Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Maraimalai Nagar is a CMDA-planned satellite township on GST Road whose industrial belt, anchored by the Ford plant campus (now retooled for engine exports) and the adjoining Mahindra World City, feeds work to auto ancillary vendors, fabricators and manpower contractors, while hostels and mess kitchens serve SRM University students from Potheri. Vendor units crossing Rs.5 crore turnover must issue e-invoices, and constant job work movements demand disciplined ITC-04 and delivery challan records. When businesses of this kind evaluate Departmental Audit Support, the real question is not price alone but who answers when something goes wrong. We serve Maraimalai Nagar, Guduvancheri and Kattankulathur on a standing commitment: responses within the same working day, senior scrutiny before every submission, and continued support if the department ever writes back on work carrying our preparation.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
Send your query on call or WhatsApp and you hear back the same working day, usually within a few hours. When a due date is close or a notice has landed, waiting two days for a reply is simply not acceptable, and we know it.
Goods sent to job workers must move on delivery challans, return within the statutory period, and be reported in ITC-04. We track every outward and return leg for manufacturing clients in Maraimalai Nagar, so inputs sent out for processing never quietly convert into a deemed supply carrying tax and interest.
In the days before the 11th and the 20th, our team runs extended hours and a strict internal queue, so a client who sends data late in the window is still filed on time. Peak-season crush at our end never becomes a late fee at yours.
GST is confusing enough without a language barrier. Our team explains notices, tax positions and filing requirements in plain Tamil or English, whichever you and your staff in Maraimalai Nagar are comfortable with, and keeps written communication simple and jargon-free.
E-invoicing is mandatory once turnover crosses Rs.5 crore and e-way bills apply to goods movements above Rs.50,000. We set up, train and troubleshoot both systems, so your despatches from Maraimalai Nagar are never held up by a compliance gap at the gate.
Quarterly filing still demands monthly attention — IFF uploads so your buyers see their credit on time, and tax payment through PMT-06 by the 25th for the first two months of each quarter. We run that monthly rhythm so QRMP saves you effort without creating gaps.
We study ADT-01 and its annexure, agree a records timetable with the audit officer where needed, and plan the engagement around the periods selected.
Before the team arrives we reconcile turnover, tax and ITC for every audit year, identifying weak areas and preparing explanations and supporting papers in advance.
Documents are compiled, indexed and submitted in an organised form, which shortens verification and signals that the taxpayer's records are dependable.
Each audit enquiry and observation memo receives a written, evidence-backed reply, and we discuss contentious points with the audit team before findings are finalised.
We review ADT-02, arrange DRC-03 payment for accepted points to limit penalty, and prepare the defence file for any finding likely to become a demand notice.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Engagement runs through the audit, typically 1-3 months · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Filed returns, challans, reconciliations and working papers are archived in order from day one. If an audit or departmental verification comes, your file is ready the same week, not assembled in a panic.
Loan applications and government tenders routinely demand GST returns and registration documents. With everything filed and archived properly, you can produce a complete compliance file within hours instead of days.
Rates, reverse charge, place of supply and blocked credits are applied correctly at the preparation stage, so you neither overpay tax you do not owe nor underpay and invite demands with penalty later.
When a query or verification comes, you respond through a professional who deals with the department regularly, in the department's own language and format, instead of facing an officer's letter alone.
The 11th and the 20th stop being days of dread. You approve a prepared draft, we file, and the acknowledgement lands on your WhatsApp — month after month, without drama.
We spot suppliers who stop uploading invoices or filing returns and alert you before their default becomes your blocked credit, letting you recover amounts or switch vendors while the exposure is still small.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |
| Registration and amendments | Query-resistant applications prepared correctly the first time, with supporting documents matched to what proper officers actually verify. | Repeated clarification memos and resubmissions, with weeks lost because a rent agreement or premises photograph did not meet expectations. |
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
| Goods in transit | E-way bills generated correctly and matched to invoices, so consignments pass roadside inspections without detention or penalty. | A defective or missing e-way bill can mean detention at a checkpoint, with penalties that dwarf the tax on the consignment. |
GST law moves through notifications, circulars and court decisions. These are the ones changing how filings are prepared right now.
GSTN Advisory dated 24 September 2024 — archival of GST returns data older than seven years · 2024-09-24
GSTN advised that return data on the common portal is retained for seven years only, after which it is archived and no longer available for viewing or download. Archival started with the earliest tax periods of 2017-18 and proceeds month by month, so one further month of data drops off the portal every month. Taxpayers were advised to download and preserve their returns and supporting data before the archival date for each period.
Practical effect: Download and store PDF and JSON copies of every GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-9 filed since 2017, because archived returns cannot be retrieved from the portal during an audit or appeal.
Circular No. 206/18/2023-GST · 2023-10-31
The Board answered a set of service taxability questions arising from the 52nd GST Council meeting. Among them, it confirmed that District Mineral Foundation Trusts set up by State Governments qualify as Governmental Authorities and are therefore eligible for the exemptions available to such authorities. Other classification and exemption questions on specified services were also settled, so that field formations across States adopt a uniform view rather than issuing conflicting demands.
How we apply it: Contractors in Tamil Nadu working for statutory trusts and authorities should verify the exemption position against this circular before quoting a GST-inclusive price.
Goodwill Industrial Canteen - AAR Tamil Nadu, Order No. TN/09/AAR/2018, dated 30 August 2018 · 2018-08-30
The applicant prepared food and served it in the canteens of client companies at their premises. It sought the rate applicable to this arrangement. The Authority held that the supply of food and beverages on the premises of an industrial undertaking was taxable at 18 percent up to 26 July 2018 and at 5 percent from 27 July 2018, when the restaurant service entry was amended to cover canteens at offices and factories, the concessional rate being available without input tax credit.
What it means for you: Chennai canteen contractors should bill factory and office canteens at 5 percent and forgo input tax credit on their purchases.

Upload the PDF to our free GST Notice Analyser. It identifies which of 34 notice types you have, pulls out the DIN, GSTIN and tax period, reads the reply date printed on the notice and tells you plainly whether that date has already passed — along with the documents and reconciliations you will need. No payment, no account. If the notice does not state a date we can read, it says so rather than guessing one for you.

The analyser reports what your notice says and the statutory position for that form. It is not a substitute for a consultant reading your actual records, and a reply should be reviewed before you file it.
