Reliable New GST Registration for Virugambakkam businesses at a clear, fixed fee starting Rs.1,499. We handle the documentation, portal work and follow-up, you approve the draft before anything is filed, and the acknowledgement reaches you on WhatsApp the moment the filing goes through.

Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Virugambakkam runs on neighbourhood trade: provision stores, vegetable vendors around the Virugambakkam market, bakeries and hardware shops along Arcot Road and Kaliamman Koil Street, which links the area to Koyambedu. Most traders are small B2C businesses for whom composition scheme selection, the Rs.40 lakh goods registration threshold and late fee exposure of Rs.50 per day on delayed GSTR-3B are the practical concerns. We have supported businesses of exactly this profile with New GST Registration across Virugambakkam for years, along with clients from Saligramam and Valasaravakkam. The engagement is simple: one point of contact, a clear fee, documents over WhatsApp or in person at our Chennai office, and senior review before anything is submitted on the portal. What you get in return is clean filings, archived records and far fewer reasons for the department to write to you.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
GSTR-1 requires four-digit HSN reporting for turnover up to Rs.5 crore and six digits above it, and a wrong code often means a wrong rate. We verify the classification of what you actually supply, so your invoices and returns rest on defensible codes.
New GSTIN applications, core field amendments through REG-14, additional places of business — we prepare complete, query-resistant applications the first time. Clean paperwork is the difference between smooth approval and weeks lost answering clarification memos from the department.
GSTR-1 by the 11th, GSTR-3B by the 20th, CMP-08 by the 18th after each quarter — we maintain a compliance calendar for every client and start chasing your data well before the due date, so late fees never enter the picture.
Goods sent to job workers must move on delivery challans, return within the statutory period, and be reported in ITC-04. We track every outward and return leg for manufacturing clients in Virugambakkam, so inputs sent out for processing never quietly convert into a deemed supply carrying tax and interest.
You receive a WhatsApp message when documents are received, when the draft is ready for your approval, and when the return or application is filed, along with the acknowledgement. You never have to call and ask what is happening with your file.
Your cash ledger, credit ledger and liability register are reviewed regularly, not just at filing time. Excess balances are flagged for use or refund, and where a genuine slip surfaces, a voluntary payment through DRC-03 settles it before it can mature into a notice.
You share PAN, Aadhaar, photographs, address proof and bank details over WhatsApp or email. We review each document against portal requirements and flag anything that could trigger an officer query.
We draft Form GST REG-01 with the correct business constitution, principal place of business, HSN or SAC codes and authorised signatory details, then share a summary for your confirmation.
The application is filed on the GST portal and we guide the authorised signatory through Aadhaar OTP authentication, which speeds up approval and usually avoids physical verification of premises.
We track the ARN daily. If the officer issues a notice in Form REG-03 seeking clarification, we draft and file the reply in Form REG-04 within the permitted time.
Once approved, we download your registration certificate in Form REG-06, help set up portal login credentials, and brief you on invoice format, return due dates and e-way bill obligations.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: 3-7 working days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
E-commerce platforms continuously validate seller GSTINs and filing status. A consistently compliant registration keeps your listings active and settlements flowing, with no sudden suspension of your online sales channel.
Late-fee waivers and amnesty windows notified by the GST Council are applied to your history within their deadlines, capturing reliefs that most businesses only hear about once the window has already closed.
Because monthly data is reconciled as it happens, GSTR-9 preparation before the 31 December due date becomes a review exercise rather than a painful reconstruction of twelve untidy months.
Continuous filing protects you from the suspension and cancellation proceedings that hit chronic non-filers, so your registration, e-way bill access and ability to issue tax invoices are never suddenly cut off.
Getting IGST versus CGST and SGST right at the invoice stage spares you the painful cycle of paying the correct head again and pursuing a refund of the amount paid under the wrong one.
Correct, complete tax invoices signal a well-run business to customers, vendors and banks alike, quietly strengthening your credibility in every transaction where your paperwork is seen.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
| Registration and amendments | Query-resistant applications prepared correctly the first time, with supporting documents matched to what proper officers actually verify. | Repeated clarification memos and resubmissions, with weeks lost because a rent agreement or premises photograph did not meet expectations. |
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
Kaliamman Koil Street is a secondary arterial road in Virugambakkam, about 350 m south-east of the centre of Virugambakkam. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — 2nd Cross Street (about 150 m); Gangai Amman Koil Street (about 350 m); Thangal Street (about 400 m); Reddy Street (about 450 m) — so a site visit on Kaliamman Koil Street can usually be combined with other work in Virugambakkam on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Kaliamman Koil Street falls under the Chennai South CGST Commissionerate, and the Virugambakkam pincode is 600092.
Road classification and position from OpenStreetMap; distances are straight-line and approximate. Jurisdiction must be confirmed on your own registration certificate.
A working knowledge of recent instruments and judgments is what separates a defensible filing from a risky one.
Circular No. 73/47/2018-GST dated 5 November 2018 · 2018-11-05
Following the principal-agent circular, CBIC clarified the position of a del credere agent who guarantees payment by the buyer. Whether he is an agent under Schedule I again depends on whether he invoices the goods in his own name. Where he is not an agent and extends short-term credit to the buyer, the interest he charges is exempt as a supply of extending deposits or loans; where he is an agent, the interest forms part of the value of the supply of goods.
Practical effect: Agents who finance their buyers should document whether they invoice the goods themselves, since that determines whether the interest they collect is exempt or taxable.
Thai Mookambikaa Ladies Hostel v. Union of India — Madras High Court, W.P. No. 28486 of 2023, judgment dated 22 March 2024 (reversing the Tamil Nadu AAR) · 2024-03-22
The Tamil Nadu AAR held that hostel accommodation provided to college students and working women is not renting of a residential dwelling for use as residence, so the exemption did not apply and GST was payable. On writ, the Madras High Court reversed that view on 22 March 2024, holding that hostel rooms occupied by girl students and working women as their residence qualify for the exemption for renting of residential dwelling under Entry 12 of Notification No. 12/2017-Central Tax (Rate), and observing that the legislature never intended to burden such occupants with tax.
What it means for you: Hostel and PG operators in Tamil Nadu can rely on the Madras High Court ruling for exemption, but should document residential use of every room.
Kone Elevator India (P) Ltd v. State of Tamil Nadu — Supreme Court, Constitution Bench, (2014) 7 SCC 1, judgment dated 06-05-2014 · 2014-05-06
A five-judge Bench overruled the earlier view and held that a composite contract for manufacture, supply and installation of a lift is a works contract, because the lift comes into existence as a functional unit only on installation at site. The dominant nature test was rejected for contracts falling within the deemed sale of works contracts. The composite character of such contracts is now the basis of works contract taxation under GST.
What it means for you: Chennai contractors doing supply-plus-installation work should classify the transaction as a works contract service under GST rather than splitting it into goods and labour.
