Our consultants provide GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing to businesses across Santhome starting at Rs.749. Every file is reconciled and senior-reviewed before submission, which is why our clients see far fewer departmental queries than they did while self-filing.
We serve businesses on and around Periyapillai Street — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Santhome stretches from the Light House end of Marina down Santhome High Road past San Thome Basilica, mixing schools such as St. Bede's, church-linked institutions, neighbourhood retail and the fishing settlement of Nochikuppam along Loop Road. Fresh fish sales are GST-exempt, but ice, packing and transport attract tax, so fisherfolk cooperatives and seafood sellers here need careful exempt-versus-taxable classification. Against that backdrop, GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing in Santhome demands more than data entry — it needs reconciliation before filing, correct classification and awareness of what local officers examine. Our Chennai team provides exactly that to clients in Santhome, Mylapore and Foreshore Estate, with same-day responses on working days and WhatsApp updates at every stage. Most routine engagements complete within one to two working days once documents are in hand.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
We are a Chennai firm with a physical office, not a faceless portal. If you prefer to sit across a table with your papers, you are welcome. Clients from Santhome regularly visit us for registrations, notice discussions and annual return reviews.
GSTR-3B late fees run at Rs.50 per day and interest at 18 percent per annum on unpaid tax. Our internal cut-offs sit days ahead of statutory due dates precisely so that our clients never hand the department a rupee they did not owe.
In the days before the 11th and the 20th, our team runs extended hours and a strict internal queue, so a client who sends data late in the window is still filed on time. Peak-season crush at our end never becomes a late fee at yours.
The annual return and, where turnover crosses Rs.5 crore, the self-certified reconciliation statement in GSTR-9C are prepared by the same team that filed your monthly returns. Nothing about your year has to be rediscovered or explained to a stranger in December.
You deal with one accountable person who knows your business, your turnover pattern and your filing history. No repeating your story to a new voice every month, and no file falling between two desks when a deadline is approaching.
Sellers on Amazon, Flipkart and other marketplaces face a three-way match between marketplace reports, GSTR-1 and the TCS the operator deposits against your GSTIN. We reconcile all three every period and accept the TCS credit, so sellers in Santhome never leave marketplace deductions unclaimed.
At month end we remind you and collect sales invoices, purchase bills and credit notes in whatever format you maintain, including Excel, Tally exports or scanned copies.
We prepare invoice-wise outward supply details, validate GSTINs of your B2B customers, summarise B2C supplies and file GSTR-1 on the portal before the 11th.
We download your auto-drafted GSTR-2B, match it against purchase records, and claim only eligible input tax credit so that mismatches do not trigger scrutiny notices later.
We compute net tax payable after ITC set-off, share the working with you for approval, and generate the payment challan for any cash liability.
After your confirmation and tax payment, we file GSTR-3B before the 20th and send you both filed acknowledgements along with a one-page summary of the month.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.

Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
The hours you or your accountant spent wrestling with the portal, JSON errors and reconciliations every month return to sales, operations and customers, while trained hands manage the compliance in the background.
Each period you receive a simple computation showing output tax, credit utilised and net cash payable, so GST becomes a number you understand and question rather than a figure you accept blindly.
Whether moving between composition and regular scheme, opting into QRMP, or crossing the e-invoice threshold at Rs.5 crore, transitions are planned in advance rather than discovered after a compliance breach.
Sales returns, discounts and price revisions are adjusted through properly reported credit notes within the statutory window, so you never keep paying tax on turnover you have already reversed.
Tax positions, rate choices and credit calls are documented as they are made, so if a question arises years later, the reasoning and evidence are on file rather than in someone's fading memory.
Late-fee waivers and amnesty windows notified by the GST Council are applied to your history within their deadlines, capturing reliefs that most businesses only hear about once the window has already closed.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
Periyapillai Street is a residential street in Santhome, about 300 m south-west of the centre of Santhome. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Arulappan Street (about 100 m); East Circular Road (about 100 m); Puthu Palli Street (about 150 m); Kanagaraya Malaiyappan Street (about 150 m) — so a site visit on Periyapillai Street can usually be combined with other work in Santhome on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Periyapillai Street falls under the Chennai North CGST Commissionerate, and the Santhome pincode is 600004.
Road classification and position from OpenStreetMap; distances are straight-line and approximate. Jurisdiction must be confirmed on your own registration certificate.
GST law moves through notifications, circulars and court decisions. These are the ones changing how filings are prepared right now.
GSTN Advisory — negative values in Table 3.1 of GSTR-3B, January 2025 · 2025-01
GSTN enabled reporting of negative values in Table 3.1 of GSTR-3B from the January 2025 period onwards. Where credit notes issued in a month exceed outward supplies, the net negative figure now auto-populates instead of being forced to zero. The resulting negative liability is carried in the taxpayer's records and automatically adjusted against the liability of subsequent tax periods, removing a long-standing distortion for businesses with heavy sales returns.
Why this matters: Businesses with seasonal returns or large credit notes no longer need workarounds; let the negative figure flow and track its set-off next month.
32nd GST Council Meeting, New Delhi — 10 January 2019 · 2019-01-10
The Council created two threshold limits for exemption from registration and payment of GST for suppliers of goods, Rs 40 lakh and Rs 20 lakh, and gave states a week to choose which limit would apply in their territory. The threshold for service providers was left unchanged at Rs 20 lakh, and at Rs 10 lakh for special category states. The change was made operational from 1 April 2019 and remains the basic registration test for traders and manufacturers today.
What it means for you: A Chennai trader dealing only in goods crosses the registration line at Rs 40 lakh of aggregate turnover, but a service provider must register at Rs 20 lakh.
Larsen & Toubro Ltd v. State of Karnataka — Supreme Court, (2014) 1 SCC 708, judgment dated 26-09-2013 · 2013-09-26
The Supreme Court held that where a developer enters into an agreement with a buyer before construction is completed, the construction carried out thereafter is executed for the buyer and constitutes a works contract liable to tax. Tax can be levied only on the value of goods incorporated after the agreement date, and the value of land must be excluded. This judgment underpins the current GST treatment of under-construction property sales.
Why this matters: Chennai builders must charge GST on units booked before completion, and must correctly exclude the land component from the taxable value.
