The 11th and the 20th arrive every month whether you are ready or not. Our Chennai team keeps businesses in Mugalivakkam permanently ahead of both, delivering GST Notice Reply from Rs.2,999 with reconciliation, senior review and WhatsApp acknowledgements as standard.
We serve businesses on and around Subramaniam Street — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Businesses in Mugalivakkam looking for GST Notice Reply want two things: work done correctly and someone answerable when questions come. Mugalivakkam sits between Porur and Manapakkam, its AGS Colony, Sabari Nagar, Sakthi Nagar, Mahalakshmi Nagar and VGN Lakshmi Nagar layouts packed with apartment blocks over ground-floor shops on Mugalivakkam Main Road. Builders, interior and aluminium fabricators, hardware and tile dealers, supermarkets and PG operators trade here. Joint-development revenue recognition, the one-third land abatement, reverse charge on commercial rent and Rule 42 credit reversal on exempt flat sales are the standard questions. We serve this belt — including Manapakkam and Ramapuram — with fixed fees quoted upfront, a written document checklist, and filings completed ahead of statutory due dates. Every acknowledgement is shared the day it is generated, and our support continues if the department raises any query on work we have filed.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
Freight paid to transporters, advocate fees, imported services and other notified supplies attract GST under reverse charge, with self-invoicing where the supplier is unregistered. We maintain a running RCM check every period, because this is the liability self-filers most consistently miss.
We work with Chennai GST ranges and circles every week, including the jurisdiction covering Mugalivakkam. We know how local proper officers examine registrations, what supporting documents they routinely call for, and how to present a file so it moves without repeated queries.
GST is confusing enough without a language barrier. Our team explains notices, tax positions and filing requirements in plain Tamil or English, whichever you and your staff in Mugalivakkam are comfortable with, and keeps written communication simple and jargon-free.
You receive a WhatsApp message when documents are received, when the draft is ready for your approval, and when the return or application is filed, along with the acknowledgement. You never have to call and ask what is happening with your file.
We tell you when the composition scheme stops making sense, when QRMP suits your cash flow, and when a supplier's non-compliance is quietly costing you credit. Filing is the minimum; helping you make better GST decisions is the actual job.
A new GSTIN comes with obligations nobody explains at approval — the invoice series rules, displaying the registration certificate and GSTIN at your premises, and the first return cycle. We walk new registrants in Mugalivakkam through each of these so month one starts correctly.
We read the notice line by line, identify the section invoked, the periods covered, the exact information sought and the deadline for response.
The figures alleged in the notice are reconciled against your filed returns, GSTR-2B and books, so the reply is grounded in verifiable numbers rather than assertions.
We draft a professional, point-wise reply addressing every allegation, attaching reconciliations, invoices and legal support, and share the draft with you for approval.
The approved reply is filed on the portal within the deadline. Where a small genuine liability exists, we advise payment through DRC-03 to limit interest and penalty.
We monitor the portal for the officer's response, attend to any further queries or hearing dates, and pursue the matter until a closure or order is received.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Draft reply in 3-5 working days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Interest on delayed GST payment runs at 18 percent per annum, which is costlier than most working capital finance. Timely computation and payment through our calendar keeps that meter permanently at zero.
Complete RFD-01 applications with proper statements and annexures move through the system faster and attract fewer deficiency memos, which means export and inverted-duty refunds reach your bank account sooner.
Advances received for services attract GST on receipt while advances for goods generally do not; applying this distinction correctly means you neither prepay tax unnecessarily nor omit a liability that surfaces later with interest.
Excess balances parked in the electronic cash ledger are identified during regular ledger reviews and either utilised against upcoming liability or claimed back as a refund, instead of sitting interest-free with the government.
Whether moving between composition and regular scheme, opting into QRMP, or crossing the e-invoice threshold at Rs.5 crore, transitions are planned in advance rather than discovered after a compliance breach.
A fixed professional fee is almost always cheaper than the combination of late fees, interest, lost credit and staff hours that informal, last-minute compliance quietly accumulates over a year.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
| Registration and amendments | Query-resistant applications prepared correctly the first time, with supporting documents matched to what proper officers actually verify. | Repeated clarification memos and resubmissions, with weeks lost because a rent agreement or premises photograph did not meet expectations. |
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
| Risk of notices | GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciled before filing, removing the mismatches that trigger most scrutiny notices. | Inconsistent figures across returns quietly build a mismatch history that surfaces later as ASMT-10 scrutiny or a demand notice. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
Subramaniam Street is a residential street in Mugalivakkam, about 1.1 km west of the centre of Mugalivakkam. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Arunagiri Street (about 50 m); Vishwanathan Palani Street (about 100 m); VGN Lakshmi Nagar Main Road (about 100 m); Saraswathy Street (about 150 m) — so a site visit on Subramaniam Street can usually be combined with other work in Mugalivakkam on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Subramaniam Street falls under the Chennai South CGST Commissionerate, and the Mugalivakkam pincode is 600116.

Circular No. 132/2/2020-GST dated 18 March 2020 · 2020-03-18
Several appellate authorities were refusing to decide appeals on the ground that the GST Appellate Tribunal did not exist. CBIC clarified that this is not a valid reason to defer disposal, and that under the Removal of Difficulty Order the three-month period for filing an appeal to the Tribunal starts only from the date on which the President of the Tribunal enters office. Appellate authorities were directed to record this position in their orders so that appellants are not prejudiced.
What it means for you: A Chennai taxpayer who loses at first appeal does not lose the right to go to the Tribunal, because limitation only begins once the Tribunal is functional.
Commissioner of Customs and Central Excise v. Hongo India (P) Ltd — Supreme Court, (2009) 5 SCC 791, judgment dated 27-03-2009 · 2009-03-27
The Supreme Court held that where a special taxing statute provides a complete code with its own limitation scheme, the general provisions of the Limitation Act permitting condonation of delay do not apply. Delay in filing a reference or appeal beyond the period prescribed by the special statute cannot be condoned. The scheme, language and object of the special Act determine whether the Limitation Act is impliedly excluded.
Practical effect: Chennai businesses must treat GST appeal and revision deadlines as absolute, since general limitation relief is not available.
GSTAT E-Filing Portal advisories, portal operational from 24 September 2025 · 2025-09-24
The GST Appellate Tribunal's e-filing portal at efiling.gstat.gov.in became operational on 24 September 2025, finally giving taxpayers a forum for second appeals against orders of appellate and revisional authorities. Filing of appeals is mandatorily electronic, and advisories prescribe a phased, staggered schedule so that the backlog does not congest the system, with backlog appeals against pre-existing orders permitted to be filed up to 30 June 2026.
Practical effect: List every unfavourable appellate order your business holds and calendar the GSTAT filing windows now, since the backlog window closes on 30 June 2026 and missed tribunal deadlines forfeit the appeal remedy.

Upload the PDF to our free GST Notice Analyser. It identifies which of 34 notice types you have, pulls out the DIN, GSTIN and tax period, reads the reply date printed on the notice and tells you plainly whether that date has already passed — along with the documents and reconciliations you will need. No payment, no account. If the notice does not state a date we can read, it says so rather than guessing one for you.
