Most of it happens without you leaving your shop counter. Share your documents on WhatsApp, approve the prepared draft, and your GST Refund RFD-01 is completed on the portal from Rs.4,999 — by a Chennai team that businesses across Puzhuthivakkam have relied on for years.
We serve businesses on and around Vijayanagar 1st Main Road — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Puzhuthivakkam's commerce runs along Bazaar Road and Bazaar Main Road off Sabari Salai, where provision wholesalers, bakeries, silk shops and clinics serve the Union Carbide Colony, Hindu Colony and Vijayanagar blocks and the crowd around the Puzhuthivakkam Bus Stand. Traders stocking loose grains and pulses alongside pre-packaged and labelled goods repeatedly get the five per cent pre-packaged levy and the Rule 42 credit reversal on exempt turnover wrong. From a first registration to the annual return, the full range of GST Refund RFD-01 is available to Puzhuthivakkam businesses without stepping far from the shop or office — documents travel over WhatsApp, and our Chennai premises are open to anyone who prefers a face-to-face discussion. We serve Ullagaram and Madipakkam on the same footing, applying one rule everywhere: reconcile before filing, file before the due date, and keep the client informed at every stage.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
Every new client receives a review of their recent returns before we file anything — unclaimed credit, GSTR-1 versus GSTR-3B drift, and exposures worth correcting quietly. Businesses in Puzhuthivakkam often discover in this first review exactly why their previous arrangement was costing them money.
A new GSTIN comes with obligations nobody explains at approval — the invoice series rules, displaying the registration certificate and GSTIN at your premises, and the first return cycle. We walk new registrants in Puzhuthivakkam through each of these so month one starts correctly.
Your cash ledger, credit ledger and liability register are reviewed regularly, not just at filing time. Excess balances are flagged for use or refund, and where a genuine slip surfaces, a voluntary payment through DRC-03 settles it before it can mature into a notice.
If a query, ASMT-10 scrutiny notice or DRC-01 arrives on a return we filed, we stand behind our work and help you draft the reply. You are not left alone with a departmental letter and a thirty-day clock ticking against you.
Sellers on Amazon, Flipkart and other marketplaces face a three-way match between marketplace reports, GSTR-1 and the TCS the operator deposits against your GSTIN. We reconcile all three every period and accept the TCS credit, so sellers in Puzhuthivakkam never leave marketplace deductions unclaimed.
Traders, manufacturers, contractors, e-commerce sellers, professionals and service exporters — we have handled GST for all of them. Whatever mix of goods and services your Puzhuthivakkam business supplies, the rate, classification and place-of-supply questions have almost certainly crossed our desk before.
We identify the correct refund category, confirm the two-year limitation from the relevant date, and compute the admissible amount using the formula prescribed under the rules.
Invoices, shipping bills, FIRCs, the LUT and ledger extracts are compiled into the prescribed statements, and gaps that commonly cause deficiency memos are fixed upfront.
The refund application is filed on the portal with all annexures and declarations, and the acknowledgement in RFD-02 is tracked within the statutory fifteen days.
We respond to any deficiency memo in RFD-03 or show cause notice in RFD-08, appear through written submissions, and pursue provisional refund where the category permits.
We track the sanction order in RFD-06 and payment advice in RFD-05, confirm the credit in your validated bank account, and archive the complete claim file.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Application filed in 3-5 working days; sanction typically within 60 days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Where a genuine error is found in a past period, voluntary payment through DRC-03 before any notice issues closes the matter at minimal cost, instead of letting it ripen into a demand with penalty.
E-commerce platforms continuously validate seller GSTINs and filing status. A consistently compliant registration keeps your listings active and settlements flowing, with no sudden suspension of your online sales channel.
Illness, travel or a family function no longer threatens a deadline. With a standing external process holding your calendar and data trail, filings proceed on schedule whether or not you are at your desk.
Filed returns, challans, reconciliations and working papers are archived in order from day one. If an audit or departmental verification comes, your file is ready the same week, not assembled in a panic.
New branches, new product lines and interstate sales all carry GST consequences. With standing professional support, you expand knowing registrations, invoicing and returns will keep pace with the business.
Your scheme choice — regular, composition or QRMP — is re-examined as turnover and margins change, so you are always paying under the structure that legitimately costs your business the least.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
| Goods in transit | E-way bills generated correctly and matched to invoices, so consignments pass roadside inspections without detention or penalty. | A defective or missing e-way bill can mean detention at a checkpoint, with penalties that dwarf the tax on the consignment. |
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |
Vijayanagar 1st Main Road is a residential street in Puzhuthivakkam, about 1.6 km north-east of the centre of Puzhuthivakkam. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Vijayanagar 2nd Main Road (about 300 m); Ram Nagar Main Road (about 400 m); Annai Indhra Gandhi Road (about 700 m); Inner Ring Road (Southern Sector) (about 850 m) — so a site visit on Vijayanagar 1st Main Road can usually be combined with other work in Puzhuthivakkam on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Vijayanagar 1st Main Road falls under the Chennai South CGST Commissionerate, and the Puzhuthivakkam pincode is 600091.

ITC Ltd v. Commissioner of Central Excise, Kolkata-IV — Supreme Court, (2019) 17 SCC 46, judgment dated 18-09-2019 · 2019-09-18
The Supreme Court held that a claim for refund of duty cannot be entertained unless the underlying assessment order, including a self-assessment, has first been modified in appeal or other appropriate proceedings. The refund sanctioning authority cannot sit in judgment over an assessment that has attained finality. A taxpayer who paid excess duty must therefore challenge the assessment itself, not merely file a refund application.
What it means for you: A Chennai business that has over-declared tax in a return should correct or contest the return itself, since a refund claim alone may not succeed.
Notification No. 14/2021-Central Tax and Notification No. 24/2021-Central Tax · 2021-06-01
Invoking Section 168A once more, CBIC extended compliances whose due dates fell between 15 April 2021 and 29 June 2021 to 30 June 2021. The first notification of 1 May 2021 set the outer date at 31 May 2021 and the second of 1 June 2021 moved it to 30 June 2021. The relief covered completion of proceedings, passing of orders, issue of notices, filing of appeals, replies and applications, but excluded return filing and tax payment which were dealt with separately.
What it means for you: Any appeal, reply or refund application that fell due during the second wave gets the benefit of this extension, which is worth checking before conceding that a claim is time-barred.
Circular No. 225/19/2024-GST · 2024-07-11
Building on the earlier corporate guarantee circular, the Board clarified that the special valuation rule in Rule 28(2) applies to guarantees issued or renewed on or after 26 October 2023, and that the one per cent value is to be read as one per cent per annum of the guarantee amount, apportioned where the guarantee runs for a shorter period. It also confirmed that where the recipient is eligible for full input tax credit, the value declared in the invoice is deemed to be the open market value.
Practical effect: Chennai promoters and holding companies giving guarantees for group borrowings should compute the value annually and, where the borrower takes full credit, can adopt the invoice value.
