From Rs.4,999, our team delivers GST Refund RFD-01 for shops, service providers and manufacturers across Perungudi. Local jurisdiction knowledge, deadline tracking and honest, upfront fees — the way GST compliance in Chennai should actually work.
We serve businesses on and around Kodikathan Kumaran Street — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Perungudi anchors the northern OMR IT corridor, with tech parks along Rajiv Gandhi Salai and Dr. MGR Salai at Kandanchavadi and a service ecosystem of caterers, facility managers and transport vendors. IT exporters need annual LUT renewal in RFD-11 and refunds of unutilised ITC on zero-rated supplies, while vendors billing SEZ units must document endorsed invoices correctly. We have supported businesses of exactly this profile with GST Refund RFD-01 across Perungudi for years, along with clients from Thoraipakkam and Taramani. The engagement is simple: one point of contact, a clear fee, documents over WhatsApp or in person at our Chennai office, and senior review before anything is submitted on the portal. What you get in return is clean filings, archived records and far fewer reasons for the department to write to you.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
We tell you when the composition scheme stops making sense, when QRMP suits your cash flow, and when a supplier's non-compliance is quietly costing you credit. Filing is the minimum; helping you make better GST decisions is the actual job.
We are a Chennai firm with a physical office, not a faceless portal. If you prefer to sit across a table with your papers, you are welcome. Clients from Perungudi regularly visit us for registrations, notice discussions and annual return reviews.
GSTR-1 requires four-digit HSN reporting for turnover up to Rs.5 crore and six digits above it, and a wrong code often means a wrong rate. We verify the classification of what you actually supply, so your invoices and returns rest on defensible codes.
Winding up attracts its own GST obligations — the cancellation application, reversal of credit on closing stock, and the final return in GSTR-10 within three months. We close registrations properly so a business you shut in Perungudi never writes back to you as a demand years later.
Traders, manufacturers, contractors, e-commerce sellers, professionals and service exporters — we have handled GST for all of them. Whatever mix of goods and services your Perungudi business supplies, the rate, classification and place-of-supply questions have almost certainly crossed our desk before.
You deal with one accountable person who knows your business, your turnover pattern and your filing history. No repeating your story to a new voice every month, and no file falling between two desks when a deadline is approaching.
We identify the correct refund category, confirm the two-year limitation from the relevant date, and compute the admissible amount using the formula prescribed under the rules.
Invoices, shipping bills, FIRCs, the LUT and ledger extracts are compiled into the prescribed statements, and gaps that commonly cause deficiency memos are fixed upfront.
The refund application is filed on the portal with all annexures and declarations, and the acknowledgement in RFD-02 is tracked within the statutory fifteen days.
We respond to any deficiency memo in RFD-03 or show cause notice in RFD-08, appear through written submissions, and pursue provisional refund where the category permits.
We track the sanction order in RFD-06 and payment advice in RFD-05, confirm the credit in your validated bank account, and archive the complete claim file.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Application filed in 3-5 working days; sanction typically within 60 days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Correct, complete tax invoices signal a well-run business to customers, vendors and banks alike, quietly strengthening your credibility in every transaction where your paperwork is seen.
When GST knowledge lives inside a single staff member, their resignation becomes a compliance crisis. With our firm as the standing process, your filings continue uninterrupted regardless of internal staff changes.
A fixed professional fee is almost always cheaper than the combination of late fees, interest, lost credit and staff hours that informal, last-minute compliance quietly accumulates over a year.
Because turnover in your GST returns is kept aligned with your accounts through the year, income tax filing and statutory audit proceed without the GST-versus-books mismatch queries that now surface routinely through data matching.
Systematic GSTR-2B matching and supplier follow-up mean input tax credit that was leaking away under self-filing is captured each month, directly reducing the cash you pay out with every GSTR-3B.
Complete RFD-01 applications with proper statements and annexures move through the system faster and attract fewer deficiency memos, which means export and inverted-duty refunds reach your bank account sooner.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
| Refund claims | RFD-01 filed with complete statements and annexures, tracked from ARN to bank credit, with any deficiency memo answered promptly. | Incomplete claims bounce back as deficiency memos while the refund sits unclaimed for months and working capital stays blocked. |
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
| Registration and amendments | Query-resistant applications prepared correctly the first time, with supporting documents matched to what proper officers actually verify. | Repeated clarification memos and resubmissions, with weeks lost because a rent agreement or premises photograph did not meet expectations. |
Kodikathan Kumaran Street is a residential street in Perungudi, about 1.8 km north-west of the centre of Perungudi. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Gangai Street (about 550 m); Taramani Link Road (about 650 m); Nagamani Adigalar Street (about 900 m); Anna Nedunchalai (about 1.0 km) — so a site visit on Kodikathan Kumaran Street can usually be combined with other work in Perungudi on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Kodikathan Kumaran Street falls under the Chennai South CGST Commissionerate, and the Perungudi pincode is 600096.

M/s. Lodha Roadways v. Deputy State Tax Officer — Madras High Court, W.P. No. 12595 of 2023, decided 24 April 2023 (Anita Sumanth J.) · 2023-04-24
A transporter sought release of detained goods. The Court dismissed the petition, holding that under Section 129 the entitlement to seek release of goods lies only with the owner, his agent or representative. The transporter's remedy is confined to release of the conveyance on payment of the penalty or one lakh rupees, whichever is less. Any claim about payment of tax on the consignment has to be pursued by the assessee who owns the goods, not by the carrier.
What it means for you: When a Chennai consignment is detained, the consignor or consignee must file the release application in its own name; letting the lorry operator do it will cost time.
Notification No. 9/2025-Central Tax (Rate), dated 17 September 2025, Schedules IV, V and VI · 2025-09-17
Schedule IV at 1.5 per cent central tax, that is three per cent combined, covers pearls, silver, gold, platinum, base metals clad with precious metal, articles of jewellery, goldsmiths' and silversmiths' wares, imitation jewellery and coin. Schedule V at 0.125 per cent, that is 0.25 per cent combined, covers rough or simply sawn diamonds and unworked precious and semi-precious stones. Schedule VI at 0.75 per cent, that is 1.5 per cent combined, covers cut and polished diamonds and worked synthetic stones.
How we apply it: Jewellers in Chennai continue to charge three per cent on ornaments, with the separate making charge taxed as a service, so no repricing was needed in September 2025.
Circular No. 127/46/2019-GST dated 4 December 2019 · 2019-12-04
Circular No. 107/26/2019-GST of 18 July 2019 had sought to classify certain information technology enabled services, and in particular back-office support supplied to overseas clients, in a way that could treat the Indian supplier as an intermediary and deny export status. After representations from the industry, CBIC withdrew that circular ab initio, so it is treated as never having been issued.
What it means for you: Chennai back-office and BPO units should ensure no notice relies on the withdrawn ITeS circular; the governing guidance is now Circular 159/15/2021 on intermediaries.
