Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Choosing GST Notice Reply in Puthagaram is ultimately an act of trust: you are handing over sales figures, purchase records and portal access. Puthagaram runs from Retteri Junction to the Chennai Bypass along Puthagaram Road and the Perambur-Redhills High Road, sharing Kolathur's ornamental-fish trade, the car showrooms on the 100 Feet Road and rows of hardware and provision shops around Senthil Nagar, Vinayakapuram and Teachers Colony. Aquarium exporters here struggle with HSN classification and LUT filing, while showrooms face input tax credit reversal disputes on demonstration vehicles. We earn that trust the unglamorous way — fixed fees honoured, drafts approved by you before filing, acknowledgements shared the same day, and strict confidentiality throughout. Clients across Puthagaram, Kolathur and Surapet have stayed with us for years on precisely this basis.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
We are a Chennai firm with a physical office, not a faceless portal. If you prefer to sit across a table with your papers, you are welcome. Clients from Puthagaram regularly visit us for registrations, notice discussions and annual return reviews.
Businesses with registrations in more than one State, or multiple branches under one PAN, face cross-charge, stock transfer and input service distribution questions that single-GSTIN firms never see. We keep all your registrations consistent with each other, not just compliant individually.
GSTR-3B late fees run at Rs.50 per day and interest at 18 percent per annum on unpaid tax. Our internal cut-offs sit days ahead of statutory due dates precisely so that our clients never hand the department a rupee they did not owe.
Composition dealers have their own rulebook — CMP-08 every quarter, GSTR-4 annually by 30 June, bills of supply instead of tax invoices, and a turnover ceiling that must be watched. We handle each of these correctly so the scheme's simplicity never turns into a violation.
Send your query on call or WhatsApp and you hear back the same working day, usually within a few hours. When a due date is close or a notice has landed, waiting two days for a reply is simply not acceptable, and we know it.
E-invoicing is mandatory once turnover crosses Rs.5 crore and e-way bills apply to goods movements above Rs.50,000. We set up, train and troubleshoot both systems, so your despatches from Puthagaram are never held up by a compliance gap at the gate.
We read the notice line by line, identify the section invoked, the periods covered, the exact information sought and the deadline for response.
The figures alleged in the notice are reconciled against your filed returns, GSTR-2B and books, so the reply is grounded in verifiable numbers rather than assertions.
We draft a professional, point-wise reply addressing every allegation, attaching reconciliations, invoices and legal support, and share the draft with you for approval.
The approved reply is filed on the portal within the deadline. Where a small genuine liability exists, we advise payment through DRC-03 to limit interest and penalty.
We monitor the portal for the officer's response, attend to any further queries or hearing dates, and pursue the matter until a closure or order is received.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Draft reply in 3-5 working days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Large buyers check vendor GST compliance before releasing payments and renewing contracts. A clean filing record with timely GSTR-1 uploads keeps your invoices reflecting in their GSTR-2B and your payments unblocked.
Rates, reverse charge, place of supply and blocked credits are applied correctly at the preparation stage, so you neither overpay tax you do not owe nor underpay and invite demands with penalty later.
Whether moving between composition and regular scheme, opting into QRMP, or crossing the e-invoice threshold at Rs.5 crore, transitions are planned in advance rather than discovered after a compliance breach.
Sales returns, discounts and price revisions are adjusted through properly reported credit notes within the statutory window, so you never keep paying tax on turnover you have already reversed.
Because monthly data is reconciled as it happens, GSTR-9 preparation before the 31 December due date becomes a review exercise rather than a painful reconstruction of twelve untidy months.
Statutory windows such as thirty days for an ASMT-11 reply are tracked from the day a notice arrives, so responses go in on time, complete, and with your best case properly presented.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |
| Portal credentials and data | Logins handled by a small engaged team under strict confidentiality, with credentials stored securely and never passed onward. | Passwords circulating on chats with freelancers and part-timers, and no accountability for who has accessed your business data. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
4th Street is a residential street in Puthagaram, about 550 m south-west of the centre of Puthagaram. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — 3rd Street (about 50 m); Kadappa Road (about 300 m); 10th Street (about 400 m); Egappan Naichan Street (about 450 m) — so a site visit on 4th Street can usually be combined with other work in Puthagaram on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on 4th Street falls under the Chennai North CGST Commissionerate, and the Puthagaram pincode is 600099.

GST law moves through notifications, circulars and court decisions. These are the ones changing how filings are prepared right now.
Shree Dipesh Anilkumar Naik — AAR Gujarat, Advance Ruling No. GUJ/GAAR/R/2020/11, dated 19 May 2020; position subsequently clarified by CBIC Circular No. 177/09/2022-TRU, dated 3 August 2022 · 2020-05-19
A landowner obtained approval to develop agricultural land into residential plots and proposed to sell the plots after laying roads, drainage, water lines and other common facilities required by the plan sanction. The Gujarat Authority for Advance Ruling held that the sale price includes the value of development works, so the transaction is a taxable supply of construction service and not a bare sale of land. CBIC later clarified that sale of land after levelling, laying drainage lines and similar works is still sale of land under Schedule III and outside GST.
How we apply it: Plot developers should read the 2022 CBIC clarification alongside older adverse rulings before conceding GST on plot sales or on development charges.
Circular No. 31/05/2018-GST dated 9 February 2018 · 2018-02-09
CBIC assigned the proper officers for issuing show cause notices and orders under sections 73 and 74 of the CGST Act and section 20 of the IGST Act, with monetary limits based on the central tax and integrated tax involved. Superintendents were empowered for smaller demands, Deputy or Assistant Commissioners for the middle range, and Additional or Joint Commissioners above that. The circular was later amended by Circular No. 169/01/2022-GST.
Practical effect: When a DRC-01 arrives, check whether the officer who signed it had jurisdiction over that amount, because a notice issued beyond the monetary limit is open to challenge.
Notification No. 47/2019-Central Tax dated 09.10.2019 · 2019-10-09
This notification made the filing of the annual return in FORM GSTR-9 optional for registered persons whose aggregate turnover in a financial year did not exceed Rs 2 crore, for the financial years 2017-18 and 2018-19. It further provided that where such a person did not furnish the return before the due date, the annual return would be deemed to have been furnished on that date. The relief was later extended to subsequent years by separate notifications.
Why this matters: A small Chennai business that never filed GSTR-9 for FY 2017-18 or FY 2018-19 is not in default, because the return is deemed furnished.

Upload the PDF to our free GST Notice Analyser. It identifies which of 34 notice types you have, pulls out the DIN, GSTIN and tax period, reads the reply date printed on the notice and tells you plainly whether that date has already passed — along with the documents and reconciliations you will need. No payment, no account. If the notice does not state a date we can read, it says so rather than guessing one for you.
