and bank details over WhatsApp or email. We review each document against portal requirements and flag anything that could trigger an officer query.
We draft Form GST REG-01 with the correct business constitution, principal place of business, HSN or SAC codes and authorised signatory details, then share a summary for your confirmation.
The application is filed on the GST portal and we guide the authorised signatory through Aadhaar OTP authentication, which speeds up approval and usually avoids physical verification of premises.
We track the ARN daily. If the officer issues a notice in Form REG-03 seeking clarification, we draft and file the reply in Form REG-04 within the permitted time.
Once approved, we download your registration certificate in Form REG-06, help set up portal login credentials, and brief you on invoice format, return due dates and e-way bill obligations.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: 3-7 working days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Sales returns, discounts and price revisions are adjusted through properly reported credit notes within the statutory window, so you never keep paying tax on turnover you have already reversed.
Large buyers check vendor GST compliance before releasing payments and renewing contracts. A clean filing record with timely GSTR-1 uploads keeps your invoices reflecting in their GSTR-2B and your payments unblocked.
Amounts deducted by government buyers as GST TDS and by marketplaces as TCS are accepted on the portal each period, so money withheld against your GSTIN actually reaches your cash ledger instead of lying unclaimed.
With the LUT filed at the start of each financial year and refund claims tracked to credit, exporters supply without blocking funds in IGST and recover accumulated credit on schedule.
Filed returns, challans, reconciliations and working papers are archived in order from day one. If an audit or departmental verification comes, your file is ready the same week, not assembled in a panic.
You know your expected GST outflow days before the 20th, not on the night of filing. That advance visibility lets you plan payments, collections and bank balances instead of scrambling for funds at the deadline.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
| Portal credentials and data | Logins handled by a small engaged team under strict confidentiality, with credentials stored securely and never passed onward. | Passwords circulating on chats with freelancers and part-timers, and no accountability for who has accessed your business data. |
| Refund claims | RFD-01 filed with complete statements and annexures, tracked from ARN to bank credit, with any deficiency memo answered promptly. | Incomplete claims bounce back as deficiency memos while the refund sits unclaimed for months and working capital stays blocked. |
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |

4th GST Council Meeting, New Delhi — 3-4 November 2016 (Signed Minutes, Agenda Item 3) · 2016-11-03
Summing up a long debate over five-band and six-band options, the Chairperson proposed and the Council accepted a structure with one exempt category covering food grains and similar essentials, a lower rate of five per cent for goods consumed by vulnerable sections, standard rates of 12 and 18 per cent, and a higher slab of 28 per cent. A committee of officers was directed to fit individual goods and services into those slabs. Proposals for a 40 per cent slab were rejected.
What to do about it: Every rate dispute a Chennai business faces today traces back to this four-slab architecture and to the fitment exercise it launched.
Circular No. 236/30/2024-GST · 2024-10-11
CBIC explained the scope of the phrase 'regularised on as is where is basis' used when the Council settles a disputed rate or classification. Where taxpayers paid at the lower of two competing rates or claimed an exemption in good faith, the past position is accepted as full discharge and no differential demand arises. However, no refund is available to anyone who paid at the higher rate or did not claim the exemption, and the circular works through illustrations showing exactly which past positions stand closed.
Why this matters: Read any rate clarification circular alongside its regularisation paragraph, because that paragraph often extinguishes the entire exposure for earlier years.
Taghar Vasudeva Ambrish v. Appellate Authority for Advance Ruling, Karnataka, W.P. No. 14891 of 2020, Karnataka High Court, judgment dated 7 February 2022, affirmed in State of Karnataka v. Taghar Vasudeva Ambrish, Civil Appeal Nos. 7846-7847 of 2023, 2025 INSC 1380, judgment dated 4 December 2025 · 2022-02-07
Co-owners had let a residential building to a company that ran it as a hostel for students and working professionals. The advance ruling authorities denied exemption on the view that the lessee was using the property commercially. The High Court disagreed and held that leasing residential premises used as a hostel falls within Entry 13 of the IGST services exemption notification, since that entry does not require the lessee itself to occupy the premises as a residence. The Supreme Court dismissed the State's appeals on 4 December 2025 and confirmed that the end use as a residence, not the intermediate commercial layer, decides the question.
What it means for you: Chennai property owners letting buildings to hostel operators now have Supreme Court backing for periods before 18 July 2022, though later periods must also account for the registered-tenant reverse charge.
