From Rs.1,499, our team delivers New GST Registration for shops, service providers and manufacturers across Tambaram. Local jurisdiction knowledge, deadline tracking and honest, upfront fees — the way GST compliance in Chennai should actually work.
We serve businesses on and around Old State Bank Road (Forest Road) — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Choosing New GST Registration in Tambaram is ultimately an act of trust: you are handing over sales figures, purchase records and portal access. Tambaram is the southern suburbs' trading hub: wholesale and retail clusters around Duraisamy Reddy Street and Gandhi Road in West Tambaram, MEPZ-SEZ exporters at Tambaram Sanatorium and institutions like Madras Christian College. Suppliers to MEPZ units must execute zero-rated supplies under LUT with proper endorsements, and wholesalers carry chronic ITC mismatch exposure from multi-supplier purchases. We earn that trust the unglamorous way — fixed fees honoured, drafts approved by you before filing, acknowledgements shared the same day, and strict confidentiality throughout. Clients across Tambaram, Chromepet and Selaiyur have stayed with us for years on precisely this basis.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
GSTR-1 by the 11th, GSTR-3B by the 20th, CMP-08 by the 18th after each quarter — we maintain a compliance calendar for every client and start chasing your data well before the due date, so late fees never enter the picture.
Every acknowledgement, challan, computation sheet and filed return is saved and shared with you in an organised folder. When a bank, buyer or GST officer asks for a document from two years ago, it reaches you the same day without any scrambling.
You are told the full fee before we begin, in writing. No surprise additions for uploads, revisions or acknowledgements. Government fees and taxes, where applicable, are shown separately, so businesses in Tambaram always know exactly what the engagement costs them.
GST is confusing enough without a language barrier. Our team explains notices, tax positions and filing requirements in plain Tamil or English, whichever you and your staff in Tambaram are comfortable with, and keeps written communication simple and jargon-free.
If your GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B start drifting apart, if a large supplier stops filing, or if your turnover approaches the e-invoice threshold, we flag it to you immediately. Early warnings from our side are cheaper than departmental letters later.
We are a Chennai firm with a physical office, not a faceless portal. If you prefer to sit across a table with your papers, you are welcome. Clients from Tambaram regularly visit us for registrations, notice discussions and annual return reviews.
You share PAN, Aadhaar, photographs, address proof and bank details over WhatsApp or email. We review each document against portal requirements and flag anything that could trigger an officer query.
We draft Form GST REG-01 with the correct business constitution, principal place of business, HSN or SAC codes and authorised signatory details, then share a summary for your confirmation.
The application is filed on the GST portal and we guide the authorised signatory through Aadhaar OTP authentication, which speeds up approval and usually avoids physical verification of premises.
We track the ARN daily. If the officer issues a notice in Form REG-03 seeking clarification, we draft and file the reply in Form REG-04 within the permitted time.
Once approved, we download your registration certificate in Form REG-06, help set up portal login credentials, and brief you on invoice format, return due dates and e-way bill obligations.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: 3-7 working days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Filed returns, challans, reconciliations and working papers are archived in order from day one. If an audit or departmental verification comes, your file is ready the same week, not assembled in a panic.
Whether moving between composition and regular scheme, opting into QRMP, or crossing the e-invoice threshold at Rs.5 crore, transitions are planned in advance rather than discovered after a compliance breach.
A fixed professional fee is almost always cheaper than the combination of late fees, interest, lost credit and staff hours that informal, last-minute compliance quietly accumulates over a year.
New branches, new product lines and interstate sales all carry GST consequences. With standing professional support, you expand knowing registrations, invoicing and returns will keep pace with the business.
Your scheme choice — regular, composition or QRMP — is re-examined as turnover and margins change, so you are always paying under the structure that legitimately costs your business the least.
Systematic GSTR-2B matching and supplier follow-up mean input tax credit that was leaking away under self-filing is captured each month, directly reducing the cash you pay out with every GSTR-3B.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
| Refund claims | RFD-01 filed with complete statements and annexures, tracked from ARN to bank credit, with any deficiency memo answered promptly. | Incomplete claims bounce back as deficiency memos while the refund sits unclaimed for months and working capital stays blocked. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
Old State Bank Road (Forest Road) is a main connecting road in Tambaram, about 1.6 km north-west of the centre of Tambaram. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Tambaram - Somangalam Road (about 200 m); Govindarajan Street (about 200 m); Venkatesan Street (about 250 m); Rajaji Road (about 350 m) — so a site visit on Old State Bank Road (Forest Road) can usually be combined with other work in Tambaram on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Old State Bank Road (Forest Road) falls under the Chennai Outer CGST Commissionerate, and the Tambaram pincode is 600045.
Road classification and position from OpenStreetMap; distances are straight-line and approximate. Jurisdiction must be confirmed on your own registration certificate.
We track every notification, circular and judgment that changes a filing position, so your returns and replies reflect the current law.
Notification No. 2/2022-Central Tax (Rate), dated 31 March 2022 · 2022-03-31
From 1 April 2022 fly ash bricks and blocks, building bricks, bricks of fossil meals and earthen or roofing tiles moved to twelve per cent with input tax credit under the main schedule, with this notification offering an alternative six per cent rate on condition that no input tax credit is taken on inputs, input services or capital goods. Brick manufacturers were simultaneously moved to a lower registration threshold and taken out of the ordinary composition scheme.
How we apply it: A brick kiln near Chennai must consciously elect between six per cent without credit and twelve per cent with credit, and the choice should be worked out on its actual input tax cost.
Commissioner of Central Excise, Bolpur v. Ratan Melting and Wire Industries — Supreme Court, Constitution Bench, (2008) 13 SCC 1, judgment dated 14-10-2008 · 2008-10-14
A five-judge Bench held that circulars issued by the Board cannot prevail over the statute, and are not binding on courts. Where the Supreme Court or a High Court has declared the law on an issue, that declaration prevails and any contrary circular ceases to have effect. Circulars remain an aid to administration and can bind officers, but they cannot enlarge or restrict what the legislature has enacted.
Practical effect: Chennai businesses should treat CBIC circulars as useful administrative guidance, but should not rely on one that conflicts with the plain words of the GST Act.
23rd GST Council Meeting, Guwahati — 10 November 2017 (PIB Release ID 1509037) · 2017-11-10
The Council recommended reducing the GST rate from 28 to 18 per cent on goods falling in 178 headings at the four-digit level, including four headings only partially pruned, so that the 28 per cent list fell from 224 tariff headings to only about 50. Further reductions were recommended from 28 to 12 per cent, from 18 to 12 per cent and from 18 to 5 per cent on specified goods, together with relief for the aviation and handicraft sectors and restaurants.
What to do about it: This is the single largest rate rationalisation of the early GST years and reset the price and credit position for most Chennai consumer goods dealers overnight.
