Our consultants provide GST Notice Reply to businesses across Adambakkam starting at Rs.2,999. Every file is reconciled and senior-reviewed before submission, which is why our clients see far fewer departmental queries than they did while self-filing.
We serve businesses on and around Brindavan Nagar Main Road — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
GST does not distinguish between a large showroom and a small service unit — the due dates and matching systems apply equally to both. Adambakkam packs hardware, sanitaryware, electrical and provision trade into New Colony Main Road, Brindavan Nagar Main Road, Kakkan Nagar Main Road and Income Tax Main Road, with the Inner Ring Road and Velachery Main Road carrying goods towards Guindy and Ekkattuthangal. Job-work units and works-contract sub-contractors around the TNHB Colony and Dandeeswaram belt misjudge the twelve against eighteen per cent job-work rate and lose credit on delivery-challan movements. That is why our GST Notice Reply engagements in Adambakkam follow the same discipline whatever the client's size: written checklists, reconciliation before filing and every acknowledgement archived. Businesses from Nanganallur and Ullagaram run on the same process, entirely over WhatsApp if they prefer.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
Your cash ledger, credit ledger and liability register are reviewed regularly, not just at filing time. Excess balances are flagged for use or refund, and where a genuine slip surfaces, a voluntary payment through DRC-03 settles it before it can mature into a notice.
Traders, manufacturers, contractors, e-commerce sellers, professionals and service exporters — we have handled GST for all of them. Whatever mix of goods and services your Adambakkam business supplies, the rate, classification and place-of-supply questions have almost certainly crossed our desk before.
E-invoicing is mandatory once turnover crosses Rs.5 crore and e-way bills apply to goods movements above Rs.50,000. We set up, train and troubleshoot both systems, so your despatches from Adambakkam are never held up by a compliance gap at the gate.
Composition dealers have their own rulebook — CMP-08 every quarter, GSTR-4 annually by 30 June, bills of supply instead of tax invoices, and a turnover ceiling that must be watched. We handle each of these correctly so the scheme's simplicity never turns into a violation.
We are a Chennai firm with a physical office, not a faceless portal. If you prefer to sit across a table with your papers, you are welcome. Clients from Adambakkam regularly visit us for registrations, notice discussions and annual return reviews.
The annual return and, where turnover crosses Rs.5 crore, the self-certified reconciliation statement in GSTR-9C are prepared by the same team that filed your monthly returns. Nothing about your year has to be rediscovered or explained to a stranger in December.
We read the notice line by line, identify the section invoked, the periods covered, the exact information sought and the deadline for response.
The figures alleged in the notice are reconciled against your filed returns, GSTR-2B and books, so the reply is grounded in verifiable numbers rather than assertions.
We draft a professional, point-wise reply addressing every allegation, attaching reconciliations, invoices and legal support, and share the draft with you for approval.
The approved reply is filed on the portal within the deadline. Where a small genuine liability exists, we advise payment through DRC-03 to limit interest and penalty.
We monitor the portal for the officer's response, attend to any further queries or hearing dates, and pursue the matter until a closure or order is received.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Draft reply in 3-5 working days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Filed returns, challans, reconciliations and working papers are archived in order from day one. If an audit or departmental verification comes, your file is ready the same week, not assembled in a panic.
Your scheme choice — regular, composition or QRMP — is re-examined as turnover and margins change, so you are always paying under the structure that legitimately costs your business the least.
Late-fee waivers and amnesty windows notified by the GST Council are applied to your history within their deadlines, capturing reliefs that most businesses only hear about once the window has already closed.
When GST knowledge lives inside a single staff member, their resignation becomes a compliance crisis. With our firm as the standing process, your filings continue uninterrupted regardless of internal staff changes.
Excess balances parked in the electronic cash ledger are identified during regular ledger reviews and either utilised against upcoming liability or claimed back as a refund, instead of sitting interest-free with the government.
Getting IGST versus CGST and SGST right at the invoice stage spares you the painful cycle of paying the correct head again and pursuing a refund of the amount paid under the wrong one.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Goods in transit | E-way bills generated correctly and matched to invoices, so consignments pass roadside inspections without detention or penalty. | A defective or missing e-way bill can mean detention at a checkpoint, with penalties that dwarf the tax on the consignment. |
| Risk of notices | GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciled before filing, removing the mismatches that trigger most scrutiny notices. | Inconsistent figures across returns quietly build a mismatch history that surfaces later as ASMT-10 scrutiny or a demand notice. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
Brindavan Nagar Main Road is a main connecting road in Adambakkam, about 450 m west of the centre of Adambakkam. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — 4th Main Road (about 150 m); 10th Street (about 250 m); Income Tax Main Road (about 250 m); 1st Cross Road (about 250 m) — so a site visit on Brindavan Nagar Main Road can usually be combined with other work in Adambakkam on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Brindavan Nagar Main Road falls under the Chennai South CGST Commissionerate, and the Adambakkam pincode is 600088.

M/s. Jeyyam Global Foods (P) Ltd v. Union of India — Madras High Court (Madurai Bench), W.P.(MD) No. 937 of 2019, decided 23 January 2019 (G.R. Swaminathan J.) · 2019-01-23
Goods were detained because the squad officer disagreed with the HSN classification and rate adopted by the consignor. The Madras High Court quashed the detention, holding that a squad officer may intercept goods and prepare the record but cannot finally decide questions of classification or rate, which belong to the jurisdictional assessing officer. The Court directed the Commissioner of Commercial Taxes to instruct squad officers not to detain goods where there is a bona fide dispute about exigibility or rate of tax.
Why this matters: If your consignment is detained purely because an officer prefers a different HSN code or rate, that dispute belongs before your assessing officer, not at the roadside.
Circular No. 224/18/2024-GST · 2024-07-11
Because the GST Appellate Tribunal was not yet operational, CBIC directed that taxpayers who lost their first appeal could pay the additional pre-deposit required for a Tribunal appeal through the electronic liability register and file an undertaking to appeal once the Tribunal starts functioning. On doing so, recovery of the balance confirmed demand stands stayed under Section 112(9). Officers were told not to coerce full payment merely because the appellate forum was unavailable.
How we apply it: After an unfavourable first-appeal order, paying the ten per cent Tribunal pre-deposit with an undertaking legally halts recovery until GSTAT hears the case.
Notification No. 63/2020-Central Tax · 2020-08-25
This notification brought into force, with effect from 1 September 2020, the amendment to Section 50 of the CGST Act made by the Finance (No. 2) Act, 2019. The amendment provides that where a return is filed late, interest is charged only on that portion of the tax liability which is discharged in cash through the electronic cash ledger, and not on the part settled from input tax credit. Because it was made effective only prospectively, it caused considerable litigation over earlier periods.
What to do about it: For any delayed GSTR-3B, interest should be computed on the cash component alone, and a gross-liability interest demand should be challenged.

Upload the PDF to our free GST Notice Analyser. It identifies which of 34 notice types you have, pulls out the DIN, GSTIN and tax period, reads the reply date printed on the notice and tells you plainly whether that date has already passed — along with the documents and reconciliations you will need. No payment, no account. If the notice does not state a date we can read, it says so rather than guessing one for you.

The analyser reports what your notice says and the statutory position for that form. It is not a substitute for a consultant reading your actual records, and a reply should be reviewed before you file it.
