Most of it happens without you leaving your shop counter. Share your documents on WhatsApp, approve the prepared draft, and your GST Refund RFD-01 is completed on the portal from Rs.4,999 — by a Chennai team that businesses across Ashok Nagar have relied on for years.
We serve businesses on and around 18th Avenue — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Ashok Nagar's 10th Avenue is one of west Chennai's busiest shopping strips, with garment retailers, jewellers, electronics stores and bakeries radiating from Ashok Pillar along the numbered avenues. Most businesses are B2C retailers weighing the composition scheme against regular filing; the Rs.1.5 crore composition limit, quarterly CMP-08 payments and the annual GSTR-4 due 30 June recur in every consultation. For businesses here, staying on the right side of GST is not optional — buyers check compliance, and the department's systems match every return. Our firm provides GST Refund RFD-01 to clients across Ashok Nagar and neighbouring KK Nagar and West Mambalam, combining Chennai jurisdiction familiarity with disciplined deadline tracking. Whether you run a shop, a service practice or a growing trading concern, we handle the portal work so you can stay focused on the business itself.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
You receive a WhatsApp message when documents are received, when the draft is ready for your approval, and when the return or application is filed, along with the acknowledgement. You never have to call and ask what is happening with your file.
Composition dealers have their own rulebook — CMP-08 every quarter, GSTR-4 annually by 30 June, bills of supply instead of tax invoices, and a turnover ceiling that must be watched. We handle each of these correctly so the scheme's simplicity never turns into a violation.
You are told the full fee before we begin, in writing. No surprise additions for uploads, revisions or acknowledgements. Government fees and taxes, where applicable, are shown separately, so businesses in Ashok Nagar always know exactly what the engagement costs them.
Most GST notices trace back to mismatches between GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B. We reconcile these before filing, not after a notice arrives, so your returns are internally consistent and the most common triggers for ASMT-10 scrutiny simply never appear.
Every new client receives a review of their recent returns before we file anything — unclaimed credit, GSTR-1 versus GSTR-3B drift, and exposures worth correcting quietly. Businesses in Ashok Nagar often discover in this first review exactly why their previous arrangement was costing them money.
We are a Chennai firm with a physical office, not a faceless portal. If you prefer to sit across a table with your papers, you are welcome. Clients from Ashok Nagar regularly visit us for registrations, notice discussions and annual return reviews.
We identify the correct refund category, confirm the two-year limitation from the relevant date, and compute the admissible amount using the formula prescribed under the rules.
Invoices, shipping bills, FIRCs, the LUT and ledger extracts are compiled into the prescribed statements, and gaps that commonly cause deficiency memos are fixed upfront.
The refund application is filed on the portal with all annexures and declarations, and the acknowledgement in RFD-02 is tracked within the statutory fifteen days.
We respond to any deficiency memo in RFD-03 or show cause notice in RFD-08, appear through written submissions, and pursue provisional refund where the category permits.
We track the sanction order in RFD-06 and payment advice in RFD-05, confirm the credit in your validated bank account, and archive the complete claim file.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Application filed in 3-5 working days; sanction typically within 60 days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Advances received for services attract GST on receipt while advances for goods generally do not; applying this distinction correctly means you neither prepay tax unnecessarily nor omit a liability that surfaces later with interest.
Correct e-way bills matched to correct invoices mean your consignments clear roadside inspections cleanly, avoiding detention proceedings whose penalties can far exceed the tax on the goods being carried.
Excess balances parked in the electronic cash ledger are identified during regular ledger reviews and either utilised against upcoming liability or claimed back as a refund, instead of sitting interest-free with the government.
Where a genuine error is found in a past period, voluntary payment through DRC-03 before any notice issues closes the matter at minimal cost, instead of letting it ripen into a demand with penalty.
Your scheme choice — regular, composition or QRMP — is re-examined as turnover and margins change, so you are always paying under the structure that legitimately costs your business the least.
Funding rounds, partnerships and business sales all begin with a compliance check. A clean, documented GST history lets you clear that scrutiny quickly instead of watching a deal stall over old filing gaps.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| Goods in transit | E-way bills generated correctly and matched to invoices, so consignments pass roadside inspections without detention or penalty. | A defective or missing e-way bill can mean detention at a checkpoint, with penalties that dwarf the tax on the consignment. |
| Refund claims | RFD-01 filed with complete statements and annexures, tracked from ARN to bank credit, with any deficiency memo answered promptly. | Incomplete claims bounce back as deficiency memos while the refund sits unclaimed for months and working capital stays blocked. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
| Risk of notices | GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciled before filing, removing the mismatches that trigger most scrutiny notices. | Inconsistent figures across returns quietly build a mismatch history that surfaces later as ASMT-10 scrutiny or a demand notice. |
18th Avenue is a main connecting road in Ashok Nagar, about 550 m north of the centre of Ashok Nagar. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — 19th Avenue (about 150 m); 16th Avenue (about 250 m); Kamarajar Salai (about 250 m); 43rd Street (about 300 m) — so a site visit on 18th Avenue can usually be combined with other work in Ashok Nagar on the same trip. Notification No. 04/2024-Central Tax · 2024-01-05
CBIC notified a special procedure under Section 148 for manufacturers of pan masala, unmanufactured tobacco, chewing tobacco, zarda and similar products. Such manufacturers must declare details of every packing machine, its make, capacity and installation address, in Form GST SRM-I within the prescribed time, report any addition or removal of machines, and file a monthly statement of inputs and outputs in Form GST SRM-II. The procedure took effect from 1 April 2024 and carries a separate penalty for unregistered machines.
Practical effect: Any Chennai unit packing tobacco or pan masala products must register every machine in SRM-I and file SRM-II monthly, entirely separate from its normal GST returns.
M/s. Chaizup Beverages LLP v. Assistant Commissioner — Madras High Court, W.P. Nos. 10972 and 10978 of 2020, decided 26 March 2021 (Anita Sumanth J.) · 2021-03-26
The appellate authority had rejected refund claims for August and September 2017 on the basis of a departmental circular. The Madras High Court set aside that rejection, holding that Section 54(3) of the GST Act permits an exporter to opt either for duty drawback or for refund of accumulated input tax credit, and that a circular cannot override the statutory provision. The authority was directed to process the refunds within six weeks.
How we apply it: An exporter's choice between drawback and ITC refund is a statutory right, and a departmental circular is not a valid ground to refuse the refund.
29th GST Council Meeting, New Delhi — 4 August 2018 (Signed Minutes, Agenda Item 2) · 2018-08-04
The Council devoted an entire meeting to the concerns of micro, small and medium enterprises, noting that roughly five crore MSME units employ about twelve crore people. It constituted a Group of Ministers on MSME convened by the Union Minister of State for Finance, directed the Fitment, Law and IT Committees to examine MSME issues raised by States and field formations and report to that Group within two months, and required that relief already granted to the sector be documented and publicised.
Practical effect: Several later reliefs for small business, including higher registration thresholds and the composition scheme for service providers, trace back to the process started at this meeting.
