Late fees, blocked credit and mismatch notices cost far more than professional help ever will. We complete New GST Registration for Gopalapuram businesses from Rs.1,499, matching every figure against portal data before anything reaches the department.
We serve businesses on and around 5th Street — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Gopalapuram is an old-money residential quarter between Cathedral Road and Avvai Shanmugam Salai, known for the DAV school cluster, the Music Academy corner and professional offices, clinics and coaching academies on Conron Smith Road and Peters Road. Landlords letting shopfronts and office floors here must charge 18 per cent GST on commercial rent, and consultants crossing Rs.20 lakh in fees discover registration obligations late. Against that backdrop, New GST Registration in Gopalapuram demands more than data entry — it needs reconciliation before filing, correct classification and awareness of what local officers examine. Our Chennai team provides exactly that to clients in Gopalapuram, Royapettah and Teynampet, with same-day responses on working days and WhatsApp updates at every stage. Most routine engagements complete within one to two working days once documents are in hand.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
You are told the full fee before we begin, in writing. No surprise additions for uploads, revisions or acknowledgements. Government fees and taxes, where applicable, are shown separately, so businesses in Gopalapuram always know exactly what the engagement costs them.
Every new client receives a review of their recent returns before we file anything — unclaimed credit, GSTR-1 versus GSTR-3B drift, and exposures worth correcting quietly. Businesses in Gopalapuram often discover in this first review exactly why their previous arrangement was costing them money.
Tally, Zoho Books, Busy, marketplace reports, plain Excel or even a handwritten bill book — we take your data in whatever form your Gopalapuram business already maintains it. You are never forced to buy new software or retrain staff just to become our client.
GST is confusing enough without a language barrier. Our team explains notices, tax positions and filing requirements in plain Tamil or English, whichever you and your staff in Gopalapuram are comfortable with, and keeps written communication simple and jargon-free.
A new GSTIN comes with obligations nobody explains at approval — the invoice series rules, displaying the registration certificate and GSTIN at your premises, and the first return cycle. We walk new registrants in Gopalapuram through each of these so month one starts correctly.
GSTR-1 by the 11th, GSTR-3B by the 20th, CMP-08 by the 18th after each quarter — we maintain a compliance calendar for every client and start chasing your data well before the due date, so late fees never enter the picture.
You share PAN, Aadhaar, photographs, address proof and bank details over WhatsApp or email. We review each document against portal requirements and flag anything that could trigger an officer query.
We draft Form GST REG-01 with the correct business constitution, principal place of business, HSN or SAC codes and authorised signatory details, then share a summary for your confirmation.
The application is filed on the GST portal and we guide the authorised signatory through Aadhaar OTP authentication, which speeds up approval and usually avoids physical verification of premises.
We track the ARN daily. If the officer issues a notice in Form REG-03 seeking clarification, we draft and file the reply in Form REG-04 within the permitted time.
Once approved, we download your registration certificate in Form REG-06, help set up portal login credentials, and brief you on invoice format, return due dates and e-way bill obligations.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: 3-7 working days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Continuous filing protects you from the suspension and cancellation proceedings that hit chronic non-filers, so your registration, e-way bill access and ability to issue tax invoices are never suddenly cut off.
Because monthly data is reconciled as it happens, GSTR-9 preparation before the 31 December due date becomes a review exercise rather than a painful reconstruction of twelve untidy months.
The 11th and the 20th stop being days of dread. You approve a prepared draft, we file, and the acknowledgement lands on your WhatsApp — month after month, without drama.
You know your expected GST outflow days before the 20th, not on the night of filing. That advance visibility lets you plan payments, collections and bank balances instead of scrambling for funds at the deadline.
Because turnover in your GST returns is kept aligned with your accounts through the year, income tax filing and statutory audit proceed without the GST-versus-books mismatch queries that now surface routinely through data matching.
Correct, complete tax invoices signal a well-run business to customers, vendors and banks alike, quietly strengthening your credibility in every transaction where your paperwork is seen.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
5th Street is a residential street in Gopalapuram, about 300 m south-west of the centre of Gopalapuram. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — 7th Street (about 50 m); Gopalapuram 1st Street (about 50 m); 4th Street (about 100 m); 6th Street (about 150 m) — so a site visit on 5th Street can usually be combined with other work in Gopalapuram on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on 5th Street falls under the Chennai North CGST Commissionerate, and the Gopalapuram pincode is 600086.

Thai Mookambikaa Ladies Hostel v. Union of India — Madras High Court, W.P. No. 28486 of 2023, judgment dated 22 March 2024 (reversing the Tamil Nadu AAR) · 2024-03-22
The Tamil Nadu AAR held that hostel accommodation provided to college students and working women is not renting of a residential dwelling for use as residence, so the exemption did not apply and GST was payable. On writ, the Madras High Court reversed that view on 22 March 2024, holding that hostel rooms occupied by girl students and working women as their residence qualify for the exemption for renting of residential dwelling under Entry 12 of Notification No. 12/2017-Central Tax (Rate), and observing that the legislature never intended to burden such occupants with tax.
Practical effect: Hostel and PG operators in Tamil Nadu can rely on the Madras High Court ruling for exemption, but should document residential use of every room.
Notification No. 25/2024-Central Tax · 2024-10-09
From 10 October 2024, any registered person purchasing metal scrap falling under Chapters 72 to 81 of the Customs Tariff from another registered person must deduct GST TDS at 2 per cent under Section 51 where the value of the individual supply under the contract exceeds Rs 2.5 lakh, and must register separately as a deductor if not already registered for TDS. This extended a mechanism previously confined largely to government deductors into a private industry, targeting chronic evasion in the scrap trade.
What it means for you: Scrap dealers and foundries buying registered-dealer scrap must take TDS registration, deduct 2 per cent and file GSTR-7, while sellers should reconcile and claim the deducted credit.
CBIC Instruction No. 03/2025-GST · 2025-04-17
Responding to widespread complaints about arbitrary queries, CBIC directed registration officers to seek only the documents listed in Form GST REG-01. For rented premises a valid rent agreement with the owner's ownership proof suffices; for owned premises any one ownership document is enough; no-objection certificates suffice for consent premises. Officers must not demand physical originals, question the applicant's residential address or business activity, or raise presumptive queries, and any query must be specific and approved by the Deputy or Assistant Commissioner.
What to do about it: If a registration query asks for documents outside the prescribed list, cite this instruction in your REG-04 reply and escalate to the jurisdictional Commissioner if it persists.
