The 11th and the 20th arrive every month whether you are ready or not. Our Chennai team keeps businesses in Purasawalkam permanently ahead of both, delivering GST Notice Reply from Rs.2,999 with reconciliation, senior review and WhatsApp acknowledgements as standard.
We serve businesses on and around Lettangs Road — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Purasawalkam is one of Chennai's oldest shopping districts, with jewellery showrooms, silk and textile retailers and footwear chains packed along Purasawalkam High Road and Vellala Street. Wedding-season turnover is heavy and largely B2C. Traders here routinely face GSTR-1 versus GSTR-3B mismatches and input tax credit reconciliation problems with wholesale suppliers in Sowcarpet, alongside e-invoice obligations once turnover crosses Rs.5 crore. We have supported businesses of exactly this profile with GST Notice Reply across Purasawalkam for years, along with clients from Kilpauk and Vepery. The engagement is simple: one point of contact, a clear fee, documents over WhatsApp or in person at our Chennai office, and senior review before anything is submitted on the portal. What you get in return is clean filings, archived records and far fewer reasons for the department to write to you.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
GSTR-1 by the 11th, GSTR-3B by the 20th, CMP-08 by the 18th after each quarter — we maintain a compliance calendar for every client and start chasing your data well before the due date, so late fees never enter the picture.
You are told the full fee before we begin, in writing. No surprise additions for uploads, revisions or acknowledgements. Government fees and taxes, where applicable, are shown separately, so businesses in Purasawalkam always know exactly what the engagement costs them.
Freight paid to transporters, advocate fees, imported services and other notified supplies attract GST under reverse charge, with self-invoicing where the supplier is unregistered. We maintain a running RCM check every period, because this is the liability self-filers most consistently miss.
If your GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B start drifting apart, if a large supplier stops filing, or if your turnover approaches the e-invoice threshold, we flag it to you immediately. Early warnings from our side are cheaper than departmental letters later.
Goods sent to job workers must move on delivery challans, return within the statutory period, and be reported in ITC-04. We track every outward and return leg for manufacturing clients in Purasawalkam, so inputs sent out for processing never quietly convert into a deemed supply carrying tax and interest.
Winding up attracts its own GST obligations — the cancellation application, reversal of credit on closing stock, and the final return in GSTR-10 within three months. We close registrations properly so a business you shut in Purasawalkam never writes back to you as a demand years later.
We read the notice line by line, identify the section invoked, the periods covered, the exact information sought and the deadline for response.
The figures alleged in the notice are reconciled against your filed returns, GSTR-2B and books, so the reply is grounded in verifiable numbers rather than assertions.
We draft a professional, point-wise reply addressing every allegation, attaching reconciliations, invoices and legal support, and share the draft with you for approval.
The approved reply is filed on the portal within the deadline. Where a small genuine liability exists, we advise payment through DRC-03 to limit interest and penalty.
We monitor the portal for the officer's response, attend to any further queries or hearing dates, and pursue the matter until a closure or order is received.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Draft reply in 3-5 working days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Rates, reverse charge, place of supply and blocked credits are applied correctly at the preparation stage, so you neither overpay tax you do not owe nor underpay and invite demands with penalty later.
Amounts deducted by government buyers as GST TDS and by marketplaces as TCS are accepted on the portal each period, so money withheld against your GSTIN actually reaches your cash ledger instead of lying unclaimed.
Correct e-way bills matched to correct invoices mean your consignments clear roadside inspections cleanly, avoiding detention proceedings whose penalties can far exceed the tax on the goods being carried.
New branches, new product lines and interstate sales all carry GST consequences. With standing professional support, you expand knowing registrations, invoicing and returns will keep pace with the business.
Whether moving between composition and regular scheme, opting into QRMP, or crossing the e-invoice threshold at Rs.5 crore, transitions are planned in advance rather than discovered after a compliance breach.
With returns filed ahead of the statutory due dates every period, the Rs.50-per-day GSTR-3B late fee simply stops appearing in your life, and the money stays in your business where it belongs.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Goods in transit | E-way bills generated correctly and matched to invoices, so consignments pass roadside inspections without detention or penalty. | A defective or missing e-way bill can mean detention at a checkpoint, with penalties that dwarf the tax on the consignment. |
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
| Risk of notices | GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciled before filing, removing the mismatches that trigger most scrutiny notices. | Inconsistent figures across returns quietly build a mismatch history that surfaces later as ASMT-10 scrutiny or a demand notice. |
| Registration and amendments | Query-resistant applications prepared correctly the first time, with supporting documents matched to what proper officers actually verify. | Repeated clarification memos and resubmissions, with weeks lost because a rent agreement or premises photograph did not meet expectations. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
Lettangs Road is a residential street in Purasawalkam, about 450 m south of the centre of Purasawalkam. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Gangadeeshwar Koil Street (about 300 m); Purasaivakkam High Road (about 300 m); Purasawalkam High Road (about 300 m); Chellappa Gramani Street (about 350 m) — so a site visit on Lettangs Road can usually be combined with other work in Purasawalkam on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Lettangs Road falls under the Chennai North CGST Commissionerate, and the Purasawalkam pincode is 600084.
Road classification and position from OpenStreetMap; distances are straight-line and approximate. Jurisdiction must be confirmed on your own registration certificate.
A working knowledge of recent instruments and judgments is what separates a defensible filing from a risky one.
18th GST Council Meeting, New Delhi — 30 June 2017 (Signed Minutes, Agenda Item 3) · 2017-06-30
Meeting on the day GST was launched, the Council revisited the rate on fertilisers. Officers calculated the pre-GST incidence at about 9.75 per cent, placing fertilisers between the five and twelve per cent slabs. After almost every State supported relief for farmers, the Chairperson recorded a consensus and the Council agreed to tax fertilisers at five per cent instead of twelve, notwithstanding the inverted duty refund burden this would create for manufacturers whose inputs were taxed at eighteen per cent.
Why this matters: The Council reopened a rate it had already fixed only weeks earlier, and the cut created the inverted duty structure that fertiliser dealers still claim refunds under.
Skill Lotto Solutions (P) Ltd v. Union of India — Supreme Court, 2020 · 2020-12-03
The Supreme Court upheld the levy of GST on lotteries, holding that the inclusion of actionable claims such as lottery, betting and gambling within the definition of 'goods' under Section 2(52) CGST Act is constitutionally valid and not discriminatory. It further held that GST is payable on the face value of lottery tickets, including the prize money component, rejecting the argument that prize money should be excluded from the taxable value.
What to do about it: The ruling confirms Parliament's wide power to tax actionable claims under GST — businesses in gaming, contests and promotional schemes should price for GST on gross face value.
Notification No. 13/2017-Central Tax dated 28.06.2017 · 2017-06-28
This notification fixed the rates of interest under the CGST Act. Interest on delayed payment of tax under section 50(1) is eighteen per cent per annum. Interest where credit is taken in excess or output liability is reduced in excess under section 50(3) is twenty four per cent per annum. Interest on delayed refunds under section 56 is six per cent per annum, rising to nine per cent where the refund arises from an appellate order.
How we apply it: Every interest computation in a Chennai demand notice or refund claim runs off these rates, and the eighteen and twenty four per cent distinction is frequently worth contesting.

No payment, no account. If the notice does not state a date we can read, it says so rather than guessing one for you.
