The 11th and the 20th arrive every month whether you are ready or not. Our Chennai team keeps businesses in Ponneri permanently ahead of both, delivering E-Way Bill Registration & Support from Rs.999 with reconciliation, senior review and WhatsApp acknowledgements as standard.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Ponneri is the taluk headquarters north of the Arani river, its trade running along the Thiruvottriyur-Ponneri-Panchetty Road and the Chennai-Pulicat Road, where paddy and grain wholesalers, fertiliser dealers and cement merchants serve villages up to Gummidipoondi alongside the Nelcast foundry and the Dr MGR Fisheries College. Grain traders here need clarity on unbranded versus pre-packaged supplies, and on reverse charge for goods transport agency freight. Years of working in and around Ponneri have shown us where GST trouble actually begins here — supplier defaults, classification doubts and deadlines lost in busy trading weeks. Our E-Way Bill Registration & Support is built to close precisely those gaps, and the same team supports businesses in Minjur and Panjetti, each with one point of contact and a compliance calendar maintained on their behalf.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
We tell you when the composition scheme stops making sense, when QRMP suits your cash flow, and when a supplier's non-compliance is quietly costing you credit. Filing is the minimum; helping you make better GST decisions is the actual job.
A new GSTIN comes with obligations nobody explains at approval — the invoice series rules, displaying the registration certificate and GSTIN at your premises, and the first return cycle. We walk new registrants in Ponneri through each of these so month one starts correctly.
We match your purchase register against GSTR-2B every period, follow up on invoices your suppliers have not uploaded, and ensure every rupee of eligible input tax credit is claimed. Clients routinely recover credit they were silently losing under self-filing.
GSTR-1 by the 11th, GSTR-3B by the 20th, CMP-08 by the 18th after each quarter — we maintain a compliance calendar for every client and start chasing your data well before the due date, so late fees never enter the picture.
E-invoicing is mandatory once turnover crosses Rs.5 crore and e-way bills apply to goods movements above Rs.50,000. We set up, train and troubleshoot both systems, so your despatches from Ponneri are never held up by a compliance gap at the gate.
Winding up attracts its own GST obligations — the cancellation application, reversal of credit on closing stock, and the final return in GSTR-10 within three months. We close registrations properly so a business you shut in Ponneri never writes back to you as a demand years later.
We register your GSTIN on the e-way bill portal using the OTP sent to your registered mobile, and set secure login credentials for your business.
Products with HSN codes, regular customers, suppliers and transporters are added as masters so daily e-way bill generation takes minutes rather than repeated data entry.
Your dispatch staff learn to fill Part A and Part B, compute validity by distance, extend validity when transit is delayed, and cancel bills within twenty-four hours.
We give you a simple checklist covering when an e-way bill is needed, exemptions, documents the driver must carry, and what to do at an interception.
For the first month we remain available on WhatsApp for generation help, rejected entries and practical situations like vehicle breakdown or transhipment en route.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Same day to 1 working day · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Correct, complete tax invoices signal a well-run business to customers, vendors and banks alike, quietly strengthening your credibility in every transaction where your paperwork is seen.
Your billing staff are guided on invoice fields, rates and series discipline, so mistakes are prevented where they originate — at the counter — instead of being repaired later in the returns.
Whether moving between composition and regular scheme, opting into QRMP, or crossing the e-invoice threshold at Rs.5 crore, transitions are planned in advance rather than discovered after a compliance breach.
Filed returns, challans, reconciliations and working papers are archived in order from day one. If an audit or departmental verification comes, your file is ready the same week, not assembled in a panic.
Each period you receive a simple computation showing output tax, credit utilised and net cash payable, so GST becomes a number you understand and question rather than a figure you accept blindly.
A fixed professional fee is almost always cheaper than the combination of late fees, interest, lost credit and staff hours that informal, last-minute compliance quietly accumulates over a year.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
| Registration and amendments | Query-resistant applications prepared correctly the first time, with supporting documents matched to what proper officers actually verify. | Repeated clarification memos and resubmissions, with weeks lost because a rent agreement or premises photograph did not meet expectations. |
| Risk of notices | GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciled before filing, removing the mismatches that trigger most scrutiny notices. | Inconsistent figures across returns quietly build a mismatch history that surfaces later as ASMT-10 scrutiny or a demand notice. |
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
| Portal credentials and data | Logins handled by a small engaged team under strict confidentiality, with credentials stored securely and never passed onward. | Passwords circulating on chats with freelancers and part-timers, and no accountability for who has accessed your business data. |
A working knowledge of recent instruments and judgments is what separates a defensible filing from a risky one.
Circular No. 245/02/2025-GST · 2025-01-28
Implementing 55th GST Council decisions, CBIC clarified that penal charges levied by banks and NBFCs for breach of loan terms, which replaced penal interest per RBI directions, are not consideration for any service and attract no GST. It also clarified that RBI-regulated payment aggregators are covered by the exemption for settlement of transactions up to Rs 2,000, and addressed other service-tax positions, regularising past periods on an as-is basis.
Practical effect: Borrowers should not accept GST charged on penal charges by lenders, and merchants using payment aggregators get relief on small-ticket settlement charges.
GSTN/NIC Advisory, December 2024 — e-way bill document date and extension limits · 2024-12
From 1 January 2025, the e-way bill system does not permit generation of an e-way bill against a base document, such as an invoice, that is more than 180 days old on the date of generation. In addition, the total validity of an e-way bill, including all extensions, is capped at 360 days from its original generation date. The change curbs misuse of stale invoices for movement of goods.
What to do about it: Plan dispatches so invoices are used for movement well within 180 days, and monitor long-haul consignments against the 360-day extension cap.
Rotary Club of Mumbai Queens Necklace — AAAR Maharashtra (2019), on appeal from AAR Maharashtra, Advance Ruling No. GST-ARA-118/2018-19 · 2019
The club collected membership subscriptions and admission fees which were spent on meetings, administration and communication, with no facility or benefit supplied to members in return. The Maharashtra Appellate Authority for Advance Ruling held that the collections merely defray shared expenses, that there is no supply of goods or services to members, and that the amounts are therefore not consideration liable to tax.
Why this matters: Chennai associations should note that Section 7(1)(aa), inserted with retrospective effect from 1 July 2017, now treats club to member supplies as taxable, so this reasoning no longer holds.
