The 11th and the 20th arrive every month whether you are ready or not. Our Chennai team keeps businesses in Alwarpet permanently ahead of both, delivering GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing from Rs.749 with reconciliation, senior review and WhatsApp acknowledgements as standard.
We serve businesses on and around Chitranjan Road — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Finding dependable GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing in Alwarpet usually means choosing between a distant online portal and an overloaded local accountant. Alwarpet pairs boutique retail and fine dining with speciality hospitals and professional firms along TTK Road, Eldams Road and C.P. Ramaswamy Road. Clinics mixing exempt healthcare with taxable pharmacy and room income face ITC apportionment disputes, while the area's architects, designers and consultancies must manage RCM on imported services, advance receipts and 18 per cent output billing. We offer a third option: a professional Chennai GST practice that treats Alwarpet, Mylapore and Teynampet as home ground, responds the same working day, files ahead of deadlines, and stands behind its work if a notice ever arrives on a return we prepared.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
You deal with one accountable person who knows your business, your turnover pattern and your filing history. No repeating your story to a new voice every month, and no file falling between two desks when a deadline is approaching.
Send your query on call or WhatsApp and you hear back the same working day, usually within a few hours. When a due date is close or a notice has landed, waiting two days for a reply is simply not acceptable, and we know it.
Your cash ledger, credit ledger and liability register are reviewed regularly, not just at filing time. Excess balances are flagged for use or refund, and where a genuine slip surfaces, a voluntary payment through DRC-03 settles it before it can mature into a notice.
GSTR-3B late fees run at Rs.50 per day and interest at 18 percent per annum on unpaid tax. Our internal cut-offs sit days ahead of statutory due dates precisely so that our clients never hand the department a rupee they did not owe.
Winding up attracts its own GST obligations — the cancellation application, reversal of credit on closing stock, and the final return in GSTR-10 within three months. We close registrations properly so a business you shut in Alwarpet never writes back to you as a demand years later.
From filing the LUT in RFD-11 at the start of each financial year to preparing RFD-01 refund claims with complete annexures, we know what makes a refund file move. Exporters and inverted-duty businesses come to us specifically for this.
At month end we remind you and collect sales invoices, purchase bills and credit notes in whatever format you maintain, including Excel, Tally exports or scanned copies.
We prepare invoice-wise outward supply details, validate GSTINs of your B2B customers, summarise B2C supplies and file GSTR-1 on the portal before the 11th.
We download your auto-drafted GSTR-2B, match it against purchase records, and claim only eligible input tax credit so that mismatches do not trigger scrutiny notices later.
We compute net tax payable after ITC set-off, share the working with you for approval, and generate the payment challan for any cash liability.
After your confirmation and tax payment, we file GSTR-3B before the 20th and send you both filed acknowledgements along with a one-page summary of the month.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Filed before the 11th and 20th of every month · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Rs.7,999/year
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Each period you receive a simple computation showing output tax, credit utilised and net cash payable, so GST becomes a number you understand and question rather than a figure you accept blindly.
Advances received for services attract GST on receipt while advances for goods generally do not; applying this distinction correctly means you neither prepay tax unnecessarily nor omit a liability that surfaces later with interest.
We spot suppliers who stop uploading invoices or filing returns and alert you before their default becomes your blocked credit, letting you recover amounts or switch vendors while the exposure is still small.
With returns filed ahead of the statutory due dates every period, the Rs.50-per-day GSTR-3B late fee simply stops appearing in your life, and the money stays in your business where it belongs.
Tax positions, rate choices and credit calls are documented as they are made, so if a question arises years later, the reasoning and evidence are on file rather than in someone's fading memory.
New branches, new product lines and interstate sales all carry GST consequences. With standing professional support, you expand knowing registrations, invoicing and returns will keep pace with the business.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
| Portal credentials and data | Logins handled by a small engaged team under strict confidentiality, with credentials stored securely and never passed onward. | Passwords circulating on chats with freelancers and part-timers, and no accountability for who has accessed your business data. |
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
Chitranjan Road is a main connecting road in Alwarpet, about 700 m west of the centre of Alwarpet. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Cenotaph 1st Street (about 100 m); Alwarpet Street (about 350 m); Kavingar Bharathidasan Road (about 350 m); TTK 1st Cross (about 350 m) — so a site visit on Chitranjan Road can usually be combined with other work in Alwarpet on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Chitranjan Road falls under the Chennai North CGST Commissionerate, and the Alwarpet pincode is 600018.

GST law moves through notifications, circulars and court decisions. These are the ones changing how filings are prepared right now.
Notification No. 21/2019-Central Tax dated 23.04.2019 · 2019-04-23
This notification prescribed the compliance procedure for persons paying tax under the composition levy and for those availing the alternative six per cent scheme for service providers. Such persons must furnish a quarterly statement of self-assessed tax in FORM GST CMP-08 by the eighteenth day of the month following the quarter, and a return in FORM GSTR-4 annually by the thirtieth day of April following the end of the financial year.
What to do about it: A Chennai composition dealer files four CMP-08 statements and one annual GSTR-4 each year, and the older quarterly GSTR-4 return no longer applies.
Circular No. 142/12/2020-GST dated 9 October 2020 · 2020-10-09
As a Covid relief measure, the rule 36(4) credit restriction was not applied separately for each of the tax periods February to August 2020. CBIC clarified that the taxpayer must instead apply the restriction cumulatively for those seven months while filing the GSTR-3B for September 2020, comparing the aggregate credit taken with the aggregate credit reflected in GSTR-2A for that whole span, and reversing any excess in that return.
Practical effect: Any scrutiny of credit for the first Covid year must be tested cumulatively for February to August 2020, not month by month.
18th GST Council Meeting, New Delhi — 30 June 2017 (Signed Minutes, Agenda Item 3) · 2017-06-30
Meeting on the day GST was launched, the Council revisited the rate on fertilisers. Officers calculated the pre-GST incidence at about 9.75 per cent, placing fertilisers between the five and twelve per cent slabs. After almost every State supported relief for farmers, the Chairperson recorded a consensus and the Council agreed to tax fertilisers at five per cent instead of twelve, notwithstanding the inverted duty refund burden this would create for manufacturers whose inputs were taxed at eighteen per cent.
Practical effect: The Council reopened a rate it had already fixed only weeks earlier, and the cut created the inverted duty structure that fertiliser dealers still claim refunds under.
