The 11th and the 20th arrive every month whether you are ready or not. Our Chennai team keeps businesses in Meenambakkam permanently ahead of both, delivering ASMT-10 Scrutiny Reply from Rs.3,999 with reconciliation, senior review and WhatsApp acknowledgements as standard.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Meenambakkam lives off Chennai airport: the air cargo complex on GST Road supports customs brokers, freight forwarders, courier gateways and perishable exporters, with crew hotels and taxi operators filling Bakthavachalam Nagar behind. Customs brokers recovering duty and statutory charges from clients must satisfy the pure agent conditions of Rule 33 to keep those reimbursements out of taxable value, the area's most argued GST point. Against that backdrop, ASMT-10 Scrutiny Reply in Meenambakkam demands more than data entry — it needs reconciliation before filing, correct classification and awareness of what local officers examine. Our Chennai team provides exactly that to clients in Meenambakkam, St. Thomas Mount and Pallavaram, with same-day responses on working days and WhatsApp updates at every stage. Most routine engagements complete within one to two working days once documents are in hand.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
Every new client receives a review of their recent returns before we file anything — unclaimed credit, GSTR-1 versus GSTR-3B drift, and exposures worth correcting quietly. Businesses in Meenambakkam often discover in this first review exactly why their previous arrangement was costing them money.
Send your query on call or WhatsApp and you hear back the same working day, usually within a few hours. When a due date is close or a notice has landed, waiting two days for a reply is simply not acceptable, and we know it.
GSTR-1 requires four-digit HSN reporting for turnover up to Rs.5 crore and six digits above it, and a wrong code often means a wrong rate. We verify the classification of what you actually supply, so your invoices and returns rest on defensible codes.
We are a Chennai firm with a physical office, not a faceless portal. If you prefer to sit across a table with your papers, you are welcome. Clients from Meenambakkam regularly visit us for registrations, notice discussions and annual return reviews.
OTP failures, DSC errors, stuck submissions on due-date evenings — we deal with the GST portal daily and know the workarounds. When the site misbehaves on the 20th, our team keeps retrying and escalating so your return still goes through.
Sellers on Amazon, Flipkart and other marketplaces face a three-way match between marketplace reports, GSTR-1 and the TCS the operator deposits against your GSTIN. We reconcile all three every period and accept the TCS credit, so sellers in Meenambakkam never leave marketplace deductions unclaimed.
Each item in the ASMT-10 annexure is mapped to its source, whether a GSTR-1 versus 3B gap, a 2B excess, or an e-way bill mismatch.
We rebuild the numbers from invoices and registers, identifying timing differences, amendments and credit notes that legitimately explain the gaps the officer has computed.
For each discrepancy we advise whether to explain with evidence or accept and pay, so the reply concedes nothing that is actually defensible.
The reply is drafted with annexures, approved by you, and filed in Form ASMT-11 within the thirty-day limit, with DRC-03 attached for any admitted amount.
We pursue the officer for the acceptance order in ASMT-12, respond to any further queries, and document the closure to protect you in future proceedings.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Draft reply in 4-6 working days; statutory limit 30 days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Each period you receive a simple computation showing output tax, credit utilised and net cash payable, so GST becomes a number you understand and question rather than a figure you accept blindly.
With returns filed ahead of the statutory due dates every period, the Rs.50-per-day GSTR-3B late fee simply stops appearing in your life, and the money stays in your business where it belongs.
With the LUT filed at the start of each financial year and refund claims tracked to credit, exporters supply without blocking funds in IGST and recover accumulated credit on schedule.
You know your expected GST outflow days before the 20th, not on the night of filing. That advance visibility lets you plan payments, collections and bank balances instead of scrambling for funds at the deadline.
Because turnover in your GST returns is kept aligned with your accounts through the year, income tax filing and statutory audit proceed without the GST-versus-books mismatch queries that now surface routinely through data matching.
When a query or verification comes, you respond through a professional who deals with the department regularly, in the department's own language and format, instead of facing an officer's letter alone.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Registration and amendments | Query-resistant applications prepared correctly the first time, with supporting documents matched to what proper officers actually verify. | Repeated clarification memos and resubmissions, with weeks lost because a rent agreement or premises photograph did not meet expectations. |
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |
| Portal credentials and data | Logins handled by a small engaged team under strict confidentiality, with credentials stored securely and never passed onward. | Passwords circulating on chats with freelancers and part-timers, and no accountability for who has accessed your business data. |
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| Risk of notices | GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciled before filing, removing the mismatches that trigger most scrutiny notices. | Inconsistent figures across returns quietly build a mismatch history that surfaces later as ASMT-10 scrutiny or a demand notice. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
A working knowledge of recent instruments and judgments is what separates a defensible filing from a risky one.
23rd GST Council Meeting, Guwahati — 10 November 2017 (PIB Release ID 1509037) · 2017-11-10
The Council recommended reducing the GST rate from 28 to 18 per cent on goods falling in 178 headings at the four-digit level, including four headings only partially pruned, so that the 28 per cent list fell from 224 tariff headings to only about 50. Further reductions were recommended from 28 to 12 per cent, from 18 to 12 per cent and from 18 to 5 per cent on specified goods, together with relief for the aviation and handicraft sectors and restaurants.
What it means for you: This is the single largest rate rationalisation of the early GST years and reset the price and credit position for most Chennai consumer goods dealers overnight.
Circular No. 183/15/2022-GST · 2022-12-27
For the first two years of GST, when GSTR-2A was not available in real time, the Board allowed officers to accept genuine credit even where the supplier's invoice does not appear in GSTR-2A. The taxpayer must produce a certificate from the supplier confirming that the supply was made and the tax was actually paid. Where the tax involved for a particular supplier in a financial year exceeds five lakh rupees, the certificate must come from a chartered accountant or cost accountant carrying a UDIN.
What to do about it: This is the primary defence for Chennai businesses facing ASMT-10 or DRC-01 mismatch demands for 2017-18 and 2018-19, so start collecting supplier certificates early.
Notification No. 12/2018-Central Tax dated 07.03.2018 · 2018-03-07
After the failed first attempt at rollout, this notification substituted rules 138, 138A, 138B, 138C and 138D of the CGST Rules with a redrafted set. The revised rules refined who must generate the e-way bill, introduced clearer treatment of transport by rail, air and vessel, addressed transfer of goods between conveyances and consolidated e-way bills, and rationalised the validity period and the list of exempt movements.
What to do about it: The e-way bill rules a Chennai business follows today are substantially the version substituted by this notification, so older commentary written before March 2018 can be misleading.

Upload the PDF to our free GST Notice Analyser. It identifies which of 34 notice types you have, pulls out the DIN, GSTIN and tax period, reads the reply date printed on the notice and tells you plainly whether that date has already passed — along with the documents and reconciliations you will need. No payment, no account. If the notice does not state a date we can read, it says so rather than guessing one for you.
