From Rs.1,499, our team delivers New GST Registration for shops, service providers and manufacturers across Surapet. Local jurisdiction knowledge, deadline tracking and honest, upfront fees — the way GST compliance in Chennai should actually work.
We serve businesses on and around Kadappa Road — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Finding dependable New GST Registration in Surapet usually means choosing between a distant online portal and an overloaded local accountant. Surapet Main Road and Water Canal Road link Puthagaram and Kolathur to the Chennai Bypass through a belt of small fabrication sheds, hardware and paint shops and provision stores that grew around Collector Nagar, Santhosh Nagar and Teachers Colony. Job-work units invoicing principal manufacturers in Ambattur routinely mishandle GST on labour charges, and composition-to-regular transitions are common as these workshops cross the turnover threshold. We offer a third option: a professional Chennai GST practice that treats Surapet, Puzhal and Puthagaram as home ground, responds the same working day, files ahead of deadlines, and stands behind its work if a notice ever arrives on a return we prepared.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
You receive a WhatsApp message when documents are received, when the draft is ready for your approval, and when the return or application is filed, along with the acknowledgement. You never have to call and ask what is happening with your file.
Your sales figures, supplier lists and login credentials are handled only by our engaged team, stored securely and never shared with any third party. Many of our clients in Surapet compete with each other; complete confidentiality is a condition of our work.
Your work is executed by trained GST staff working under direct senior supervision, not passed to interns learning on your file. The person preparing your return understands reverse charge, blocked credits and place of supply, because getting these wrong costs you money.
We are a Chennai firm with a physical office, not a faceless portal. If you prefer to sit across a table with your papers, you are welcome. Clients from Surapet regularly visit us for registrations, notice discussions and annual return reviews.
Quarterly filing still demands monthly attention — IFF uploads so your buyers see their credit on time, and tax payment through PMT-06 by the 25th for the first two months of each quarter. We run that monthly rhythm so QRMP saves you effort without creating gaps.
The annual return and, where turnover crosses Rs.5 crore, the self-certified reconciliation statement in GSTR-9C are prepared by the same team that filed your monthly returns. Nothing about your year has to be rediscovered or explained to a stranger in December.
You share PAN, Aadhaar, photographs, address proof and bank details over WhatsApp or email. We review each document against portal requirements and flag anything that could trigger an officer query.
We draft Form GST REG-01 with the correct business constitution, principal place of business, HSN or SAC codes and authorised signatory details, then share a summary for your confirmation.
The application is filed on the GST portal and we guide the authorised signatory through Aadhaar OTP authentication, which speeds up approval and usually avoids physical verification of premises.
We track the ARN daily. If the officer issues a notice in Form REG-03 seeking clarification, we draft and file the reply in Form REG-04 within the permitted time.
Once approved, we download your registration certificate in Form REG-06, help set up portal login credentials, and brief you on invoice format, return due dates and e-way bill obligations.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: 3-7 working days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
When GST knowledge lives inside a single staff member, their resignation becomes a compliance crisis. With our firm as the standing process, your filings continue uninterrupted regardless of internal staff changes.
Large buyers check vendor GST compliance before releasing payments and renewing contracts. A clean filing record with timely GSTR-1 uploads keeps your invoices reflecting in their GSTR-2B and your payments unblocked.
With the LUT filed at the start of each financial year and refund claims tracked to credit, exporters supply without blocking funds in IGST and recover accumulated credit on schedule.
When a query or verification comes, you respond through a professional who deals with the department regularly, in the department's own language and format, instead of facing an officer's letter alone.
Correct, complete tax invoices signal a well-run business to customers, vendors and banks alike, quietly strengthening your credibility in every transaction where your paperwork is seen.
Filed returns, challans, reconciliations and working papers are archived in order from day one. If an audit or departmental verification comes, your file is ready the same week, not assembled in a panic.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
| Portal credentials and data | Logins handled by a small engaged team under strict confidentiality, with credentials stored securely and never passed onward. | Passwords circulating on chats with freelancers and part-timers, and no accountability for who has accessed your business data. |
| Risk of notices | GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciled before filing, removing the mismatches that trigger most scrutiny notices. | Inconsistent figures across returns quietly build a mismatch history that surfaces later as ASMT-10 scrutiny or a demand notice. |
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |
| Refund claims | RFD-01 filed with complete statements and annexures, tracked from ARN to bank credit, with any deficiency memo answered promptly. | Incomplete claims bounce back as deficiency memos while the refund sits unclaimed for months and working capital stays blocked. |
| Goods in transit | E-way bills generated correctly and matched to invoices, so consignments pass roadside inspections without detention or penalty. | A defective or missing e-way bill can mean detention at a checkpoint, with penalties that dwarf the tax on the consignment. |
Kadappa Road is a secondary arterial road in Surapet, about 1.7 km south-east of the centre of Surapet. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Singaravelan Nagar Main Road (about 200 m); Shanthosh Nagar Main Road (about 300 m); Ranganathan Nagar 1st Street (about 350 m); Perumal Kovil Main Road (about 350 m) — so a site visit on Kadappa Road can usually be combined with other work in Surapet on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Kadappa Road falls under the Chennai North CGST Commissionerate, and the Surapet pincode is 600066.
Road classification and position from OpenStreetMap; distances are straight-line and approximate. Jurisdiction must be confirmed on your own registration certificate.

CBIC Instruction No. 04/2025-GST · 2025-05-02
To back up the registration processing instruction, CBIC required every CGST Zone to publicise a dedicated email address for registration grievances on its website and on the notice board of the concerned office. Applicants aggrieved by improper queries, unjustified rejection or delay may write to that address with the application reference number; the zone must examine the grievance, take corrective action and report the disposal to the Directorate General of GST periodically.
What to do about it: A registration rejected on flimsy grounds need not go straight to appeal; the zonal grievance email often gets the application reopened far faster.
Notification No. 08/2017-Central Tax dated 27.06.2017 · 2017-06-27
This notification set up the composition levy under section 10. It fixed the eligibility limit at an aggregate turnover of Rs 75 lakh in the preceding financial year, with a lower Rs 50 lakh limit for specified special category States, and prescribed the CGST rates of one per cent for manufacturers, two and a half per cent for restaurants, and half a per cent for other suppliers, with an equal State component payable alongside.
What to do about it: This is the origin of the composition scheme a Chennai trader may still be sitting in, though both the turnover limit and the rates have since been revised upward and downward respectively.
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd v. Union of India — Supreme Court, (2006) 3 SCC 1, judgment dated 02-03-2006 · 2006-03-02
The Supreme Court held that the same transaction may have a goods aspect and a service aspect, and different legislatures may tax different aspects, but the same element cannot be taxed twice. A composite contract cannot be split into goods and services except in the cases specifically permitted by Article 366(29A), such as works contracts and catering. The dominant nature test was applied to decide the character of the contract.
What it means for you: Chennai businesses with bundled offerings should determine the dominant character of the supply, since that decides classification and rate under GST.
