Mandaveli is a dense middle-class trading strip along R.K. Mutt Road, where provision stores, sweet stalls, silk and readymade shops, banks and the MTC bus terminus serve Mylapore's southern flank, with the Mandaveli Market feeding daily vegetable trade. Most shops are family-run B2C businesses hovering near the Rs.40 lakh goods threshold, so registration timing, composition scheme choice and GSTR-3B late fees dominate consultations. Years of working in and around Mandaveli have shown us where GST trouble actually begins here — supplier defaults, classification doubts and deadlines lost in busy trading weeks. Our GST for E-Commerce Sellers is built to close precisely those gaps, and the same team supports businesses in Mylapore and Raja Annamalaipuram, each with one point of contact and a compliance calendar maintained on their behalf.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
We work with Chennai GST ranges and circles every week, including the jurisdiction covering Mandaveli. We know how local proper officers examine registrations, what supporting documents they routinely call for, and how to present a file so it moves without repeated queries.
Businesses with registrations in more than one State, or multiple branches under one PAN, face cross-charge, stock transfer and input service distribution questions that single-GSTIN firms never see. We keep all your registrations consistent with each other, not just compliant individually.
We are a Chennai firm with a physical office, not a faceless portal. If you prefer to sit across a table with your papers, you are welcome. Clients from Mandaveli regularly visit us for registrations, notice discussions and annual return reviews.
GSTR-3B late fees run at Rs.50 per day and interest at 18 percent per annum on unpaid tax. Our internal cut-offs sit days ahead of statutory due dates precisely so that our clients never hand the department a rupee they did not owe.
Tally, Zoho Books, Busy, marketplace reports, plain Excel or even a handwritten bill book — we take your data in whatever form your Mandaveli business already maintains it. You are never forced to buy new software or retrain staff just to become our client.
You deal with one accountable person who knows your business, your turnover pattern and your filing history. No repeating your story to a new voice every month, and no file falling between two desks when a deadline is approaching.
Each month we collect sales, settlement and returns reports from every marketplace you sell on, plus purchase bills and marketplace commission invoices.
Marketplace data is converted into GST-ready figures: state-wise B2C supplies by place of supply, B2B invoices where applicable, and credit notes for customer returns.
GSTR-1 is filed by the 11th and GSTR-3B by the 20th, with input tax credit on commissions, shipping and inventory purchases reconciled against GSTR-2B.
TCS reported by operators in GSTR-8 is accepted on the portal, matched against your sales, and differences are traced to returns, cancellations or timing.
You receive a seller compliance summary covering sales by state, tax paid, TCS credits claimed and pending mismatches, with alerts on any new marketplace requirement.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.

Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Where a genuine error is found in a past period, voluntary payment through DRC-03 before any notice issues closes the matter at minimal cost, instead of letting it ripen into a demand with penalty.
Rates, reverse charge, place of supply and blocked credits are applied correctly at the preparation stage, so you neither overpay tax you do not owe nor underpay and invite demands with penalty later.
Continuous filing protects you from the suspension and cancellation proceedings that hit chronic non-filers, so your registration, e-way bill access and ability to issue tax invoices are never suddenly cut off.
The hours you or your accountant spent wrestling with the portal, JSON errors and reconciliations every month return to sales, operations and customers, while trained hands manage the compliance in the background.
New branches, new product lines and interstate sales all carry GST consequences. With standing professional support, you expand knowing registrations, invoicing and returns will keep pace with the business.
With returns filed ahead of the statutory due dates every period, the Rs.50-per-day GSTR-3B late fee simply stops appearing in your life, and the money stays in your business where it belongs.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
| Goods in transit | E-way bills generated correctly and matched to invoices, so consignments pass roadside inspections without detention or penalty. | A defective or missing e-way bill can mean detention at a checkpoint, with penalties that dwarf the tax on the consignment. |
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |

GSTN Advisory, January 2024 — introduction of Tables 14 and 15 in GSTR-1 and the Invoice Furnishing Facility · 2024-01
From the January 2024 tax period, GSTR-1 and the Invoice Furnishing Facility carry two additional tables. Table 14 is filed by the seller and splits supplies made through an e-commerce operator between those on which the operator collects tax at source under Section 52 and those on which the operator itself pays tax under Section 9(5). Table 15 is filed by the e-commerce operator for supplies on which it discharges the tax under Section 9(5).
How we apply it: Sellers on marketplaces must map each order to the correct table, because mismatches here drive notices on tax collected at source credit.
Notification No. 9/2025-Central Tax (Rate), dated 17 September 2025, Schedule I, Chapters 4 to 21 · 2025-09-17
Schedule I places butter, ghee and other dairy fats, cheese, condensed and concentrated milk, yoghurt, pre-packaged and labelled curd, lassi and buttermilk, natural honey, roasted coffee, pasta and seviyan, namkeens, bhujia and mixture, ice cream and other edible ice, biscuits, sauces and most processed foods at five per cent. Chena and paneer, ultra-high temperature milk and Indian breads are fully exempt under the companion exemption notification, so the food chain now runs at either nil or five per cent.
How we apply it: Supermarkets and food distributors in Chennai should be charging five per cent or nil on almost their entire grocery range from 22 September 2025.
Jindal Stainless Ltd v. State of Haryana — Supreme Court, nine-judge Bench, (2017) 12 SCC 1, judgment dated 11-11-2016 · 2016-11-11
The Supreme Court held that a tax is not per se a restriction on the freedom of trade and commerce guaranteed by Article 301 of the Constitution. Only a discriminatory tax that favours local goods over goods from other States is hit. The judicially created concept of compensatory tax was discarded as having no constitutional basis. State entry tax laws were largely upheld, subject to the test of discrimination.
How we apply it: Chennai businesses challenging a State levy must show actual discrimination against outside goods, not merely that the levy burdens interstate trade.
