The 11th and the 20th arrive every month whether you are ready or not. Our Chennai team keeps businesses in Park Town permanently ahead of both, delivering New GST Registration from Rs.1,499 with reconciliation, senior review and WhatsApp acknowledgements as standard.
We serve businesses on and around Nabikhan Street — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Finding dependable New GST Registration in Park Town usually means choosing between a distant online portal and an overloaded local accountant. Park Town wraps around Chennai Central station, Ripon Building and the Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital, so its trade runs to lodges, pharmacies and surgical suppliers on General Hospital Road, stationery and luggage shops near the old Moore Market complex, and parcel agencies along Wall Tax Road. Lodges must apply the correct GST slab on room tariffs, and suppliers to railway establishments reconcile 2 per cent TDS credits monthly. We offer a third option: a professional Chennai GST practice that treats Park Town, Parrys (George Town) and Broadway as home ground, responds the same working day, files ahead of deadlines, and stands behind its work if a notice ever arrives on a return we prepared.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
Whenever the GST Council notifies a late-fee waiver or an amnesty window for pending returns or old demands, we check every client's history against it and act within the deadline. Relief that businesses in Park Town would otherwise read about after it lapsed reaches our clients in time.
Traders, manufacturers, contractors, e-commerce sellers, professionals and service exporters — we have handled GST for all of them. Whatever mix of goods and services your Park Town business supplies, the rate, classification and place-of-supply questions have almost certainly crossed our desk before.
We tell you when the composition scheme stops making sense, when QRMP suits your cash flow, and when a supplier's non-compliance is quietly costing you credit. Filing is the minimum; helping you make better GST decisions is the actual job.
Send your query on call or WhatsApp and you hear back the same working day, usually within a few hours. When a due date is close or a notice has landed, waiting two days for a reply is simply not acceptable, and we know it.
Your sales figures, supplier lists and login credentials are handled only by our engaged team, stored securely and never shared with any third party. Many of our clients in Park Town compete with each other; complete confidentiality is a condition of our work.
GSTR-3B late fees run at Rs.50 per day and interest at 18 percent per annum on unpaid tax. Our internal cut-offs sit days ahead of statutory due dates precisely so that our clients never hand the department a rupee they did not owe.
You share PAN, Aadhaar, photographs, address proof and bank details over WhatsApp or email. We review each document against portal requirements and flag anything that could trigger an officer query.
We draft Form GST REG-01 with the correct business constitution, principal place of business, HSN or SAC codes and authorised signatory details, then share a summary for your confirmation.
The application is filed on the GST portal and we guide the authorised signatory through Aadhaar OTP authentication, which speeds up approval and usually avoids physical verification of premises.
We track the ARN daily. If the officer issues a notice in Form REG-03 seeking clarification, we draft and file the reply in Form REG-04 within the permitted time.
Once approved, we download your registration certificate in Form REG-06, help set up portal login credentials, and brief you on invoice format, return due dates and e-way bill obligations.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: 3-7 working days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Complete RFD-01 applications with proper statements and annexures move through the system faster and attract fewer deficiency memos, which means export and inverted-duty refunds reach your bank account sooner.
Correct e-way bills matched to correct invoices mean your consignments clear roadside inspections cleanly, avoiding detention proceedings whose penalties can far exceed the tax on the goods being carried.
Sales returns, discounts and price revisions are adjusted through properly reported credit notes within the statutory window, so you never keep paying tax on turnover you have already reversed.
Illness, travel or a family function no longer threatens a deadline. With a standing external process holding your calendar and data trail, filings proceed on schedule whether or not you are at your desk.
Statutory windows such as thirty days for an ASMT-11 reply are tracked from the day a notice arrives, so responses go in on time, complete, and with your best case properly presented.
Correct, complete tax invoices signal a well-run business to customers, vendors and banks alike, quietly strengthening your credibility in every transaction where your paperwork is seen.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
| Goods in transit | E-way bills generated correctly and matched to invoices, so consignments pass roadside inspections without detention or penalty. | A defective or missing e-way bill can mean detention at a checkpoint, with penalties that dwarf the tax on the consignment. |
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
| Portal credentials and data | Logins handled by a small engaged team under strict confidentiality, with credentials stored securely and never passed onward. | Passwords circulating on chats with freelancers and part-timers, and no accountability for who has accessed your business data. |
Nabikhan Street is a residential street in Park Town, about 700 m north-west of the centre of Park Town. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Kumarappa Chetty Street (about 50 m); Vepery High Road (about 50 m); Rama Pillai Street (about 50 m); Muthu Gramani Street (about 100 m) — so a site visit on Nabikhan Street can usually be combined with other work in Park Town on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Nabikhan Street falls under the Chennai North CGST Commissionerate, and the Park Town pincode is 600003.

Skill Lotto Solutions (P) Ltd v. Union of India — Supreme Court, 2020 · 2020-12-03
The Supreme Court upheld the levy of GST on lotteries, holding that the inclusion of actionable claims such as lottery, betting and gambling within the definition of 'goods' under Section 2(52) CGST Act is constitutionally valid and not discriminatory. It further held that GST is payable on the face value of lottery tickets, including the prize money component, rejecting the argument that prize money should be excluded from the taxable value.
What to do about it: The ruling confirms Parliament's wide power to tax actionable claims under GST — businesses in gaming, contests and promotional schemes should price for GST on gross face value.
23rd GST Council Meeting, Guwahati — 10 November 2017 (PIB Release ID 1509037) · 2017-11-10
The Council recommended reducing the GST rate from 28 to 18 per cent on goods falling in 178 headings at the four-digit level, including four headings only partially pruned, so that the 28 per cent list fell from 224 tariff headings to only about 50. Further reductions were recommended from 28 to 12 per cent, from 18 to 12 per cent and from 18 to 5 per cent on specified goods, together with relief for the aviation and handicraft sectors and restaurants.
Why this matters: This is the single largest rate rationalisation of the early GST years and reset the price and credit position for most Chennai consumer goods dealers overnight.
Notification No. 9/2025-Central Tax (Rate), dated 17 September 2025, Schedules IV, V and VI · 2025-09-17
Schedule IV at 1.5 per cent central tax, that is three per cent combined, covers pearls, silver, gold, platinum, base metals clad with precious metal, articles of jewellery, goldsmiths' and silversmiths' wares, imitation jewellery and coin. Schedule V at 0.125 per cent, that is 0.25 per cent combined, covers rough or simply sawn diamonds and unworked precious and semi-precious stones. Schedule VI at 0.75 per cent, that is 1.5 per cent combined, covers cut and polished diamonds and worked synthetic stones.
What to do about it: Jewellers in Chennai continue to charge three per cent on ornaments, with the separate making charge taxed as a service, so no repricing was needed in September 2025.
