Whether you are a first-time registrant or an established trader, E-Way Bill Registration & Support in Chennai deserves a specialist rather than a side job. From Rs.999, our GST-focused Chennai practice runs the entire process on written checklists and senior-reviewed submissions.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Any movement of goods with consignment value above Rs.50,000, whether by supply, job work, branch transfer or return, generally requires an e-way bill generated on the e-way bill portal before the goods start moving. Detention under Section 129 for moving goods without a valid e-way bill is one of the most expensive compliance failures in GST, with penalty running to 200% of the tax involved, so getting the system right is not optional for traders and manufacturers. Our service registers your GSTIN on the e-way bill portal, links transporter IDs, sets up sub-users for your dispatch team, and trains them on Part A and Part B, validity periods based on distance, extension of validity, and cancellation within twenty-four hours. We also configure bulk generation where volumes are high and guide you on documents the vehicle must carry, with WhatsApp support included for the first month.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
When an ADT-01 audit intimation or a personal hearing date arrives, we compile the records, prepare the reconciliations and draft the submissions, and coordinate closely with your authorised representative. You walk into the proceeding prepared, not improvising in front of an officer.
Goods sent to job workers must move on delivery challans, return within the statutory period, and be reported in ITC-04. We track every outward and return leg for manufacturing clients in Chennai, so inputs sent out for processing never quietly convert into a deemed supply carrying tax and interest.
You deal with one accountable person who knows your business, your turnover pattern and your filing history. No repeating your story to a new voice every month, and no file falling between two desks when a deadline is approaching.
We work with Chennai GST ranges and circles every week, including the jurisdiction covering Chennai. We know how local proper officers examine registrations, what supporting documents they routinely call for, and how to present a file so it moves without repeated queries.
From filing the LUT in RFD-11 at the start of each financial year to preparing RFD-01 refund claims with complete annexures, we know what makes a refund file move. Exporters and inverted-duty businesses come to us specifically for this.
E-invoicing is mandatory once turnover crosses Rs.5 crore and e-way bills apply to goods movements above Rs.50,000. We set up, train and troubleshoot both systems, so your despatches from Chennai are never held up by a compliance gap at the gate.
We register your GSTIN on the e-way bill portal using the OTP sent to your registered mobile, and set secure login credentials for your business.
Products with HSN codes, regular customers, suppliers and transporters are added as masters so daily e-way bill generation takes minutes rather than repeated data entry.
Your dispatch staff learn to fill Part A and Part B, compute validity by distance, extend validity when transit is delayed, and cancel bills within twenty-four hours.
We give you a simple checklist covering when an e-way bill is needed, exemptions, documents the driver must carry, and what to do at an interception.
For the first month we remain available on WhatsApp for generation help, rejected entries and practical situations like vehicle breakdown or transhipment en route.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Same day to 1 working day · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Late-fee waivers and amnesty windows notified by the GST Council are applied to your history within their deadlines, capturing reliefs that most businesses only hear about once the window has already closed.
Statutory windows such as thirty days for an ASMT-11 reply are tracked from the day a notice arrives, so responses go in on time, complete, and with your best case properly presented.
Rates, reverse charge, place of supply and blocked credits are applied correctly at the preparation stage, so you neither overpay tax you do not owe nor underpay and invite demands with penalty later.
We spot suppliers who stop uploading invoices or filing returns and alert you before their default becomes your blocked credit, letting you recover amounts or switch vendors while the exposure is still small.
When a business winds up, proper cancellation and a timely final return ensure the file is genuinely closed, so no demand or late-fee computation resurfaces against you long after the shutters came down.
Correct e-way bills matched to correct invoices mean your consignments clear roadside inspections cleanly, avoiding detention proceedings whose penalties can far exceed the tax on the goods being carried.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
| Registration and amendments | Query-resistant applications prepared correctly the first time, with supporting documents matched to what proper officers actually verify. | Repeated clarification memos and resubmissions, with weeks lost because a rent agreement or premises photograph did not meet expectations. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
| Portal credentials and data | Logins handled by a small engaged team under strict confidentiality, with credentials stored securely and never passed onward. | Passwords circulating on chats with freelancers and part-timers, and no accountability for who has accessed your business data. |
Selected notifications, Council decisions and court rulings that practising consultants are applying to live cases.
34th GST Council Meeting (video conferencing) — 19 March 2019 · 2019-03-19
The Council gave promoters a one-time option to continue paying tax at the old effective rates of eight or twelve per cent with input tax credit on ongoing projects, meaning buildings where both construction and actual booking had started before 1 April 2019 and which were not completed by 31 March 2019. The option had to be exercised once within a prescribed time frame, failing which the new rates applied automatically. Credit for projects moving across was to be transitioned pro rata.
How we apply it: Chennai builders who did not formally exercise the option in 2019 are on the one and five per cent no-credit rates, and any credit claimed since then is exposed to reversal.
Notification No. 9/2025-Central Tax (Rate), dated 17 September 2025, Schedule II, heading 2523 · 2025-09-17
Portland cement, aluminous cement, slag cement, super sulphate cement and similar hydraulic cements, whether or not coloured or in the form of clinkers, appear in Schedule II at nine per cent central tax, giving a combined eighteen per cent from 22 September 2025. Cement had carried twenty-eight per cent since 2017 and was the single largest tax input in construction. Marble, granite and most other building materials also sit at eighteen per cent in the same schedule.
How we apply it: Builders and hardware dealers in Chennai must bill cement at eighteen per cent and should have revisited running contracts and price lists from 22 September 2025.
GSTN/NIC Advisory, December 2024 — mandatory MFA on e-way bill and e-invoice systems · 2024-12
GSTN and NIC advised that multi-factor authentication using OTP over registered mobile, Sandes app or similar becomes mandatory for the e-way bill and e-invoice portals in phases: from 1 January 2025 for taxpayers with turnover above Rs 20 crore, from 1 February 2025 above Rs 5 crore, and from 1 April 2025 for all users. Businesses were told to update registered mobile numbers and activate MFA for all sub-users in advance.
What it means for you: Register current mobile numbers for every e-way bill sub-user and enable MFA before dispatch operations get locked out.
