One WhatsApp message is how most of our client relationships began. Send yours today and have GST Refund RFD-01 in Vadapalani handled end to end from Rs.4,999 — fee confirmed in writing first, documents straight from your phone, acknowledgement the day we file.
We serve businesses on and around Raghavan Colony — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Vadapalani mixes temple commerce around the Vadapalani Andavar temple with film studios, hotels and mall retail along Arcot Road and the Inner Ring Road, including Forum Vijaya Mall. Restaurants and food outlets juggle the 5 per cent no-ITC rate against 18 per cent banquet contracts, while mall retailers must reconcile e-commerce and POS turnover before filing GSTR-1 by the 11th. Years of working in and around Vadapalani have shown us where GST trouble actually begins here — supplier defaults, classification doubts and deadlines lost in busy trading weeks. Our GST Refund RFD-01 is built to close precisely those gaps, and the same team supports businesses in Kodambakkam and Saligramam, each with one point of contact and a compliance calendar maintained on their behalf.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
No filing leaves our desk on a junior's judgement alone. A senior GST practitioner reviews your figures, ITC claims and tax computation before submission, so errors are caught at our table and not by the department months later through a notice.
Tally, Zoho Books, Busy, marketplace reports, plain Excel or even a handwritten bill book — we take your data in whatever form your Vadapalani business already maintains it. You are never forced to buy new software or retrain staff just to become our client.
Composition dealers have their own rulebook — CMP-08 every quarter, GSTR-4 annually by 30 June, bills of supply instead of tax invoices, and a turnover ceiling that must be watched. We handle each of these correctly so the scheme's simplicity never turns into a violation.
Your work is executed by trained GST staff working under direct senior supervision, not passed to interns learning on your file. The person preparing your return understands reverse charge, blocked credits and place of supply, because getting these wrong costs you money.
A registration cancelled for non-filing is not the end of the road. We bring the pending returns up to date, clear the dues and file the revocation application in REG-21 within the permitted window, restoring suspended and cancelled GSTINs to active status.
GST is confusing enough without a language barrier. Our team explains notices, tax positions and filing requirements in plain Tamil or English, whichever you and your staff in Vadapalani are comfortable with, and keeps written communication simple and jargon-free.
We identify the correct refund category, confirm the two-year limitation from the relevant date, and compute the admissible amount using the formula prescribed under the rules.
Invoices, shipping bills, FIRCs, the LUT and ledger extracts are compiled into the prescribed statements, and gaps that commonly cause deficiency memos are fixed upfront.
The refund application is filed on the portal with all annexures and declarations, and the acknowledgement in RFD-02 is tracked within the statutory fifteen days.
We respond to any deficiency memo in RFD-03 or show cause notice in RFD-08, appear through written submissions, and pursue provisional refund where the category permits.
We track the sanction order in RFD-06 and payment advice in RFD-05, confirm the credit in your validated bank account, and archive the complete claim file.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Application filed in 3-5 working days; sanction typically within 60 days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
The 11th and the 20th stop being days of dread. You approve a prepared draft, we file, and the acknowledgement lands on your WhatsApp — month after month, without drama.
Filed returns, challans, reconciliations and working papers are archived in order from day one. If an audit or departmental verification comes, your file is ready the same week, not assembled in a panic.
Each period you receive a simple computation showing output tax, credit utilised and net cash payable, so GST becomes a number you understand and question rather than a figure you accept blindly.
When a query or verification comes, you respond through a professional who deals with the department regularly, in the department's own language and format, instead of facing an officer's letter alone.
Rates, reverse charge, place of supply and blocked credits are applied correctly at the preparation stage, so you neither overpay tax you do not owe nor underpay and invite demands with penalty later.
Where a genuine error is found in a past period, voluntary payment through DRC-03 before any notice issues closes the matter at minimal cost, instead of letting it ripen into a demand with penalty.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Risk of notices | GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciled before filing, removing the mismatches that trigger most scrutiny notices. | Inconsistent figures across returns quietly build a mismatch history that surfaces later as ASMT-10 scrutiny or a demand notice. |
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
Raghavan Colony is a residential street in Vadapalani, about 2.2 km south-east of the centre of Vadapalani. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — 7th Street (about 1.4 km); 2nd Avenue (about 1.4 km); 21st Avenue (about 1.6 km); 91st Street (about 1.6 km) — so a site visit on Raghavan Colony can usually be combined with other work in Vadapalani on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Raghavan Colony falls under the Chennai South CGST Commissionerate, and the Vadapalani pincode is 600026.

Commissioner of Central Excise, Bolpur v. Ratan Melting and Wire Industries — Supreme Court, Constitution Bench, (2008) 13 SCC 1, judgment dated 14-10-2008 · 2008-10-14
A five-judge Bench held that circulars issued by the Board cannot prevail over the statute, and are not binding on courts. Where the Supreme Court or a High Court has declared the law on an issue, that declaration prevails and any contrary circular ceases to have effect. Circulars remain an aid to administration and can bind officers, but they cannot enlarge or restrict what the legislature has enacted.
Why this matters: Chennai businesses should treat CBIC circulars as useful administrative guidance, but should not rely on one that conflicts with the plain words of the GST Act.
Circular No. 149/05/2021-GST dated 17.06.2021 · 2021-06-17
CBIC clarified that serving food in schools under the mid-day meal programme is exempt from GST, and that the exemption extends to pre-schools and anganwadis, which are covered within the meaning of an educational institution providing pre-school education. It further clarified that the exemption applies whether the meals are funded by government grants or by corporate donations, since the entry does not distinguish by source of funding. The clarification protected non-profit caterers running school feeding programmes from demands.
Why this matters: Chennai caterers running school or anganwadi meal contracts are exempt, but should keep the scheme documentation on file to answer any scrutiny.
Entry 12, Notification No. 12/2017-Central Tax (Rate) dated 28.06.2017 · 2017-06-28
As originally notified, Entry 12 exempted renting of a residential dwelling for use as residence, without any condition about who the tenant was. From 1 July 2017 to 17 July 2022 a house or flat let out for residential use carried no GST, whether the tenant was an individual, a firm or a company. The entry was narrowed with effect from 18 July 2022 so that the exemption no longer applies where the tenant is a registered person.
Why this matters: For rent periods up to 17 July 2022 a Chennai landlord had no GST liability on residential letting, which is a useful defence if an old notice questions those years.
