Our consultants provide New GST Registration to businesses across Kattupakkam starting at Rs.1,499. Every file is reconciled and senior-reviewed before submission, which is why our clients see far fewer departmental queries than they did while self-filing.
We serve businesses on and around 1st Cross Sreett — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
If you operate in Kattupakkam, GST deadlines arrive with the same force as anywhere in Chennai — GSTR-1 by the 11th, GSTR-3B by the 20th. Kattupakkam fronts Mount Poonamallee Road between Kumananchavadi and Karayanchavadi, with Audco Nagar and Astalakshmi Nagar behind Queen Victoria Road and the Poonamallee-Kundrathur-Pallavaram Road feeding godowns, timber depots and auto workshops. Hardware dealers, packers and movers, transport fleets, schools and hospital suppliers file from here. E-way bill mismatches on the old NH4 corridor, goods transport agency reverse charge and composition-to-regular transitions for traders crossing the turnover limit recur constantly. We provide New GST Registration to businesses across Kattupakkam and the adjoining Iyyappanthangal and Poonamallee localities, maintaining a compliance calendar for every client so due dates are met without last-minute panic, late fees or interest at 18 percent per annum.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
If your GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B start drifting apart, if a large supplier stops filing, or if your turnover approaches the e-invoice threshold, we flag it to you immediately. Early warnings from our side are cheaper than departmental letters later.
If a query, ASMT-10 scrutiny notice or DRC-01 arrives on a return we filed, we stand behind our work and help you draft the reply. You are not left alone with a departmental letter and a thirty-day clock ticking against you.
Goods sent to job workers must move on delivery challans, return within the statutory period, and be reported in ITC-04. We track every outward and return leg for manufacturing clients in Kattupakkam, so inputs sent out for processing never quietly convert into a deemed supply carrying tax and interest.
From filing the LUT in RFD-11 at the start of each financial year to preparing RFD-01 refund claims with complete annexures, we know what makes a refund file move. Exporters and inverted-duty businesses come to us specifically for this.
New GSTIN applications, core field amendments through REG-14, additional places of business — we prepare complete, query-resistant applications the first time. Clean paperwork is the difference between smooth approval and weeks lost answering clarification memos from the department.
A new GSTIN comes with obligations nobody explains at approval — the invoice series rules, displaying the registration certificate and GSTIN at your premises, and the first return cycle. We walk new registrants in Kattupakkam through each of these so month one starts correctly.
You share PAN, Aadhaar, photographs, address proof and bank details over WhatsApp or email. We review each document against portal requirements and flag anything that could trigger an officer query.
We draft Form GST REG-01 with the correct business constitution, principal place of business, HSN or SAC codes and authorised signatory details, then share a summary for your confirmation.
The application is filed on the GST portal and we guide the authorised signatory through Aadhaar OTP authentication, which speeds up approval and usually avoids physical verification of premises.
We track the ARN daily. If the officer issues a notice in Form REG-03 seeking clarification, we draft and file the reply in Form REG-04 within the permitted time.
Once approved, we download your registration certificate in Form REG-06, help set up portal login credentials, and brief you on invoice format, return due dates and e-way bill obligations.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: 3-7 working days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Advances received for services attract GST on receipt while advances for goods generally do not; applying this distinction correctly means you neither prepay tax unnecessarily nor omit a liability that surfaces later with interest.
E-commerce platforms continuously validate seller GSTINs and filing status. A consistently compliant registration keeps your listings active and settlements flowing, with no sudden suspension of your online sales channel.
Loan applications and government tenders routinely demand GST returns and registration documents. With everything filed and archived properly, you can produce a complete compliance file within hours instead of days.
Late-fee waivers and amnesty windows notified by the GST Council are applied to your history within their deadlines, capturing reliefs that most businesses only hear about once the window has already closed.
Complete RFD-01 applications with proper statements and annexures move through the system faster and attract fewer deficiency memos, which means export and inverted-duty refunds reach your bank account sooner.
Where a genuine error is found in a past period, voluntary payment through DRC-03 before any notice issues closes the matter at minimal cost, instead of letting it ripen into a demand with penalty.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Portal credentials and data | Logins handled by a small engaged team under strict confidentiality, with credentials stored securely and never passed onward. | Passwords circulating on chats with freelancers and part-timers, and no accountability for who has accessed your business data. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
1st Cross Sreett is a residential street in Kattupakkam, about 1.1 km north-east of the centre of Kattupakkam. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Pillaiyar Koil Street (about 100 m); Noombal Road (about 600 m); Mount - Poonamallee - Avadi Road (about 650 m); 1st Cross Street (about 650 m) — so a site visit on 1st Cross Sreett can usually be combined with other work in Kattupakkam on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on 1st Cross Sreett falls under the Chennai Outer CGST Commissionerate, and the Kattupakkam pincode is 600056.

GSTN Advisory dated 1 November 2025 — simplified registration scheme under Rule 14A · 2025-11-01
GSTN operationalised the optional simplified registration scheme under Rule 14A of the CGST Rules from 1 November 2025. Applicants whose self-assessed output tax liability, across CGST, SGST, IGST and cess, does not exceed Rs 2.5 lakh per month can opt in while filing REG-01 and receive registration within three working days, subject to mandatory Aadhaar authentication of the primary authorised signatory and at least one promoter or partner.
Why this matters: Small Chennai businesses starting out can opt for Rule 14A registration to begin billing within days instead of waiting through full verification.
Circular No. 200/12/2023-GST, dated 1 August 2023 · 2023-08-01
Giving effect to the 50th GST Council decisions, CBIC clarified that un-fried and uncooked snack pellets manufactured by extrusion are classifiable under tariff item 1905 90 30 and attract five per cent with effect from 27 July 2023, and that fish soluble paste moved from eighteen to five per cent from the same date. Imitation zari thread or yarn made from metallised polyester or plastic film was placed at five per cent, and past periods were regularised on an as-is basis.
What to do about it: Snack and zari manufacturers in and around Chennai got both a lower rate and protection for past periods, so old demands on these items should be contested with this circular.
Commissioner of Central Excise, Bolpur v. Ratan Melting and Wire Industries — Supreme Court, Constitution Bench, (2008) 13 SCC 1, judgment dated 14-10-2008 · 2008-10-14
A five-judge Bench held that circulars issued by the Board cannot prevail over the statute, and are not binding on courts. Where the Supreme Court or a High Court has declared the law on an issue, that declaration prevails and any contrary circular ceases to have effect. Circulars remain an aid to administration and can bind officers, but they cannot enlarge or restrict what the legislature has enacted.
Why this matters: Chennai businesses should treat CBIC circulars as useful administrative guidance, but should not rely on one that conflicts with the plain words of the GST Act.
