The 11th and the 20th arrive every month whether you are ready or not. Our Chennai team keeps businesses in Tiruvottiyur permanently ahead of both, delivering New GST Registration from Rs.1,499 with reconciliation, senior review and WhatsApp acknowledgements as standard.
We serve businesses on and around Chennai Port Entry Road — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Finding dependable New GST Registration in Tiruvottiyur usually means choosing between a distant online portal and an overloaded local accountant. Tiruvottiyur is North Chennai's old factory belt, where engineering, chemical and consumer goods plants sit along Thiruvottiyur High Road and Ennore High Road near the Vadivudai Amman temple, with scrap yards and transport contractors filling the side lanes towards Sathangadu. Units crossing Rs.5 crore turnover must issue e-invoices, and freight-heavy dispatches make reverse charge on goods transport agency bills a monthly checkpoint. We offer a third option: a professional Chennai GST practice that treats Tiruvottiyur, Ennore and Manali as home ground, responds the same working day, files ahead of deadlines, and stands behind its work if a notice ever arrives on a return we prepared.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
Every new client receives a review of their recent returns before we file anything — unclaimed credit, GSTR-1 versus GSTR-3B drift, and exposures worth correcting quietly. Businesses in Tiruvottiyur often discover in this first review exactly why their previous arrangement was costing them money.
Whenever the GST Council notifies a late-fee waiver or an amnesty window for pending returns or old demands, we check every client's history against it and act within the deadline. Relief that businesses in Tiruvottiyur would otherwise read about after it lapsed reaches our clients in time.
Every acknowledgement, challan, computation sheet and filed return is saved and shared with you in an organised folder. When a bank, buyer or GST officer asks for a document from two years ago, it reaches you the same day without any scrambling.
Goods sent to job workers must move on delivery challans, return within the statutory period, and be reported in ITC-04. We track every outward and return leg for manufacturing clients in Tiruvottiyur, so inputs sent out for processing never quietly convert into a deemed supply carrying tax and interest.
GSTR-1 by the 11th, GSTR-3B by the 20th, CMP-08 by the 18th after each quarter — we maintain a compliance calendar for every client and start chasing your data well before the due date, so late fees never enter the picture.
Most GST notices trace back to mismatches between GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B. We reconcile these before filing, not after a notice arrives, so your returns are internally consistent and the most common triggers for ASMT-10 scrutiny simply never appear.
You share PAN, Aadhaar, photographs, address proof and bank details over WhatsApp or email. We review each document against portal requirements and flag anything that could trigger an officer query.
We draft Form GST REG-01 with the correct business constitution, principal place of business, HSN or SAC codes and authorised signatory details, then share a summary for your confirmation.
The application is filed on the GST portal and we guide the authorised signatory through Aadhaar OTP authentication, which speeds up approval and usually avoids physical verification of premises.
We track the ARN daily. If the officer issues a notice in Form REG-03 seeking clarification, we draft and file the reply in Form REG-04 within the permitted time.
Once approved, we download your registration certificate in Form REG-06, help set up portal login credentials, and brief you on invoice format, return due dates and e-way bill obligations.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: 3-7 working days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Sales returns, discounts and price revisions are adjusted through properly reported credit notes within the statutory window, so you never keep paying tax on turnover you have already reversed.
Large buyers check vendor GST compliance before releasing payments and renewing contracts. A clean filing record with timely GSTR-1 uploads keeps your invoices reflecting in their GSTR-2B and your payments unblocked.
Statutory windows such as thirty days for an ASMT-11 reply are tracked from the day a notice arrives, so responses go in on time, complete, and with your best case properly presented.
Rates, reverse charge, place of supply and blocked credits are applied correctly at the preparation stage, so you neither overpay tax you do not owe nor underpay and invite demands with penalty later.
Filed returns, challans, reconciliations and working papers are archived in order from day one. If an audit or departmental verification comes, your file is ready the same week, not assembled in a panic.
Excess balances parked in the electronic cash ledger are identified during regular ledger reviews and either utilised against upcoming liability or claimed back as a refund, instead of sitting interest-free with the government.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Risk of notices | GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciled before filing, removing the mismatches that trigger most scrutiny notices. | Inconsistent figures across returns quietly build a mismatch history that surfaces later as ASMT-10 scrutiny or a demand notice. |
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
| Refund claims | RFD-01 filed with complete statements and annexures, tracked from ARN to bank credit, with any deficiency memo answered promptly. | Incomplete claims bounce back as deficiency memos while the refund sits unclaimed for months and working capital stays blocked. |
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |

Circular No. 187/19/2022-GST · 2022-12-27
Where a resolution plan is approved by the adjudicating authority under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code and the government's claim is scaled down, the tax department cannot continue to pursue the original demand. The Board directed officers to give effect to the approved plan by issuing an intimation in FORM GST DRC-25 under Rule 161, reducing the demand in the recovery records to the amount admitted in the plan, and to close recovery proceedings for the balance.
How we apply it: If a Chennai company has come out of insolvency, insist on a DRC-25 intimation so that the old demand stops appearing in the recovery register and blocking registration or refunds.
Krishna Bhavan Foods and Sweets - AAR Tamil Nadu, Order No. TN/24/AAR/2021, dated 18 June 2021, upheld by AAAR Tamil Nadu, Order No. TN/AAAR/02/2022, dated 13 January 2022 · 2021-06-18
The applicant sold packaged ready to cook instant mixes for dosai, idli, tiffin items, sweets, health mix and porridge. It argued that these were only flours of cereals and pulses taxable at 5 percent. The Authority classified the products under heading 2106 90 as food preparations not elsewhere specified, attracting 18 percent GST, because the mixing and added ingredients took them out of the concessional flour entries. The Appellate Authority upheld that classification.
Why this matters: Chennai food manufacturers selling instant mixes should confirm whether the product is a plain flour or a preparation before applying 5 percent.
Imagic Creative (P) Ltd v. Commissioner of Commercial Taxes — Supreme Court, (2008) 2 SCC 614, judgment dated 09-01-2008 · 2008-01-09
An advertising agency was charged value added tax on the entire consideration although service tax had already been paid on the design element. The Supreme Court held that payments of service tax and of value added tax are mutually exclusive, so in a composite contract the value attributable to the service component cannot also be subjected to sales tax, and the two levies must attach to distinct parts of the transaction. Double taxation of the same value is impermissible.
What to do about it: For Chennai agencies, printers and works contractors, the goods and service components of a composite contract should be clearly valued in the agreement and the invoice so that only one tax attaches to each element of value.
