Our consultants provide GST Notice Reply to businesses across ICF Colony starting at Rs.2,999. Every file is reconciled and senior-reviewed before submission, which is why our clients see far fewer departmental queries than they did while self-filing.
We serve businesses on and around Guruvappa Mestiri Street — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
ICF Colony grew around the Integral Coach Factory, and its economy stays railway facing: precision machine shops, sheet metal fabricators, electrical and painting contractors, uniform tailors and canteen contractors supplying the Shell and Furnishing divisions through Constable Road and Portious Road. Konnur High Road and New Avadi Road add provision stores and hardware, while Welcome Colony and the Officers Colony lanes house staff quarters and rented shops. Vendors here contend with Section 51 TDS deductions, works contract classification and GSTR-2B mismatches on railway purchase orders. When businesses of this kind evaluate GST Notice Reply, the real question is not price alone but who answers when something goes wrong. We serve ICF Colony, Villivakkam and Ayanavaram on a standing commitment: responses within the same working day, senior scrutiny before every submission, and continued support if the department ever writes back on work carrying our preparation.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
No filing leaves our desk on a junior's judgement alone. A senior GST practitioner reviews your figures, ITC claims and tax computation before submission, so errors are caught at our table and not by the department months later through a notice.
We tell you when the composition scheme stops making sense, when QRMP suits your cash flow, and when a supplier's non-compliance is quietly costing you credit. Filing is the minimum; helping you make better GST decisions is the actual job.
Freight paid to transporters, advocate fees, imported services and other notified supplies attract GST under reverse charge, with self-invoicing where the supplier is unregistered. We maintain a running RCM check every period, because this is the liability self-filers most consistently miss.
New GSTIN applications, core field amendments through REG-14, additional places of business — we prepare complete, query-resistant applications the first time. Clean paperwork is the difference between smooth approval and weeks lost answering clarification memos from the department.
GSTR-3B late fees run at Rs.50 per day and interest at 18 percent per annum on unpaid tax. Our internal cut-offs sit days ahead of statutory due dates precisely so that our clients never hand the department a rupee they did not owe.
Your sales figures, supplier lists and login credentials are handled only by our engaged team, stored securely and never shared with any third party. Many of our clients in ICF Colony compete with each other; complete confidentiality is a condition of our work.
We read the notice line by line, identify the section invoked, the periods covered, the exact information sought and the deadline for response.
The figures alleged in the notice are reconciled against your filed returns, GSTR-2B and books, so the reply is grounded in verifiable numbers rather than assertions.
We draft a professional, point-wise reply addressing every allegation, attaching reconciliations, invoices and legal support, and share the draft with you for approval.
The approved reply is filed on the portal within the deadline. Where a small genuine liability exists, we advise payment through DRC-03 to limit interest and penalty.
We monitor the portal for the officer's response, attend to any further queries or hearing dates, and pursue the matter until a closure or order is received.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Draft reply in 3-5 working days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Large buyers check vendor GST compliance before releasing payments and renewing contracts. A clean filing record with timely GSTR-1 uploads keeps your invoices reflecting in their GSTR-2B and your payments unblocked.
Each period you receive a simple computation showing output tax, credit utilised and net cash payable, so GST becomes a number you understand and question rather than a figure you accept blindly.
Whether moving between composition and regular scheme, opting into QRMP, or crossing the e-invoice threshold at Rs.5 crore, transitions are planned in advance rather than discovered after a compliance breach.
Complete RFD-01 applications with proper statements and annexures move through the system faster and attract fewer deficiency memos, which means export and inverted-duty refunds reach your bank account sooner.
When a query or verification comes, you respond through a professional who deals with the department regularly, in the department's own language and format, instead of facing an officer's letter alone.
Where a genuine error is found in a past period, voluntary payment through DRC-03 before any notice issues closes the matter at minimal cost, instead of letting it ripen into a demand with penalty.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
| Refund claims | RFD-01 filed with complete statements and annexures, tracked from ARN to bank credit, with any deficiency memo answered promptly. | Incomplete claims bounce back as deficiency memos while the refund sits unclaimed for months and working capital stays blocked. |
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
Guruvappa Mestiri Street is a residential street in ICF Colony, about 1.1 km east of the centre of ICF Colony. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — NMK Street (about 100 m); Elumalai Street (about 100 m); Thirumalai Raja Main Street (about 400 m); Officers Colony Road (about 550 m) — so a site visit on Guruvappa Mestiri Street can usually be combined with other work in ICF Colony on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Guruvappa Mestiri Street falls under the Chennai North CGST Commissionerate, and the ICF Colony pincode is 600038.
Road classification and position from OpenStreetMap; distances are straight-line and approximate. Jurisdiction must be confirmed on your own registration certificate.
We track every notification, circular and judgment that changes a filing position, so your returns and replies reflect the current law.
Notification No. 33/2021-Central Tax · 2021-08-29
The window for taking the benefit of the capped late fee on pending GSTR-3B returns for July 2017 to April 2021 was extended from 31 August 2021 to 30 November 2021. Response to the scheme had been strong but many taxpayers, particularly those whose registrations had been cancelled for non-filing, could not complete the exercise in three months. The extension was announced together with the extension of the revocation deadline so that the two reliefs could be used in sequence.
How we apply it: Returns for July 2017 to April 2021 filed up to 30 November 2021 attract only the capped fee, and any higher demand for those periods should be verified against the actual filing date.
Maharashtra State Power Generation Co Ltd — AAR Maharashtra, Order No. GST-ARA-15/2017/B-30, dated 8 May 2018 (upheld by AAAR) · 2018-05-08
The Maharashtra AAR held that liquidated damages recovered by MAHAGENCO from contractors for delayed completion of works are consideration for tolerating an act under Schedule II entry 5(e) of the CGST Act, classifiable under heading 9997 and taxable at 18 per cent. The AAAR upheld this view. The ruling drove years of demands on contract penalties, until CBIC Circular No. 178/10/2022-GST dated 3 August 2022 substantially narrowed the taxability of such recoveries by clarifying that genuine compensation for breach is not payment for tolerating an act.
What to do about it: Review old contracts where GST was paid or demanded on penalties and delay damages, as later clarifications may support refunds or defence against demands.
Circular No. 64/38/2018-GST dated 14 September 2018 · 2018-09-14
CBIC listed six situations that must not attract detention proceedings where both an invoice and an e-way bill accompany the goods: a spelling mistake in the consignor or consignee name where the GSTIN is correct, a wrong PIN code where the address is correct, an error in one or two digits of the document number, an error in the fourth or sixth digit of the HSN where the rate is right, and an error in the vehicle number. Penalty is only Rs 500 each under CGST and SGST in FORM GST DRC-07.
Why this matters: A typing slip in an e-way bill should cost Rs 1,000, not a section 129 demand of tax and penalty, and this circular is the first thing to quote in reply.

Upload the PDF to our free GST Notice Analyser. It identifies which of 34 notice types you have, pulls out the DIN, GSTIN and tax period, reads the reply date printed on the notice and tells you plainly whether that date has already passed — along with the documents and reconciliations you will need. No payment, no account. If the notice does not state a date we can read, it says so rather than guessing one for you.
