Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Choosing GST Refund RFD-01 in Manapakkam is ultimately an act of trust: you are handing over sales figures, purchase records and portal access. Manapakkam lines Mount Poonamallee Road around the L&T Construction campus and MIOT International Hospital, with the Krishna Nagar streets off Periyar Salai, Gowri Nagar and the Ashram Road pocket running down to the Adyar river at River View Road. EPC subcontractors, medical device and consumable dealers, diagnostic labs, hostels, security agencies and canteen contractors bill from here, so works-contract classification, reverse charge on manpower and security supply, and Section 51 TDS deductions on government and PSU jobs recur constantly. We earn that trust the unglamorous way — fixed fees honoured, drafts approved by you before filing, acknowledgements shared the same day, and strict confidentiality throughout. Clients across Manapakkam, Ramapuram and Mugalivakkam have stayed with us for years on precisely this basis.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
You receive a WhatsApp message when documents are received, when the draft is ready for your approval, and when the return or application is filed, along with the acknowledgement. You never have to call and ask what is happening with your file.
Your sales figures, supplier lists and login credentials are handled only by our engaged team, stored securely and never shared with any third party. Many of our clients in Manapakkam compete with each other; complete confidentiality is a condition of our work.
E-invoicing is mandatory once turnover crosses Rs.5 crore and e-way bills apply to goods movements above Rs.50,000. We set up, train and troubleshoot both systems, so your despatches from Manapakkam are never held up by a compliance gap at the gate.
New GSTIN applications, core field amendments through REG-14, additional places of business — we prepare complete, query-resistant applications the first time. Clean paperwork is the difference between smooth approval and weeks lost answering clarification memos from the department.
A registration cancelled for non-filing is not the end of the road. We bring the pending returns up to date, clear the dues and file the revocation application in REG-21 within the permitted window, restoring suspended and cancelled GSTINs to active status.
A new GSTIN comes with obligations nobody explains at approval — the invoice series rules, displaying the registration certificate and GSTIN at your premises, and the first return cycle. We walk new registrants in Manapakkam through each of these so month one starts correctly.
We identify the correct refund category, confirm the two-year limitation from the relevant date, and compute the admissible amount using the formula prescribed under the rules.
Invoices, shipping bills, FIRCs, the LUT and ledger extracts are compiled into the prescribed statements, and gaps that commonly cause deficiency memos are fixed upfront.
The refund application is filed on the portal with all annexures and declarations, and the acknowledgement in RFD-02 is tracked within the statutory fifteen days.
We respond to any deficiency memo in RFD-03 or show cause notice in RFD-08, appear through written submissions, and pursue provisional refund where the category permits.
We track the sanction order in RFD-06 and payment advice in RFD-05, confirm the credit in your validated bank account, and archive the complete claim file.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Application filed in 3-5 working days; sanction typically within 60 days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
We spot suppliers who stop uploading invoices or filing returns and alert you before their default becomes your blocked credit, letting you recover amounts or switch vendors while the exposure is still small.
With returns filed ahead of the statutory due dates every period, the Rs.50-per-day GSTR-3B late fee simply stops appearing in your life, and the money stays in your business where it belongs.
Complete RFD-01 applications with proper statements and annexures move through the system faster and attract fewer deficiency memos, which means export and inverted-duty refunds reach your bank account sooner.
Because monthly data is reconciled as it happens, GSTR-9 preparation before the 31 December due date becomes a review exercise rather than a painful reconstruction of twelve untidy months.
Interest on delayed GST payment runs at 18 percent per annum, which is costlier than most working capital finance. Timely computation and payment through our calendar keeps that meter permanently at zero.
Late-fee waivers and amnesty windows notified by the GST Council are applied to your history within their deadlines, capturing reliefs that most businesses only hear about once the window has already closed.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Refund claims | RFD-01 filed with complete statements and annexures, tracked from ARN to bank credit, with any deficiency memo answered promptly. | Incomplete claims bounce back as deficiency memos while the refund sits unclaimed for months and working capital stays blocked. |
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
| Risk of notices | GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciled before filing, removing the mismatches that trigger most scrutiny notices. | Inconsistent figures across returns quietly build a mismatch history that surfaces later as ASMT-10 scrutiny or a demand notice. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |
Gowri Nagar Main Street is a residential street in Manapakkam, about 450 m north-west of the centre of Manapakkam. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Gowri Nagar 1st Street (about 50 m); Ashram Avenue (about 250 m); Ashram Road (about 300 m); Periyar Salai (about 400 m) — so a site visit on Gowri Nagar Main Street can usually be combined with other work in Manapakkam on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Gowri Nagar Main Street falls under the Chennai South CGST Commissionerate, and the Manapakkam pincode is 600125.

56th GST Council Meeting, New Delhi — 3 September 2025 · 2025-09-03
The 56th GST Council meeting approved the biggest structural reform since 2017, replacing the 5, 12, 18 and 28 per cent slabs with a two-rate structure — a 5 per cent merit rate and an 18 per cent standard rate — plus a 40 per cent de-merit rate for a narrow set of luxury and sin goods. Most items at 12 per cent moved to 5 per cent and most at 28 per cent moved to 18 per cent. The new rates took effect from 22 September 2025 and remain in force.
How we apply it: Every Chennai business had to re-map product rates, reprice stock and update billing software from 22 September 2025 — rate mistakes since then invite scrutiny notices.
Vallabh Textiles v. Senior Intelligence Officer — Delhi High Court, 2022 · 2022-12-20
During a search that continued into the early hours, the taxpayer deposited substantial amounts through DRC-03, later claiming coercion. The Delhi High Court held that the deposits did not bear the hallmark of voluntary self-ascertainment under Section 74(5), noted the department's non-compliance with CBIC instructions barring recovery during search, and directed refund of the amounts with interest at 6 percent. The ruling strengthens the line of authority against collection of tax during investigation without adjudication.
What to do about it: Never let officers pressure you into on-the-spot DRC-03 payments during a search — payments made under coercion can be recovered back with interest through the courts.
Circular No. 17/17/2017-GST dated 15 November 2017 · 2017-11-15
Because the refund module was not available on the common portal, CBIC directed that refund claims relating to zero-rated supplies be filed and processed manually. The applicant generated FORM GST RFD-01A online, printed it and submitted it with supporting documents to the jurisdictional office, which issued acknowledgement in RFD-02, a deficiency memo where needed in RFD-03, the provisional refund order in RFD-04 and the final sanction or rejection order in RFD-06. It also set out the documents and statements required for exports of goods and of services.
How we apply it: Refund claims for the early GST periods were processed under this manual route, so old files and any pending litigation from 2017-18 must be read against this circular rather than the present online process.
