From Rs.1,499, our team delivers New GST Registration for shops, service providers and manufacturers across Peravallur. Local jurisdiction knowledge, deadline tracking and honest, upfront fees — the way GST compliance in Chennai should actually work.
We serve businesses on and around 19th Street — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Peravallur runs between Paper Mills Road, Constable Road and the 70 Feet Road, a belt of job work machine shops, welding and powder coating units, timber and hardware yards and lorry booking offices feeding Perambur Loco Works. GKM Colony, SRP Colony and Periyar Nagar add provision stores and rented godowns off Venkatesan Road and Karthikeyan Road. Job work challans under ITC-04, unregistered labour on reverse charge and e-way bills for short hauls are the recurring headaches. That commercial character shapes the GST questions we see from Peravallur every week — registrations, monthly returns, credit mismatches and departmental queries. We deliver New GST Registration for businesses in Peravallur, and clients also reach us from Perambur and Kolathur nearby. Documents move over WhatsApp, drafts are approved before filing, and a senior consultant reviews every submission, so distance from our office never dilutes the quality of the work.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
Winding up attracts its own GST obligations — the cancellation application, reversal of credit on closing stock, and the final return in GSTR-10 within three months. We close registrations properly so a business you shut in Peravallur never writes back to you as a demand years later.
Your cash ledger, credit ledger and liability register are reviewed regularly, not just at filing time. Excess balances are flagged for use or refund, and where a genuine slip surfaces, a voluntary payment through DRC-03 settles it before it can mature into a notice.
We are a Chennai firm with a physical office, not a faceless portal. If you prefer to sit across a table with your papers, you are welcome. Clients from Peravallur regularly visit us for registrations, notice discussions and annual return reviews.
Send your query on call or WhatsApp and you hear back the same working day, usually within a few hours. When a due date is close or a notice has landed, waiting two days for a reply is simply not acceptable, and we know it.
Your sales figures, supplier lists and login credentials are handled only by our engaged team, stored securely and never shared with any third party. Many of our clients in Peravallur compete with each other; complete confidentiality is a condition of our work.
We tell you when the composition scheme stops making sense, when QRMP suits your cash flow, and when a supplier's non-compliance is quietly costing you credit. Filing is the minimum; helping you make better GST decisions is the actual job.
You share PAN, Aadhaar, photographs, address proof and bank details over WhatsApp or email. We review each document against portal requirements and flag anything that could trigger an officer query.
We draft Form GST REG-01 with the correct business constitution, principal place of business, HSN or SAC codes and authorised signatory details, then share a summary for your confirmation.
The application is filed on the GST portal and we guide the authorised signatory through Aadhaar OTP authentication, which speeds up approval and usually avoids physical verification of premises.
We track the ARN daily. If the officer issues a notice in Form REG-03 seeking clarification, we draft and file the reply in Form REG-04 within the permitted time.
Once approved, we download your registration certificate in Form REG-06, help set up portal login credentials, and brief you on invoice format, return due dates and e-way bill obligations.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: 3-7 working days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Correct, complete tax invoices signal a well-run business to customers, vendors and banks alike, quietly strengthening your credibility in every transaction where your paperwork is seen.
Systematic GSTR-2B matching and supplier follow-up mean input tax credit that was leaking away under self-filing is captured each month, directly reducing the cash you pay out with every GSTR-3B.
Excess balances parked in the electronic cash ledger are identified during regular ledger reviews and either utilised against upcoming liability or claimed back as a refund, instead of sitting interest-free with the government.
Advances received for services attract GST on receipt while advances for goods generally do not; applying this distinction correctly means you neither prepay tax unnecessarily nor omit a liability that surfaces later with interest.
With the LUT filed at the start of each financial year and refund claims tracked to credit, exporters supply without blocking funds in IGST and recover accumulated credit on schedule.
A fixed professional fee is almost always cheaper than the combination of late fees, interest, lost credit and staff hours that informal, last-minute compliance quietly accumulates over a year.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Portal credentials and data | Logins handled by a small engaged team under strict confidentiality, with credentials stored securely and never passed onward. | Passwords circulating on chats with freelancers and part-timers, and no accountability for who has accessed your business data. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
| Registration and amendments | Query-resistant applications prepared correctly the first time, with supporting documents matched to what proper officers actually verify. | Repeated clarification memos and resubmissions, with weeks lost because a rent agreement or premises photograph did not meet expectations. |
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
19th Street is a residential street in Peravallur, about 450 m west of the centre of Peravallur. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — 18th Street (about 50 m); 20th Street (about 50 m); 21st Street (about 100 m); 17th Street (about 100 m) — so a site visit on 19th Street can usually be combined with other work in Peravallur on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on 19th Street falls under the Chennai North CGST Commissionerate, and the Peravallur pincode is 600082.
Road classification and position from OpenStreetMap; distances are straight-line and approximate. Jurisdiction must be confirmed on your own registration certificate.
We track every notification, circular and judgment that changes a filing position, so your returns and replies reflect the current law.
Circular No. 73/47/2018-GST dated 5 November 2018 · 2018-11-05
Following the principal-agent circular, CBIC clarified the position of a del credere agent who guarantees payment by the buyer. Whether he is an agent under Schedule I again depends on whether he invoices the goods in his own name. Where he is not an agent and extends short-term credit to the buyer, the interest he charges is exempt as a supply of extending deposits or loans; where he is an agent, the interest forms part of the value of the supply of goods.
How we apply it: Agents who finance their buyers should document whether they invoice the goods themselves, since that determines whether the interest they collect is exempt or taxable.
Notification No. 65/2017-Central Tax dated 15.11.2017 · 2017-11-15
Section 24 of the CGST Act compels anyone supplying through an electronic commerce operator required to collect tax at source to register, regardless of turnover. This notification exempts from that compulsion persons supplying services, other than services under section 9(5), through such an operator, provided their aggregate turnover stays below the ordinary registration threshold. Suppliers of goods through platforms were not covered by this relief.
Why this matters: A small Chennai service provider listing on an app or marketplace need not register merely because of the platform, so long as turnover remains below the threshold.
State of West Bengal v. Calcutta Club Ltd — Supreme Court, (2019) 19 SCC 107, judgment dated 03-10-2019 · 2019-10-03
The Supreme Court held that the doctrine of mutuality survived the Forty-sixth Constitutional Amendment. Supplies of food, drink and services by an incorporated members' club to its own members are not a sale or a service to another person, so sales tax and service tax could not be levied. Note that GST law was later amended, with retrospective effect from 1 July 2017, to specifically tax supplies between a club or association and its members.
Why this matters: Chennai clubs, associations and resident welfare bodies cannot rely on mutuality under GST any longer, as the law was amended to override this ruling.
