From Rs.4,999, our team delivers GST Refund RFD-01 for shops, service providers and manufacturers across Ashok Pillar (Kasi Estate). Local jurisdiction knowledge, deadline tracking and honest, upfront fees — the way GST compliance in Chennai should actually work.
We serve businesses on and around Jafferkhanpet Bridge — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Ashok Pillar marks the crossing of Inner Ring Road, 100 Feet Road and Anna Main Road, ringed by two wheeler and car showrooms, service centres, spare parts dealers, restaurants and travel operators. Kasi Estate behind Kasi Theatre houses studios, small printers, garment units and clinics, with Udhayam Theatre anchoring the retail strip and the LIC Colony and Ragavan Colony lanes carrying clinics and consultants. Vehicle dealers reconciling incentive credit notes and studios billing interstate clients keep GSTR-2B and place-of-supply work constant. From a first registration to the annual return, the full range of GST Refund RFD-01 is available to Ashok Pillar (Kasi Estate) businesses without stepping far from the shop or office — documents travel over WhatsApp, and our Chennai premises are open to anyone who prefers a face-to-face discussion. We serve Ashok Nagar and KK Nagar on the same footing, applying one rule everywhere: reconcile before filing, file before the due date, and keep the client informed at every stage.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
Traders, manufacturers, contractors, e-commerce sellers, professionals and service exporters — we have handled GST for all of them. Whatever mix of goods and services your Ashok Pillar (Kasi Estate) business supplies, the rate, classification and place-of-supply questions have almost certainly crossed our desk before.
Composition dealers have their own rulebook — CMP-08 every quarter, GSTR-4 annually by 30 June, bills of supply instead of tax invoices, and a turnover ceiling that must be watched. We handle each of these correctly so the scheme's simplicity never turns into a violation.
New GSTIN applications, core field amendments through REG-14, additional places of business — we prepare complete, query-resistant applications the first time. Clean paperwork is the difference between smooth approval and weeks lost answering clarification memos from the department.
We work with Chennai GST ranges and circles every week, including the jurisdiction covering Ashok Pillar (Kasi Estate). We know how local proper officers examine registrations, what supporting documents they routinely call for, and how to present a file so it moves without repeated queries.
A new GSTIN comes with obligations nobody explains at approval — the invoice series rules, displaying the registration certificate and GSTIN at your premises, and the first return cycle. We walk new registrants in Ashok Pillar (Kasi Estate) through each of these so month one starts correctly.
No filing leaves our desk on a junior's judgement alone. A senior GST practitioner reviews your figures, ITC claims and tax computation before submission, so errors are caught at our table and not by the department months later through a notice.
We identify the correct refund category, confirm the two-year limitation from the relevant date, and compute the admissible amount using the formula prescribed under the rules.
Invoices, shipping bills, FIRCs, the LUT and ledger extracts are compiled into the prescribed statements, and gaps that commonly cause deficiency memos are fixed upfront.
The refund application is filed on the portal with all annexures and declarations, and the acknowledgement in RFD-02 is tracked within the statutory fifteen days.
We respond to any deficiency memo in RFD-03 or show cause notice in RFD-08, appear through written submissions, and pursue provisional refund where the category permits.
We track the sanction order in RFD-06 and payment advice in RFD-05, confirm the credit in your validated bank account, and archive the complete claim file.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Application filed in 3-5 working days; sanction typically within 60 days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
When a query or verification comes, you respond through a professional who deals with the department regularly, in the department's own language and format, instead of facing an officer's letter alone.
Funding rounds, partnerships and business sales all begin with a compliance check. A clean, documented GST history lets you clear that scrutiny quickly instead of watching a deal stall over old filing gaps.
Interest on delayed GST payment runs at 18 percent per annum, which is costlier than most working capital finance. Timely computation and payment through our calendar keeps that meter permanently at zero.
With returns filed ahead of the statutory due dates every period, the Rs.50-per-day GSTR-3B late fee simply stops appearing in your life, and the money stays in your business where it belongs.
Each period you receive a simple computation showing output tax, credit utilised and net cash payable, so GST becomes a number you understand and question rather than a figure you accept blindly.
Your billing staff are guided on invoice fields, rates and series discipline, so mistakes are prevented where they originate — at the counter — instead of being repaired later in the returns.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
| Risk of notices | GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciled before filing, removing the mismatches that trigger most scrutiny notices. | Inconsistent figures across returns quietly build a mismatch history that surfaces later as ASMT-10 scrutiny or a demand notice. |
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
| Goods in transit | E-way bills generated correctly and matched to invoices, so consignments pass roadside inspections without detention or penalty. | A defective or missing e-way bill can mean detention at a checkpoint, with penalties that dwarf the tax on the consignment. |
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |

Notification No. 15/2018-Central Tax dated 23.03.2018 · 2018-03-23
This notification appointed 1 April 2018 as the date from which the substituted e-way bill provisions in rules 138 to 138D came into force. From that date an e-way bill became mandatory for inter-State movement of goods of consignment value exceeding Rs 50,000. Intra-State e-way bill requirements were rolled out State by State over the following weeks under State notifications, rather than by this Central notification.
Why this matters: For a Chennai business, inter-State e-way bills have been compulsory since 1 April 2018, while the Tamil Nadu intra-State position was notified separately by the State authority.
M/s. ATC Tires (P) Ltd v. Joint Commissioner of GST & Central Excise (Appeals) — Madras High Court (Madurai Bench), W.P.(MD) No. 949 of 2022, decided 8 March 2022 (C. Saravanan J.) · 2022-03-08
Refund of about Rs 1.42 crore of unutilised input tax credit for April to September 2019 was denied on the ground that credit had reached the SEZ unit through the head office acting as an Input Service Distributor. The Court allowed the refund, holding that Section 54(3) covers unutilised credit of a unit making zero-rated supplies, and that the second proviso to Rule 89 restricting claims to the supplier applies only to direct supplies to an SEZ, not to distributed credit.
How we apply it: A Chennai SEZ or export unit receiving credit through an ISD registration can still claim refund of unutilised ITC in its own name.
CBIC Frequently Asked Questions on GST on pre-packaged and labelled goods, dated 17 July 2022 · 2022-07-17
A day before the change took effect, the Tax Research Unit issued FAQs explaining that the expression takes its meaning from the Legal Metrology Act, 2009 and covers commodities intended for retail sale in packs of up to twenty-five kilograms or twenty-five litres that must bear statutory declarations. A single package above that limit is not covered, nor are packs supplied to an industrial or institutional consumer. Loose sale from a large pack by a retailer does not attract the levy.
Practical effect: A fifty-kilogram rice bag sold as one package stays outside the levy, but the moment it is repacked into labelled retail bags of twenty-five kilograms or less, five per cent applies.
