Whether you are a first-time registrant or an established trader, New GST Registration in Mangadu deserves a specialist rather than a side job. From Rs.1,499, our GST-focused Chennai practice runs the entire process on written checklists and senior-reviewed submissions.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
GST does not distinguish between a large showroom and a small service unit — the due dates and matching systems apply equally to both. Mangadu's economy revolves around the Kamakshi Amman temple: flower and garland sellers, pooja article shops, silk saree and jewellery showrooms and sweet stalls crowd Sannathi Street and the Mangadu-Kundrathur Road, with new apartment projects towards Paraniputhur. Traders mixing exempt fresh flowers with taxable garlands, prasadam counters and gold savings schemes must split exempt and taxable turnover correctly in GSTR-1. That is why our New GST Registration engagements in Mangadu follow the same discipline whatever the client's size: written checklists, reconciliation before filing and every acknowledgement archived. Businesses from Porur and Kundrathur run on the same process, entirely over WhatsApp if they prefer.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
Goods sent to job workers must move on delivery challans, return within the statutory period, and be reported in ITC-04. We track every outward and return leg for manufacturing clients in Mangadu, so inputs sent out for processing never quietly convert into a deemed supply carrying tax and interest.
Traders, manufacturers, contractors, e-commerce sellers, professionals and service exporters — we have handled GST for all of them. Whatever mix of goods and services your Mangadu business supplies, the rate, classification and place-of-supply questions have almost certainly crossed our desk before.
A new GSTIN comes with obligations nobody explains at approval — the invoice series rules, displaying the registration certificate and GSTIN at your premises, and the first return cycle. We walk new registrants in Mangadu through each of these so month one starts correctly.
Quarterly filing still demands monthly attention — IFF uploads so your buyers see their credit on time, and tax payment through PMT-06 by the 25th for the first two months of each quarter. We run that monthly rhythm so QRMP saves you effort without creating gaps.
You receive a WhatsApp message when documents are received, when the draft is ready for your approval, and when the return or application is filed, along with the acknowledgement. You never have to call and ask what is happening with your file.
Composition dealers have their own rulebook — CMP-08 every quarter, GSTR-4 annually by 30 June, bills of supply instead of tax invoices, and a turnover ceiling that must be watched. We handle each of these correctly so the scheme's simplicity never turns into a violation.
You share PAN, Aadhaar, photographs, address proof and bank details over WhatsApp or email. We review each document against portal requirements and flag anything that could trigger an officer query.
We draft Form GST REG-01 with the correct business constitution, principal place of business, HSN or SAC codes and authorised signatory details, then share a summary for your confirmation.
The application is filed on the GST portal and we guide the authorised signatory through Aadhaar OTP authentication, which speeds up approval and usually avoids physical verification of premises.
We track the ARN daily. If the officer issues a notice in Form REG-03 seeking clarification, we draft and file the reply in Form REG-04 within the permitted time.
Once approved, we download your registration certificate in Form REG-06, help set up portal login credentials, and brief you on invoice format, return due dates and e-way bill obligations.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.

Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Because monthly data is reconciled as it happens, GSTR-9 preparation before the 31 December due date becomes a review exercise rather than a painful reconstruction of twelve untidy months.
Getting IGST versus CGST and SGST right at the invoice stage spares you the painful cycle of paying the correct head again and pursuing a refund of the amount paid under the wrong one.
With the LUT filed at the start of each financial year and refund claims tracked to credit, exporters supply without blocking funds in IGST and recover accumulated credit on schedule.
Correct, complete tax invoices signal a well-run business to customers, vendors and banks alike, quietly strengthening your credibility in every transaction where your paperwork is seen.
The hours you or your accountant spent wrestling with the portal, JSON errors and reconciliations every month return to sales, operations and customers, while trained hands manage the compliance in the background.
Where a genuine error is found in a past period, voluntary payment through DRC-03 before any notice issues closes the matter at minimal cost, instead of letting it ripen into a demand with penalty.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| Portal credentials and data | Logins handled by a small engaged team under strict confidentiality, with credentials stored securely and never passed onward. | Passwords circulating on chats with freelancers and part-timers, and no accountability for who has accessed your business data. |
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
| Goods in transit | E-way bills generated correctly and matched to invoices, so consignments pass roadside inspections without detention or penalty. | A defective or missing e-way bill can mean detention at a checkpoint, with penalties that dwarf the tax on the consignment. |
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
Positions we rely on when preparing filings and drafting replies — with the exact citation, so you can verify each one.
Circular No. 178/10/2022-GST · 2022-08-03
This is the leading circular on the agreeing to tolerate an act entry. The Board held that liquidated damages paid for breach of contract are a flow of money compensating for injury, not consideration for any service, so no GST applies. The same reasoning covers notice pay recovered from employees, cheque dishonour charges, fines and penalties for violation of a contract or a law, and forfeiture of salary or bond amounts, unless there is a genuine independent agreement to tolerate an act. A late payment surcharge or fee is treated differently, as it is naturally bundled with the principal supply and forms part of its value.
What to do about it: Chennai employers and contractors should resist departmental demands on notice pay recovery and liquidated damages by citing this circular in the reply itself.
M/s. Caterpillar India (P) Ltd v. State Tax Officer — Madras High Court, W.P. Nos. 5075, 5076, 5078, 5081, 5128, 5185 and 5189 of 2019, decided 26 February 2019 (Anita Sumanth J.) · 2019-02-26
Consignments were detained because the e-way bills accompanying them had expired. The Court directed immediate release on furnishing a bank guarantee and, importantly, directed the assessing officer to consider whether the lapse was a substantive violation or only a technical breach, having regard to Sections 122, 125 and 126 of the CGST Act. Adjudication was to be completed within four weeks, with amounts already remitted by the transporter adjusted against the final determination.
Why this matters: A Chennai consignor whose goods are held for a stale e-way bill can seek release against security while pressing that Section 126 requires leniency for minor procedural lapses.
41st GST Council Meeting (video conferencing) — 27 August 2020 · 2020-08-27
The 41st meeting was convened with a single agenda item, GST compensation to states and union territories, after collections collapsed during the pandemic. The Centre placed before the Council two borrowing options for meeting the compensation shortfall for 2020-21: a special window facilitated by the Reserve Bank of India for the portion of the shortfall attributed to GST implementation itself, or market borrowing of the entire estimated shortfall by the states, in both cases serviced from future compensation cess collections. States were given a short period to convey their choice.
What it means for you: The borrowings arranged here are why compensation cess continued to be collected on cess goods long after the five-year compensation period ended in June 2022.
