Most of it happens without you leaving your shop counter. Share your documents on WhatsApp, approve the prepared draft, and your GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing is completed on the portal from Rs.749 — by a Chennai team that businesses across Vadapalani have relied on for years.
We serve businesses on and around North Mada Street — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Vadapalani mixes temple commerce around the Vadapalani Andavar temple with film studios, hotels and mall retail along Arcot Road and the Inner Ring Road, including Forum Vijaya Mall. Restaurants and food outlets juggle the 5 per cent no-ITC rate against 18 per cent banquet contracts, while mall retailers must reconcile e-commerce and POS turnover before filing GSTR-1 by the 11th. We have supported businesses of exactly this profile with GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing across Vadapalani for years, along with clients from Kodambakkam and Saligramam. The engagement is simple: one point of contact, a clear fee, documents over WhatsApp or in person at our Chennai office, and senior review before anything is submitted on the portal. What you get in return is clean filings, archived records and far fewer reasons for the department to write to you.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
GST is confusing enough without a language barrier. Our team explains notices, tax positions and filing requirements in plain Tamil or English, whichever you and your staff in Vadapalani are comfortable with, and keeps written communication simple and jargon-free.
Every new client receives a review of their recent returns before we file anything — unclaimed credit, GSTR-1 versus GSTR-3B drift, and exposures worth correcting quietly. Businesses in Vadapalani often discover in this first review exactly why their previous arrangement was costing them money.
You receive a WhatsApp message when documents are received, when the draft is ready for your approval, and when the return or application is filed, along with the acknowledgement. You never have to call and ask what is happening with your file.
You are told the full fee before we begin, in writing. No surprise additions for uploads, revisions or acknowledgements. Government fees and taxes, where applicable, are shown separately, so businesses in Vadapalani always know exactly what the engagement costs them.
Winding up attracts its own GST obligations — the cancellation application, reversal of credit on closing stock, and the final return in GSTR-10 within three months. We close registrations properly so a business you shut in Vadapalani never writes back to you as a demand years later.
Your cash ledger, credit ledger and liability register are reviewed regularly, not just at filing time. Excess balances are flagged for use or refund, and where a genuine slip surfaces, a voluntary payment through DRC-03 settles it before it can mature into a notice.
At month end we remind you and collect sales invoices, purchase bills and credit notes in whatever format you maintain, including Excel, Tally exports or scanned copies.
We prepare invoice-wise outward supply details, validate GSTINs of your B2B customers, summarise B2C supplies and file GSTR-1 on the portal before the 11th.
We download your auto-drafted GSTR-2B, match it against purchase records, and claim only eligible input tax credit so that mismatches do not trigger scrutiny notices later.
We compute net tax payable after ITC set-off, share the working with you for approval, and generate the payment challan for any cash liability.
After your confirmation and tax payment, we file GSTR-3B before the 20th and send you both filed acknowledgements along with a one-page summary of the month.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Filed before the 11th and 20th of every month · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Rs.7,999/year
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Amounts deducted by government buyers as GST TDS and by marketplaces as TCS are accepted on the portal each period, so money withheld against your GSTIN actually reaches your cash ledger instead of lying unclaimed.
Correct e-way bills matched to correct invoices mean your consignments clear roadside inspections cleanly, avoiding detention proceedings whose penalties can far exceed the tax on the goods being carried.
A fixed professional fee is almost always cheaper than the combination of late fees, interest, lost credit and staff hours that informal, last-minute compliance quietly accumulates over a year.
When a query or verification comes, you respond through a professional who deals with the department regularly, in the department's own language and format, instead of facing an officer's letter alone.
Correct, complete tax invoices signal a well-run business to customers, vendors and banks alike, quietly strengthening your credibility in every transaction where your paperwork is seen.
Systematic GSTR-2B matching and supplier follow-up mean input tax credit that was leaking away under self-filing is captured each month, directly reducing the cash you pay out with every GSTR-3B.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
| Risk of notices | GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciled before filing, removing the mismatches that trigger most scrutiny notices. | Inconsistent figures across returns quietly build a mismatch history that surfaces later as ASMT-10 scrutiny or a demand notice. |
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
North Mada Street is a residential street in Vadapalani, about 400 m north of the centre of Vadapalani. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Nerkundrampadai Road (East) (about 250 m); Nerkundrampadai Road (West) (about 300 m); N.S.K. Salai (about 350 m); NSK Salai (about 350 m) — so a site visit on North Mada Street can usually be combined with other work in Vadapalani on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on North Mada Street falls under the Chennai South CGST Commissionerate, and the Vadapalani pincode is 600026.

Greenwood Owners Association v. Union of India — Madras High Court, 2021 · 2021-07-01
Resident welfare associations challenged the CBIC circular and AAR view that once monthly maintenance exceeds Rs 7,500 per member, GST applies on the entire amount. The Madras High Court held that the exemption operates up to Rs 7,500, and only the amount in excess of that threshold is taxable — the term 'up to' marks a clear slab. The circular's contrary interpretation was quashed as contrary to the exemption notification.
Why this matters: Chennai apartment associations collecting over Rs 7,500 per month per flat should charge GST only on the excess over Rs 7,500, relying on this jurisdictional ruling.
Circular No. 178/10/2022-GST · 2022-08-03
This is the leading circular on the agreeing to tolerate an act entry. The Board held that liquidated damages paid for breach of contract are a flow of money compensating for injury, not consideration for any service, so no GST applies. The same reasoning covers notice pay recovered from employees, cheque dishonour charges, fines and penalties for violation of a contract or a law, and forfeiture of salary or bond amounts, unless there is a genuine independent agreement to tolerate an act. A late payment surcharge or fee is treated differently, as it is naturally bundled with the principal supply and forms part of its value.
How we apply it: Chennai employers and contractors should resist departmental demands on notice pay recovery and liquidated damages by citing this circular in the reply itself.
Notification No. 63/2020-Central Tax · 2020-08-25
This notification brought into force, with effect from 1 September 2020, the amendment to Section 50 of the CGST Act made by the Finance (No. 2) Act, 2019. The amendment provides that where a return is filed late, interest is charged only on that portion of the tax liability which is discharged in cash through the electronic cash ledger, and not on the part settled from input tax credit. Because it was made effective only prospectively, it caused considerable litigation over earlier periods.
Why this matters: For any delayed GSTR-3B, interest should be computed on the cash component alone, and a gross-liability interest demand should be challenged.
