Whether you are a first-time registrant or an established trader, New GST Registration in Thoraipakkam deserves a specialist rather than a side job. From Rs.1,499, our GST-focused Chennai practice runs the entire process on written checklists and senior-reviewed submissions.
We serve businesses on and around Gandhi Street — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Thoraipakkam sits where Rajiv Gandhi Salai meets the Pallavaram - Thoraipakkam Road, and its frontage carries IT offices, coworking spaces, car showrooms, cloud kitchens, furniture and hardware dealers, plus paying-guest hostels serving Secretariat Colony and Kumaran Kudil. Restaurant chains on the OMR service road and promoters in the interior streets struggle with e-invoicing thresholds, blocked credit on restaurant supply and monthly GSTR-3B reconciliation against GSTR-2B. That commercial character shapes the GST questions we see from Thoraipakkam every week — registrations, monthly returns, credit mismatches and departmental queries. We deliver New GST Registration for businesses in Thoraipakkam, and clients also reach us from Perungudi and Karapakkam nearby. Documents move over WhatsApp, drafts are approved before filing, and a senior consultant reviews every submission, so distance from our office never dilutes the quality of the work.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
We work with Chennai GST ranges and circles every week, including the jurisdiction covering Thoraipakkam. We know how local proper officers examine registrations, what supporting documents they routinely call for, and how to present a file so it moves without repeated queries.
Your sales figures, supplier lists and login credentials are handled only by our engaged team, stored securely and never shared with any third party. Many of our clients in Thoraipakkam compete with each other; complete confidentiality is a condition of our work.
Every acknowledgement, challan, computation sheet and filed return is saved and shared with you in an organised folder. When a bank, buyer or GST officer asks for a document from two years ago, it reaches you the same day without any scrambling.
A registration cancelled for non-filing is not the end of the road. We bring the pending returns up to date, clear the dues and file the revocation application in REG-21 within the permitted window, restoring suspended and cancelled GSTINs to active status.
No filing leaves our desk on a junior's judgement alone. A senior GST practitioner reviews your figures, ITC claims and tax computation before submission, so errors are caught at our table and not by the department months later through a notice.
New GSTIN applications, core field amendments through REG-14, additional places of business — we prepare complete, query-resistant applications the first time. Clean paperwork is the difference between smooth approval and weeks lost answering clarification memos from the department.
You share PAN, Aadhaar, photographs, address proof and bank details over WhatsApp or email. We review each document against portal requirements and flag anything that could trigger an officer query.
We draft Form GST REG-01 with the correct business constitution, principal place of business, HSN or SAC codes and authorised signatory details, then share a summary for your confirmation.
The application is filed on the GST portal and we guide the authorised signatory through Aadhaar OTP authentication, which speeds up approval and usually avoids physical verification of premises.
We track the ARN daily. If the officer issues a notice in Form REG-03 seeking clarification, we draft and file the reply in Form REG-04 within the permitted time.
Once approved, we download your registration certificate in Form REG-06, help set up portal login credentials, and brief you on invoice format, return due dates and e-way bill obligations.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: 3-7 working days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
With the LUT filed at the start of each financial year and refund claims tracked to credit, exporters supply without blocking funds in IGST and recover accumulated credit on schedule.
Continuous filing protects you from the suspension and cancellation proceedings that hit chronic non-filers, so your registration, e-way bill access and ability to issue tax invoices are never suddenly cut off.
Funding rounds, partnerships and business sales all begin with a compliance check. A clean, documented GST history lets you clear that scrutiny quickly instead of watching a deal stall over old filing gaps.
You know your expected GST outflow days before the 20th, not on the night of filing. That advance visibility lets you plan payments, collections and bank balances instead of scrambling for funds at the deadline.
Illness, travel or a family function no longer threatens a deadline. With a standing external process holding your calendar and data trail, filings proceed on schedule whether or not you are at your desk.
Loan applications and government tenders routinely demand GST returns and registration documents. With everything filed and archived properly, you can produce a complete compliance file within hours instead of days.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Registration and amendments | Query-resistant applications prepared correctly the first time, with supporting documents matched to what proper officers actually verify. | Repeated clarification memos and resubmissions, with weeks lost because a rent agreement or premises photograph did not meet expectations. |
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
| Risk of notices | GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciled before filing, removing the mismatches that trigger most scrutiny notices. | Inconsistent figures across returns quietly build a mismatch history that surfaces later as ASMT-10 scrutiny or a demand notice. |
Gandhi Street is a residential street in Thoraipakkam, about 750 m south-east of the centre of Thoraipakkam. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Eswaran Kovil Street (about 50 m); Raju Nagar 4th Street (about 150 m); Eshwaran Koil Street (about 200 m); Raju Nagar 6th Street (about 250 m) — so a site visit on Gandhi Street can usually be combined with other work in Thoraipakkam on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Gandhi Street falls under the Chennai South CGST Commissionerate, and the Thoraipakkam pincode is 600097.

Navbharat Imports - AAR Tamil Nadu, Advance Ruling No. 35/AAR/2021, dated 30 September 2021 · 2021-09-30
The importer sold a range of children's toys, some containing electronic circuits and some working purely mechanically. It asked for the correct rate on each. The Authority held that toys containing electronic components attract 18 percent under the residual entry for electronic toys, irrespective of how those components are used, so children's scooters and smart tricycles with lights and music are taxed at 18 percent, while toys that work without electronics remain at 12 percent.
Practical effect: Chennai toy traders must classify item by item, because a single electronic component moves a product from 12 to 18 percent.
Circular No. 243/37/2024-GST · 2024-12-31
CBIC clarified that transactions in vouchers are neither a supply of goods nor of services. Where a voucher is dealt with on a principal-to-principal basis, no GST arises on its sale or distribution. Where a distributor acts as an agent for a commission, GST applies on that commission. Additional services such as marketing, customisation and technology support are taxable at eighteen per cent, and unredeemed vouchers, or breakage, do not attract GST as no supply takes place.
What it means for you: Retailers and platforms issuing gift vouchers should charge GST only on the underlying goods at redemption and on any commission earned, not on the voucher sale itself.
35th GST Council Meeting, New Delhi — 21 June 2019 · 2019-06-21
At the first meeting chaired by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, the Council decided to introduce an electronic invoicing system in a phase-wise manner for business-to-business transactions. The press release recorded that e-invoicing would help taxpayers with backward integration and automation of tax-relevant processes and would help authorities combat evasion, with Phase 1 proposed to be voluntary and rolled out from January 2020. This decision is the origin of the Invoice Registration Portal, the IRN and the QR code now mandatory for most mid-sized and large businesses.
What it means for you: Every later e-invoicing threshold reduction, down to the Rs 5 crore limit now applicable, traces back to this decision, so businesses crossing a threshold must set up e-invoicing from the first day of the next financial year.
