GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing in Kodambakkam does not have to mean portal errors, guesswork and due-date tension. For a fixed fee starting Rs.749, an accountable Chennai practice prepares, reconciles, reviews and files — and remains answerable long after the acknowledgement arrives.
We serve businesses on and around Sivan Koil Cross Street — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Kodambakkam gave Kollywood its name, and film production houses, editing suites and event managers still work off Arcot Road and Rangarajapuram Main Road alongside dense neighbourhood retail. Media businesses here struggle with GST classification of production services, reverse charge on copyright payments to composers and artists, and input tax credit scattered across multi-location shoots and vendor invoices. For businesses here, staying on the right side of GST is not optional — buyers check compliance, and the department's systems match every return. Our firm provides GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing to clients across Kodambakkam and neighbouring T. Nagar and Vadapalani, combining Chennai jurisdiction familiarity with disciplined deadline tracking. Whether you run a shop, a service practice or a growing trading concern, we handle the portal work so you can stay focused on the business itself.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
E-invoicing is mandatory once turnover crosses Rs.5 crore and e-way bills apply to goods movements above Rs.50,000. We set up, train and troubleshoot both systems, so your despatches from Kodambakkam are never held up by a compliance gap at the gate.
No filing leaves our desk on a junior's judgement alone. A senior GST practitioner reviews your figures, ITC claims and tax computation before submission, so errors are caught at our table and not by the department months later through a notice.
Every acknowledgement, challan, computation sheet and filed return is saved and shared with you in an organised folder. When a bank, buyer or GST officer asks for a document from two years ago, it reaches you the same day without any scrambling.
Whenever the GST Council notifies a late-fee waiver or an amnesty window for pending returns or old demands, we check every client's history against it and act within the deadline. Relief that businesses in Kodambakkam would otherwise read about after it lapsed reaches our clients in time.
From filing the LUT in RFD-11 at the start of each financial year to preparing RFD-01 refund claims with complete annexures, we know what makes a refund file move. Exporters and inverted-duty businesses come to us specifically for this.
Quarterly filing still demands monthly attention — IFF uploads so your buyers see their credit on time, and tax payment through PMT-06 by the 25th for the first two months of each quarter. We run that monthly rhythm so QRMP saves you effort without creating gaps.
At month end we remind you and collect sales invoices, purchase bills and credit notes in whatever format you maintain, including Excel, Tally exports or scanned copies.
We prepare invoice-wise outward supply details, validate GSTINs of your B2B customers, summarise B2C supplies and file GSTR-1 on the portal before the 11th.
We download your auto-drafted GSTR-2B, match it against purchase records, and claim only eligible input tax credit so that mismatches do not trigger scrutiny notices later.
We compute net tax payable after ITC set-off, share the working with you for approval, and generate the payment challan for any cash liability.
After your confirmation and tax payment, we file GSTR-3B before the 20th and send you both filed acknowledgements along with a one-page summary of the month.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Filed before the 11th and 20th of every month · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Rs.7,999/year
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Rates, reverse charge, place of supply and blocked credits are applied correctly at the preparation stage, so you neither overpay tax you do not owe nor underpay and invite demands with penalty later.
The 11th and the 20th stop being days of dread. You approve a prepared draft, we file, and the acknowledgement lands on your WhatsApp — month after month, without drama.
Filed returns, challans, reconciliations and working papers are archived in order from day one. If an audit or departmental verification comes, your file is ready the same week, not assembled in a panic.
Funding rounds, partnerships and business sales all begin with a compliance check. A clean, documented GST history lets you clear that scrutiny quickly instead of watching a deal stall over old filing gaps.
Advances received for services attract GST on receipt while advances for goods generally do not; applying this distinction correctly means you neither prepay tax unnecessarily nor omit a liability that surfaces later with interest.
Consistent, reconciled returns give the department's matching systems nothing to flag. Clients who move to us after years of self-filing typically see scrutiny queries and mismatch notices fall away within a few filing cycles.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
| Registration and amendments | Query-resistant applications prepared correctly the first time, with supporting documents matched to what proper officers actually verify. | Repeated clarification memos and resubmissions, with weeks lost because a rent agreement or premises photograph did not meet expectations. |
Positions we rely on when preparing filings and drafting replies — with the exact citation, so you can verify each one.
Saro Enterprises - AAR Tamil Nadu (2018), upheld by AAAR Tamil Nadu, order dated 6 February 2019 · 2018
The applicant made polypropylene and recycled plastic trays used by farmers to raise paddy and vegetable seedlings, and argued that they were agricultural implements. The Authority held that the trays are other articles of plastic under heading 3926 90 99 and are taxable at 9 percent central tax and 9 percent State tax. Use in agriculture does not by itself bring a product within the exempt agricultural implements entry, and the material and the tariff description prevail over the end use.
Why this matters: Chennai suppliers to the farm sector cannot assume exemption merely because the buyer uses the product in agriculture.
GSTN Advisory — Invoice Management System, live from 14 October 2024 · 2024-10-14
GSTN launched the Invoice Management System (IMS) on the portal from 14 October 2024. Buyers can now view each invoice uploaded by suppliers in GSTR-1, IFF or GSTR-1A and mark it as accepted, rejected or pending. These actions determine what flows into GSTR-2B, with the first IMS-based GSTR-2B generated on 14 November 2024 for the October 2024 period. Records left without action are treated as deemed accepted.
Practical effect: Set up a monthly IMS review before your GSTR-2B is generated so wrong or fraudulent supplier invoices do not silently enter your ITC.
Notification No. 22/2019-Central Tax dated 23.04.2019 · 2019-04-23
This notification appointed a date for rule 138E of the CGST Rules to come into force. Rule 138E bars generation of Part A of the e-way bill in respect of a registered person who has not furnished returns for two consecutive tax periods, or, in the case of a composition taxpayer, for two consecutive quarters. The commencement date was subsequently deferred more than once before the blocking facility was actually activated on the portal.
Practical effect: A Chennai business that falls two return periods behind will find e-way bill generation blocked, which halts dispatches until the pending returns are filed.
