From Rs.4,999, our team delivers GST Refund RFD-01 for shops, service providers and manufacturers across Thousand Lights. Local jurisdiction knowledge, deadline tracking and honest, upfront fees — the way GST compliance in Chennai should actually work.
We serve businesses on and around GMM Street — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Thousand Lights is Chennai's medical and corporate core, where Apollo Hospitals and a chain of speciality clinics, labs and patient guest houses crowd Greams Road and Greams Lane off Anna Salai, near the landmark Thousand Lights Mosque. Hospitals earning exempt healthcare income alongside taxable pharmacy, room and canteen revenue must apportion input tax credit under Rules 42 and 43, the district's defining GST dispute. We have supported businesses of exactly this profile with GST Refund RFD-01 across Thousand Lights for years, along with clients from Nungambakkam and Egmore. The engagement is simple: one point of contact, a clear fee, documents over WhatsApp or in person at our Chennai office, and senior review before anything is submitted on the portal. What you get in return is clean filings, archived records and far fewer reasons for the department to write to you.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
Quarterly filing still demands monthly attention — IFF uploads so your buyers see their credit on time, and tax payment through PMT-06 by the 25th for the first two months of each quarter. We run that monthly rhythm so QRMP saves you effort without creating gaps.
Send your query on call or WhatsApp and you hear back the same working day, usually within a few hours. When a due date is close or a notice has landed, waiting two days for a reply is simply not acceptable, and we know it.
Your work is executed by trained GST staff working under direct senior supervision, not passed to interns learning on your file. The person preparing your return understands reverse charge, blocked credits and place of supply, because getting these wrong costs you money.
GSTR-1 by the 11th, GSTR-3B by the 20th, CMP-08 by the 18th after each quarter — we maintain a compliance calendar for every client and start chasing your data well before the due date, so late fees never enter the picture.
No filing leaves our desk on a junior's judgement alone. A senior GST practitioner reviews your figures, ITC claims and tax computation before submission, so errors are caught at our table and not by the department months later through a notice.
You receive a WhatsApp message when documents are received, when the draft is ready for your approval, and when the return or application is filed, along with the acknowledgement. You never have to call and ask what is happening with your file.
We identify the correct refund category, confirm the two-year limitation from the relevant date, and compute the admissible amount using the formula prescribed under the rules.
Invoices, shipping bills, FIRCs, the LUT and ledger extracts are compiled into the prescribed statements, and gaps that commonly cause deficiency memos are fixed upfront.
The refund application is filed on the portal with all annexures and declarations, and the acknowledgement in RFD-02 is tracked within the statutory fifteen days.
We respond to any deficiency memo in RFD-03 or show cause notice in RFD-08, appear through written submissions, and pursue provisional refund where the category permits.
We track the sanction order in RFD-06 and payment advice in RFD-05, confirm the credit in your validated bank account, and archive the complete claim file.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Application filed in 3-5 working days; sanction typically within 60 days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Correct e-way bills matched to correct invoices mean your consignments clear roadside inspections cleanly, avoiding detention proceedings whose penalties can far exceed the tax on the goods being carried.
Systematic GSTR-2B matching and supplier follow-up mean input tax credit that was leaking away under self-filing is captured each month, directly reducing the cash you pay out with every GSTR-3B.
A fixed professional fee is almost always cheaper than the combination of late fees, interest, lost credit and staff hours that informal, last-minute compliance quietly accumulates over a year.
Excess balances parked in the electronic cash ledger are identified during regular ledger reviews and either utilised against upcoming liability or claimed back as a refund, instead of sitting interest-free with the government.
Filed returns, challans, reconciliations and working papers are archived in order from day one. If an audit or departmental verification comes, your file is ready the same week, not assembled in a panic.
Tax positions, rate choices and credit calls are documented as they are made, so if a question arises years later, the reasoning and evidence are on file rather than in someone's fading memory.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| Registration and amendments | Query-resistant applications prepared correctly the first time, with supporting documents matched to what proper officers actually verify. | Repeated clarification memos and resubmissions, with weeks lost because a rent agreement or premises photograph did not meet expectations. |
| Refund claims | RFD-01 filed with complete statements and annexures, tracked from ARN to bank credit, with any deficiency memo answered promptly. | Incomplete claims bounce back as deficiency memos while the refund sits unclaimed for months and working capital stays blocked. |
| Goods in transit | E-way bills generated correctly and matched to invoices, so consignments pass roadside inspections without detention or penalty. | A defective or missing e-way bill can mean detention at a checkpoint, with penalties that dwarf the tax on the consignment. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
GMM Street is a residential street in Thousand Lights, about 300 m west of the centre of Thousand Lights. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Gulam Abbas Ali Khan 1st Street (about 100 m); Shafee Mohammed Road (about 100 m); GAA 2nd Street (about 150 m); GAA 3rd Street (about 150 m) — so a site visit on GMM Street can usually be combined with other work in Thousand Lights on the same trip. Britannia Industries Ltd v. Union of India — Gujarat High Court, R/Special Civil Application No. 15473 of 2019, judgment dated 11 March 2020 · 2020-03-11
An SEZ unit had accumulated unutilised IGST credit distributed to it by its Input Service Distributor. The refund was rejected on the ground that Rule 89 permits only the supplier to SEZ to claim refund. The High Court allowed the refund of about Rs. 99 lakh, holding that where an ISD has already distributed the credit there is no supplier who can claim it, and that a circular cannot override Section 54 of the CGST Act to leave the credit permanently stranded.
Practical effect: If credit is genuinely stuck with no other route to recover it, a rigid reading of the refund rules or a circular is not a valid ground for rejection.
Notification No. 33/2023-Central Tax · 2023-07-31
CBIC notified 'Account Aggregator', as defined under the RBI's NBFC-Account Aggregator directions, as a system with which the GST common portal may share taxpayer information under Section 158A. Sharing happens only with the taxpayer's explicit consent and covers registration particulars, returns filed and outward supply details. The framework lets banks and NBFCs verify GST turnover digitally instead of relying on manually submitted statements when assessing working capital and MSME loan applications.
Practical effect: Keeping GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B filings current now directly improves loan eligibility, because lenders can pull verified GST turnover straight from the portal with your consent.
4th GST Council Meeting, New Delhi — 3-4 November 2016 (Signed Minutes, Agenda Item 3) · 2016-11-03
Summing up a long debate over five-band and six-band options, the Chairperson proposed and the Council accepted a structure with one exempt category covering food grains and similar essentials, a lower rate of five per cent for goods consumed by vulnerable sections, standard rates of 12 and 18 per cent, and a higher slab of 28 per cent. A committee of officers was directed to fit individual goods and services into those slabs. Proposals for a 40 per cent slab were rejected.
Practical effect: Every rate dispute a Chennai business faces today traces back to this four-slab architecture and to the fitment exercise it launched.
