GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing in Minjur does not have to mean portal errors, guesswork and due-date tension. For a fixed fee starting Rs.749, an accountable Chennai practice prepares, reconciles, reviews and files — and remains answerable long after the acknowledgement arrives.
We serve businesses on and around Vellalar Street — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.

Every locality in Chennai has its own commercial rhythm, and Minjur is no exception. Minjur is a logistics town on the Thiruvottriyur-Ponneri-Panchetty Road where the Outer Ring Road lands, ringed by container freight stations, timber cutting yards, blue-metal depots and the Minjur seawater desalination plant, with Ennore port and Kattupalli traffic running through it. Freight forwarders here wrestle with place of supply on transport services, while timber and quarry traders face e-way bill checks on the Karanodai-Minjur Road. Our practice has shaped its GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing work around exactly these realities, serving clients in Minjur as well as Ponneri and Athipattu. Registrations, returns, refunds and notice replies are handled by one accountable team, with fees fixed in writing before work begins and every filing reconciled against portal data before it is submitted.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
GST is confusing enough without a language barrier. Our team explains notices, tax positions and filing requirements in plain Tamil or English, whichever you and your staff in Minjur are comfortable with, and keeps written communication simple and jargon-free.
You receive a WhatsApp message when documents are received, when the draft is ready for your approval, and when the return or application is filed, along with the acknowledgement. You never have to call and ask what is happening with your file.
We work with Chennai GST ranges and circles every week, including the jurisdiction covering Minjur. We know how local proper officers examine registrations, what supporting documents they routinely call for, and how to present a file so it moves without repeated queries.
From filing the LUT in RFD-11 at the start of each financial year to preparing RFD-01 refund claims with complete annexures, we know what makes a refund file move. Exporters and inverted-duty businesses come to us specifically for this.
Composition dealers have their own rulebook — CMP-08 every quarter, GSTR-4 annually by 30 June, bills of supply instead of tax invoices, and a turnover ceiling that must be watched. We handle each of these correctly so the scheme's simplicity never turns into a violation.
Winding up attracts its own GST obligations — the cancellation application, reversal of credit on closing stock, and the final return in GSTR-10 within three months. We close registrations properly so a business you shut in Minjur never writes back to you as a demand years later.
At month end we remind you and collect sales invoices, purchase bills and credit notes in whatever format you maintain, including Excel, Tally exports or scanned copies.
We prepare invoice-wise outward supply details, validate GSTINs of your B2B customers, summarise B2C supplies and file GSTR-1 on the portal before the 11th.
We download your auto-drafted GSTR-2B, match it against purchase records, and claim only eligible input tax credit so that mismatches do not trigger scrutiny notices later.
We compute net tax payable after ITC set-off, share the working with you for approval, and generate the payment challan for any cash liability.
After your confirmation and tax payment, we file GSTR-3B before the 20th and send you both filed acknowledgements along with a one-page summary of the month.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.

Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Advances received for services attract GST on receipt while advances for goods generally do not; applying this distinction correctly means you neither prepay tax unnecessarily nor omit a liability that surfaces later with interest.
A fixed professional fee is almost always cheaper than the combination of late fees, interest, lost credit and staff hours that informal, last-minute compliance quietly accumulates over a year.
Each period you receive a simple computation showing output tax, credit utilised and net cash payable, so GST becomes a number you understand and question rather than a figure you accept blindly.
Filed returns, challans, reconciliations and working papers are archived in order from day one. If an audit or departmental verification comes, your file is ready the same week, not assembled in a panic.
Systematic GSTR-2B matching and supplier follow-up mean input tax credit that was leaking away under self-filing is captured each month, directly reducing the cash you pay out with every GSTR-3B.
You know your expected GST outflow days before the 20th, not on the night of filing. That advance visibility lets you plan payments, collections and bank balances instead of scrambling for funds at the deadline.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
| Refund claims | RFD-01 filed with complete statements and annexures, tracked from ARN to bank credit, with any deficiency memo answered promptly. | Incomplete claims bounce back as deficiency memos while the refund sits unclaimed for months and working capital stays blocked. |
| Portal credentials and data | Logins handled by a small engaged team under strict confidentiality, with credentials stored securely and never passed onward. | Passwords circulating on chats with freelancers and part-timers, and no accountability for who has accessed your business data. |
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| Risk of notices | GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciled before filing, removing the mismatches that trigger most scrutiny notices. | Inconsistent figures across returns quietly build a mismatch history that surfaces later as ASMT-10 scrutiny or a demand notice. |
| Registration and amendments | Query-resistant applications prepared correctly the first time, with supporting documents matched to what proper officers actually verify. | Repeated clarification memos and resubmissions, with weeks lost because a rent agreement or premises photograph did not meet expectations. |

Notification No. 19/2021-Central Tax · 2021-06-01
For the tax periods July 2017 to April 2021 the late fee on GSTR-3B was capped at Rs 1,000 per return, being Rs 500 each under the central and State laws, and at Rs 500 per return where the return was a nil return. The concession applied to returns furnished between 1 June 2021 and 31 August 2021. The same notification rationalised the late fee prospectively from June 2021, capping it at Rs 500 for nil returns, Rs 2,000 where turnover is up to Rs 1.5 crore, Rs 5,000 where turnover is between Rs 1.5 crore and Rs 5 crore, and leaving the normal Rs 10,000 ceiling for turnover above Rs 5 crore.
Why this matters: This scheme let a Chennai business clear four years of pending returns for a few thousand rupees, and it also fixed the low late fee ceilings that small taxpayers still enjoy today.
Circular No. 236/30/2024-GST · 2024-10-11
CBIC explained the scope of the phrase 'regularised on as is where is basis' used when the Council settles a disputed rate or classification. Where taxpayers paid at the lower of two competing rates or claimed an exemption in good faith, the past position is accepted as full discharge and no differential demand arises. However, no refund is available to anyone who paid at the higher rate or did not claim the exemption, and the circular works through illustrations showing exactly which past positions stand closed.
Why this matters: Read any rate clarification circular alongside its regularisation paragraph, because that paragraph often extinguishes the entire exposure for earlier years.
42nd GST Council Meeting (video conferencing) — 5 October 2020 · 2020-10-05
The Council approved what became the Quarterly Return Monthly Payment scheme. Registered persons with aggregate annual turnover up to Rs 5 crore were allowed to furnish GSTR-3B on a quarterly basis from 1 January 2021, while paying tax monthly through a challan. The due date for the quarterly GSTR-1 was fixed at the 13th of the month following the quarter, and an invoice furnishing facility was provided so that recipients could still see credit monthly. This remains the default compliance route for most small businesses.
Practical effect: A Chennai business under Rs 5 crore can file GSTR-3B four times a year instead of twelve, but must still deposit tax every month, and missing that monthly challan attracts interest.
