Whether you are a first-time registrant or an established trader, GST Notice Reply in Pammal deserves a specialist rather than a side job. From Rs.2,999, our GST-focused Chennai practice runs the entire process on written checklists and senior-reviewed submissions.
We serve businesses on and around 38th Street — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Choosing GST Notice Reply in Pammal is ultimately an act of trust: you are handing over sales figures, purchase records and portal access. Pammal, off the GST Road corridor behind Pallavaram, carries a long-standing leather processing and garment job work belt along Pammal Main Road and the Pallavaram-Kundrathur Road, with tannery-linked units towards Nagalkeni. Units processing hides for exporters must bill job work at the correct 5 per cent rate, keep delivery challans for every movement and file ITC-04 on principal-to-job-worker transfers. We earn that trust the unglamorous way — fixed fees honoured, drafts approved by you before filing, acknowledgements shared the same day, and strict confidentiality throughout. Clients across Pammal, Pallavaram and Chromepet have stayed with us for years on precisely this basis.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
Winding up attracts its own GST obligations — the cancellation application, reversal of credit on closing stock, and the final return in GSTR-10 within three months. We close registrations properly so a business you shut in Pammal never writes back to you as a demand years later.
Traders, manufacturers, contractors, e-commerce sellers, professionals and service exporters — we have handled GST for all of them. Whatever mix of goods and services your Pammal business supplies, the rate, classification and place-of-supply questions have almost certainly crossed our desk before.
Freight paid to transporters, advocate fees, imported services and other notified supplies attract GST under reverse charge, with self-invoicing where the supplier is unregistered. We maintain a running RCM check every period, because this is the liability self-filers most consistently miss.
E-invoicing is mandatory once turnover crosses Rs.5 crore and e-way bills apply to goods movements above Rs.50,000. We set up, train and troubleshoot both systems, so your despatches from Pammal are never held up by a compliance gap at the gate.
GSTR-1 by the 11th, GSTR-3B by the 20th, CMP-08 by the 18th after each quarter — we maintain a compliance calendar for every client and start chasing your data well before the due date, so late fees never enter the picture.
If your GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B start drifting apart, if a large supplier stops filing, or if your turnover approaches the e-invoice threshold, we flag it to you immediately. Early warnings from our side are cheaper than departmental letters later.
We read the notice line by line, identify the section invoked, the periods covered, the exact information sought and the deadline for response.
The figures alleged in the notice are reconciled against your filed returns, GSTR-2B and books, so the reply is grounded in verifiable numbers rather than assertions.
We draft a professional, point-wise reply addressing every allegation, attaching reconciliations, invoices and legal support, and share the draft with you for approval.
The approved reply is filed on the portal within the deadline. Where a small genuine liability exists, we advise payment through DRC-03 to limit interest and penalty.
We monitor the portal for the officer's response, attend to any further queries or hearing dates, and pursue the matter until a closure or order is received.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Draft reply in 3-5 working days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Excess balances parked in the electronic cash ledger are identified during regular ledger reviews and either utilised against upcoming liability or claimed back as a refund, instead of sitting interest-free with the government.
With the LUT filed at the start of each financial year and refund claims tracked to credit, exporters supply without blocking funds in IGST and recover accumulated credit on schedule.
Amounts deducted by government buyers as GST TDS and by marketplaces as TCS are accepted on the portal each period, so money withheld against your GSTIN actually reaches your cash ledger instead of lying unclaimed.
We spot suppliers who stop uploading invoices or filing returns and alert you before their default becomes your blocked credit, letting you recover amounts or switch vendors while the exposure is still small.
Sales returns, discounts and price revisions are adjusted through properly reported credit notes within the statutory window, so you never keep paying tax on turnover you have already reversed.
Systematic GSTR-2B matching and supplier follow-up mean input tax credit that was leaking away under self-filing is captured each month, directly reducing the cash you pay out with every GSTR-3B.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Portal credentials and data | Logins handled by a small engaged team under strict confidentiality, with credentials stored securely and never passed onward. | Passwords circulating on chats with freelancers and part-timers, and no accountability for who has accessed your business data. |
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
| Registration and amendments | Query-resistant applications prepared correctly the first time, with supporting documents matched to what proper officers actually verify. | Repeated clarification memos and resubmissions, with weeks lost because a rent agreement or premises photograph did not meet expectations. |
38th Street is a residential street in Pammal, about 550 m south-west of the centre of Pammal. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — 37th Street (about 50 m); 35th Street (about 100 m); 39th Street (about 100 m); 36th Street (about 100 m) — so a site visit on 38th Street can usually be combined with other work in Pammal on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on 38th Street falls under the Chennai Outer CGST Commissionerate, and the Pammal pincode is 600075.
Road classification and position from OpenStreetMap; distances are straight-line and approximate. Jurisdiction must be confirmed on your own registration certificate.
A working knowledge of recent instruments and judgments is what separates a defensible filing from a risky one.
Achampet Solar Pvt Ltd — AAAR Telangana, Order No. AAAR.COM/04/2022, dated 19 October 2022 (setting aside AAR Order No. 07/2022, dated 16 February 2022) · 2022-10-19
The Telangana AAR had held that liquidated damages recoverable by Achampet Solar from its contractor for delay in commissioning its solar plant were a taxable supply attracting 18 per cent GST. The Appellate Authority set that ruling aside on 19 October 2022, holding that such damages are compensation for breach of contract and not consideration for tolerating an act, so they do not qualify as a supply. The decision aligns with CBIC Circular No. 178/10/2022-GST dated 3 August 2022 on contractual damages.
Why this matters: Do not automatically charge GST on liquidated damages or penalty recoveries; test each clause against the 2022 circular before paying tax.
19th GST Council Meeting (video conference) — 17 July 2017 (Signed Minutes, Agenda Item 2; CBIC Press Release dated 17 July 2017) · 2017-07-17
Meeting by video conference barely a fortnight after rollout, the Council found that the combination of a twenty-eight per cent rate and the compensation cess rates originally fixed had left cigarettes bearing less tax than under the earlier excise and VAT regime, handing manufacturers a windfall. The Council recommended an increase in the compensation cess rates on cigarettes so as to align the total GST incidence with the pre-GST level, and the revised cess rates were notified with effect from 18 July 2017.
What it means for you: It showed early on that the Council would move within days to correct a rate that produced an unintended windfall, in either direction.
Akhil Krishan Maggu v. Deputy Director, Directorate General of GST Intelligence — Punjab and Haryana High Court, CWP No. 24195 of 2019, judgment dated 15 November 2019 · 2019-11-15
The High Court examined the power of arrest under Section 69 and held that it must be exercised with great care and only in exceptional circumstances, such as where a person is likely to tamper with evidence or abscond, is a habitual offender, or the evidence of a substantial offence is already clear. Arrest during investigation and before the liability has even been determined was deprecated, and the court listed situations in which arrest should ordinarily be avoided.
Why this matters: If a summons escalates towards arrest, this judgment is the standard authority for arguing that arrest must be an exception and not a pressure tactic.

Upload the PDF to our free GST Notice Analyser. It identifies which of 34 notice types you have, pulls out the DIN, GSTIN and tax period, reads the reply date printed on the notice and tells you plainly whether that date has already passed — along with the documents and reconciliations you will need. No payment, no account. If the notice does not state a date we can read, it says so rather than guessing one for you.
