From Rs.1,499, our team delivers New GST Registration for shops, service providers and manufacturers across Puthagaram. Local jurisdiction knowledge, deadline tracking and honest, upfront fees — the way GST compliance in Chennai should actually work.
We serve businesses on and around Kamarajar Street — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Businesses in Puthagaram looking for New GST Registration want two things: work done correctly and someone answerable when questions come. Puthagaram runs from Retteri Junction to the Chennai Bypass along Puthagaram Road and the Perambur-Redhills High Road, sharing Kolathur's ornamental-fish trade, the car showrooms on the 100 Feet Road and rows of hardware and provision shops around Senthil Nagar, Vinayakapuram and Teachers Colony. Aquarium exporters here struggle with HSN classification and LUT filing, while showrooms face input tax credit reversal disputes on demonstration vehicles. We serve this belt — including Kolathur and Surapet — with fixed fees quoted upfront, a written document checklist, and filings completed ahead of statutory due dates. Every acknowledgement is shared the day it is generated, and our support continues if the department raises any query on work we have filed.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
Composition dealers have their own rulebook — CMP-08 every quarter, GSTR-4 annually by 30 June, bills of supply instead of tax invoices, and a turnover ceiling that must be watched. We handle each of these correctly so the scheme's simplicity never turns into a violation.
If your GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B start drifting apart, if a large supplier stops filing, or if your turnover approaches the e-invoice threshold, we flag it to you immediately. Early warnings from our side are cheaper than departmental letters later.
OTP failures, DSC errors, stuck submissions on due-date evenings — we deal with the GST portal daily and know the workarounds. When the site misbehaves on the 20th, our team keeps retrying and escalating so your return still goes through.
Every new client receives a review of their recent returns before we file anything — unclaimed credit, GSTR-1 versus GSTR-3B drift, and exposures worth correcting quietly. Businesses in Puthagaram often discover in this first review exactly why their previous arrangement was costing them money.
Quarterly filing still demands monthly attention — IFF uploads so your buyers see their credit on time, and tax payment through PMT-06 by the 25th for the first two months of each quarter. We run that monthly rhythm so QRMP saves you effort without creating gaps.
Your work is executed by trained GST staff working under direct senior supervision, not passed to interns learning on your file. The person preparing your return understands reverse charge, blocked credits and place of supply, because getting these wrong costs you money.
You share PAN, Aadhaar, photographs, address proof and bank details over WhatsApp or email. We review each document against portal requirements and flag anything that could trigger an officer query.
We draft Form GST REG-01 with the correct business constitution, principal place of business, HSN or SAC codes and authorised signatory details, then share a summary for your confirmation.
The application is filed on the GST portal and we guide the authorised signatory through Aadhaar OTP authentication, which speeds up approval and usually avoids physical verification of premises.
We track the ARN daily. If the officer issues a notice in Form REG-03 seeking clarification, we draft and file the reply in Form REG-04 within the permitted time.
Once approved, we download your registration certificate in Form REG-06, help set up portal login credentials, and brief you on invoice format, return due dates and e-way bill obligations.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: 3-7 working days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
E-commerce platforms continuously validate seller GSTINs and filing status. A consistently compliant registration keeps your listings active and settlements flowing, with no sudden suspension of your online sales channel.
New branches, new product lines and interstate sales all carry GST consequences. With standing professional support, you expand knowing registrations, invoicing and returns will keep pace with the business.
Large buyers check vendor GST compliance before releasing payments and renewing contracts. A clean filing record with timely GSTR-1 uploads keeps your invoices reflecting in their GSTR-2B and your payments unblocked.
Because turnover in your GST returns is kept aligned with your accounts through the year, income tax filing and statutory audit proceed without the GST-versus-books mismatch queries that now surface routinely through data matching.
Rates, reverse charge, place of supply and blocked credits are applied correctly at the preparation stage, so you neither overpay tax you do not owe nor underpay and invite demands with penalty later.
Late-fee waivers and amnesty windows notified by the GST Council are applied to your history within their deadlines, capturing reliefs that most businesses only hear about once the window has already closed.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Refund claims | RFD-01 filed with complete statements and annexures, tracked from ARN to bank credit, with any deficiency memo answered promptly. | Incomplete claims bounce back as deficiency memos while the refund sits unclaimed for months and working capital stays blocked. |
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
| Risk of notices | GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciled before filing, removing the mismatches that trigger most scrutiny notices. | Inconsistent figures across returns quietly build a mismatch history that surfaces later as ASMT-10 scrutiny or a demand notice. |
| Portal credentials and data | Logins handled by a small engaged team under strict confidentiality, with credentials stored securely and never passed onward. | Passwords circulating on chats with freelancers and part-timers, and no accountability for who has accessed your business data. |
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
Kamarajar Street is a residential street in Puthagaram, about 1.5 km east of the centre of Puthagaram. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Gangaiamman Kovil Street (about 300 m); Amman Kovil Street (about 350 m); Ashoka Street (about 400 m); Bajanai Kovil Street (about 450 m) — so a site visit on Kamarajar Street can usually be combined with other work in Puthagaram on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Kamarajar Street falls under the Chennai North CGST Commissionerate, and the Puthagaram pincode is 600099.

Notification No. 46/2017-Central Tax dated 13.10.2017 · 2017-10-13
Acting on the GST Council's recommendation, this notification amended Notification 08/2017-Central Tax to raise the aggregate turnover eligibility ceiling for the composition levy from Rs 75 lakh to Rs 1 crore, with the ceiling for specified special category States raised from Rs 50 lakh to Rs 75 lakh. The change substantially widened the pool of small traders, manufacturers and restaurants able to pay tax at a flat rate on turnover.
Practical effect: A Chennai trader who had crossed Rs 75 lakh and been pushed out of composition became eligible again from this notification, which is the first of two upward revisions to the limit.
Rich Dairy Products (India) Pvt Ltd - AAR Tamil Nadu (2019), upheld by AAAR Tamil Nadu, Order No. TN/AAAR/01/2020 · 2019
The Namakkal manufacturer made carbonated beverages containing fruit juice and sought classification under the fruit pulp or fruit juice based drinks entry taxed at 12 percent. The Authority held that once carbon dioxide is added the product is classifiable under heading 2202 10 as waters containing added carbon dioxide and flavouring, and not as fruit juice under heading 2009, so the higher rate applicable to that entry along with compensation cess applies. The Appellate Authority upheld that view.
Why this matters: Chennai beverage makers must check whether the drink is carbonated before applying the 12 percent fruit drink rate.
9th GST Council Meeting, New Delhi — 16 January 2017 (Signed Minutes, Agenda Item 5) · 2017-01-16
With the revised model law still to be brought back to the Council, the fitment of rates incomplete and taxpayers needing time to configure their accounting systems, the Council unanimously agreed to extend the GST rollout date to 1 July 2017. Maharashtra, Assam and Bihar had pressed for 1 April 2017, Assam adding that changing the tax regime in the middle of a financial year was undesirable, but the Chairperson observed that the legal and rate work would spill into March 2017 and that an April deadline had become a major challenge. Tamil Nadu and Karnataka supported 1 July 2017 as the more practical date.
What to do about it: GST law in India runs from 1 July 2017, so the first return periods, the first annual return and all transitional credit deadlines are measured from that date.
