From Rs.1,499, our team delivers New GST Registration for shops, service providers and manufacturers across Mudichur. Local jurisdiction knowledge, deadline tracking and honest, upfront fees — the way GST compliance in Chennai should actually work.
We serve businesses on and around Elango Street — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Mudichur's construction boom along the Tambaram - Mudichur - Sriperumbudur Road and the Outer Ring Road has filled former paddy fields with apartment projects, plot promotions, building material yards, hardware and paint shops, water-can suppliers and packers-and-movers out to Varadharajapuram and Mannivakkam. Construction is the GST epicentre here: rate confusion on works contracts, the eighty per cent registered-purchase rule for promoters, and flood-season filing relief. That commercial character shapes the GST questions we see from Mudichur every week — registrations, monthly returns, credit mismatches and departmental queries. We deliver New GST Registration for businesses in Mudichur, and clients also reach us from Perungalathur and Varadharajapuram nearby. Documents move over WhatsApp, drafts are approved before filing, and a senior consultant reviews every submission, so distance from our office never dilutes the quality of the work.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
A registration cancelled for non-filing is not the end of the road. We bring the pending returns up to date, clear the dues and file the revocation application in REG-21 within the permitted window, restoring suspended and cancelled GSTINs to active status.
Tally, Zoho Books, Busy, marketplace reports, plain Excel or even a handwritten bill book — we take your data in whatever form your Mudichur business already maintains it. You are never forced to buy new software or retrain staff just to become our client.
You receive a WhatsApp message when documents are received, when the draft is ready for your approval, and when the return or application is filed, along with the acknowledgement. You never have to call and ask what is happening with your file.
Your sales figures, supplier lists and login credentials are handled only by our engaged team, stored securely and never shared with any third party. Many of our clients in Mudichur compete with each other; complete confidentiality is a condition of our work.
GSTR-3B late fees run at Rs.50 per day and interest at 18 percent per annum on unpaid tax. Our internal cut-offs sit days ahead of statutory due dates precisely so that our clients never hand the department a rupee they did not owe.
If your GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B start drifting apart, if a large supplier stops filing, or if your turnover approaches the e-invoice threshold, we flag it to you immediately. Early warnings from our side are cheaper than departmental letters later.
You share PAN, Aadhaar, photographs, address proof and bank details over WhatsApp or email. We review each document against portal requirements and flag anything that could trigger an officer query.
We draft Form GST REG-01 with the correct business constitution, principal place of business, HSN or SAC codes and authorised signatory details, then share a summary for your confirmation.
The application is filed on the GST portal and we guide the authorised signatory through Aadhaar OTP authentication, which speeds up approval and usually avoids physical verification of premises.
We track the ARN daily. If the officer issues a notice in Form REG-03 seeking clarification, we draft and file the reply in Form REG-04 within the permitted time.
Once approved, we download your registration certificate in Form REG-06, help set up portal login credentials, and brief you on invoice format, return due dates and e-way bill obligations.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: 3-7 working days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Filed returns, challans, reconciliations and working papers are archived in order from day one. If an audit or departmental verification comes, your file is ready the same week, not assembled in a panic.
Correct, complete tax invoices signal a well-run business to customers, vendors and banks alike, quietly strengthening your credibility in every transaction where your paperwork is seen.
Getting IGST versus CGST and SGST right at the invoice stage spares you the painful cycle of paying the correct head again and pursuing a refund of the amount paid under the wrong one.
Correct e-way bills matched to correct invoices mean your consignments clear roadside inspections cleanly, avoiding detention proceedings whose penalties can far exceed the tax on the goods being carried.
Loan applications and government tenders routinely demand GST returns and registration documents. With everything filed and archived properly, you can produce a complete compliance file within hours instead of days.
Your scheme choice — regular, composition or QRMP — is re-examined as turnover and margins change, so you are always paying under the structure that legitimately costs your business the least.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
Elango Street is a residential street in Mudichur, about 1.7 km north-east of the centre of Mudichur. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Pillaiyar Koil Street (about 100 m); Gandhi Road (about 100 m); Dr. Radhakrishnan Road (about 150 m); Kamarajar Street (about 150 m) — so a site visit on Elango Street can usually be combined with other work in Mudichur on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Elango Street falls under the Chennai Outer CGST Commissionerate, and the Mudichur pincode is 600048.

19th GST Council Meeting (video conference) — 17 July 2017 (Signed Minutes, Agenda Item 2; CBIC Press Release dated 17 July 2017) · 2017-07-17
Meeting by video conference barely a fortnight after rollout, the Council found that the combination of a twenty-eight per cent rate and the compensation cess rates originally fixed had left cigarettes bearing less tax than under the earlier excise and VAT regime, handing manufacturers a windfall. The Council recommended an increase in the compensation cess rates on cigarettes so as to align the total GST incidence with the pre-GST level, and the revised cess rates were notified with effect from 18 July 2017.
Why this matters: It showed early on that the Council would move within days to correct a rate that produced an unintended windfall, in either direction.
Westinghouse Saxby Farmer Ltd v. Commissioner of Central Excise, Calcutta — Supreme Court, AIR 2021 SC 1409, judgment dated 08-03-2021 · 2021-03-08
The Supreme Court held that relays manufactured solely for use in railway signalling equipment were classifiable under the chapter covering railway goods rather than the general electrical apparatus chapter. It applied the relevant section note treating parts suitable for use solely or principally with a particular article as classifiable with that article. The judgment illustrates that classification turns on the statutory notes and the predominant use of the item.
What to do about it: A Chennai manufacturer classifying components should examine the section and chapter notes, as sole or principal use can shift the heading and the GST rate.
Notification No. 1/2017-Central Tax (Rate), dated 28 June 2017 (G.S.R. 673(E)) · 2017-06-28
This was the founding rate notification for goods. It listed every taxable item against its Customs Tariff heading in six schedules, prescribing central tax of 2.5, 6, 9, 14, 1.5 and 0.125 per cent, which with the matching State tax gave the familiar 5, 12, 18, 28, 3 and 0.25 per cent rates. Anything not listed in a schedule or exempted separately fell to the residual 18 per cent rate. It was amended dozens of times before being superseded on 22 September 2025.
What to do about it: For any dispute about a supply made up to 21 September 2025, the rate must be traced to the schedule entry of this notification as it stood on the date of supply, not to today's rate.
