Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Avadi is a defence manufacturing town built around the Heavy Vehicles Factory and CVRDE on CTH Road, with a fast-growing retail and real estate market spreading through Paruthipattu and Kovilpathagai. Vendors and contractors billing defence establishments have 2 per cent GST TDS deducted, so matching GSTR-7 credits and handling tender-based works contracts are the area's characteristic compliance tasks. Against that backdrop, New GST Registration in Avadi demands more than data entry — it needs reconciliation before filing, correct classification and awareness of what local officers examine. Our Chennai team provides exactly that to clients in Avadi, Ambattur and Poonamallee, with same-day responses on working days and WhatsApp updates at every stage. Most routine engagements complete within one to two working days once documents are in hand.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
Whenever the GST Council notifies a late-fee waiver or an amnesty window for pending returns or old demands, we check every client's history against it and act within the deadline. Relief that businesses in Avadi would otherwise read about after it lapsed reaches our clients in time.
A registration cancelled for non-filing is not the end of the road. We bring the pending returns up to date, clear the dues and file the revocation application in REG-21 within the permitted window, restoring suspended and cancelled GSTINs to active status.
GSTR-1 requires four-digit HSN reporting for turnover up to Rs.5 crore and six digits above it, and a wrong code often means a wrong rate. We verify the classification of what you actually supply, so your invoices and returns rest on defensible codes.
In the days before the 11th and the 20th, our team runs extended hours and a strict internal queue, so a client who sends data late in the window is still filed on time. Peak-season crush at our end never becomes a late fee at yours.
Your sales figures, supplier lists and login credentials are handled only by our engaged team, stored securely and never shared with any third party. Many of our clients in Avadi compete with each other; complete confidentiality is a condition of our work.
OTP failures, DSC errors, stuck submissions on due-date evenings — we deal with the GST portal daily and know the workarounds. When the site misbehaves on the 20th, our team keeps retrying and escalating so your return still goes through.
You share PAN, Aadhaar, photographs, address proof and bank details over WhatsApp or email. We review each document against portal requirements and flag anything that could trigger an officer query.
We draft Form GST REG-01 with the correct business constitution, principal place of business, HSN or SAC codes and authorised signatory details, then share a summary for your confirmation.
The application is filed on the GST portal and we guide the authorised signatory through Aadhaar OTP authentication, which speeds up approval and usually avoids physical verification of premises.
We track the ARN daily. If the officer issues a notice in Form REG-03 seeking clarification, we draft and file the reply in Form REG-04 within the permitted time.
Once approved, we download your registration certificate in Form REG-06, help set up portal login credentials, and brief you on invoice format, return due dates and e-way bill obligations.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: 3-7 working days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
We spot suppliers who stop uploading invoices or filing returns and alert you before their default becomes your blocked credit, letting you recover amounts or switch vendors while the exposure is still small.
Interest on delayed GST payment runs at 18 percent per annum, which is costlier than most working capital finance. Timely computation and payment through our calendar keeps that meter permanently at zero.
Rates, reverse charge, place of supply and blocked credits are applied correctly at the preparation stage, so you neither overpay tax you do not owe nor underpay and invite demands with penalty later.
Because monthly data is reconciled as it happens, GSTR-9 preparation before the 31 December due date becomes a review exercise rather than a painful reconstruction of twelve untidy months.
When a query or verification comes, you respond through a professional who deals with the department regularly, in the department's own language and format, instead of facing an officer's letter alone.
Advances received for services attract GST on receipt while advances for goods generally do not; applying this distinction correctly means you neither prepay tax unnecessarily nor omit a liability that surfaces later with interest.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Registration and amendments | Query-resistant applications prepared correctly the first time, with supporting documents matched to what proper officers actually verify. | Repeated clarification memos and resubmissions, with weeks lost because a rent agreement or premises photograph did not meet expectations. |
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |
Old Agraharam Street is a main connecting road in Avadi, about 400 m east of the centre of Avadi. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Nehru Bazar Road (about 650 m); 1st Cross Street (about 950 m); 9th Street (about 1.1 km); 10th Street (about 1.1 km) — so a site visit on Old Agraharam Street can usually be combined with other work in Avadi on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Old Agraharam Street falls under the Chennai Outer CGST Commissionerate, and the Avadi pincode is 600054.

Rich Dairy Products (India) Pvt Ltd - AAR Tamil Nadu (2019), upheld by AAAR Tamil Nadu, Order No. TN/AAAR/01/2020 · 2019
The Namakkal manufacturer made carbonated beverages containing fruit juice and sought classification under the fruit pulp or fruit juice based drinks entry taxed at 12 percent. The Authority held that once carbon dioxide is added the product is classifiable under heading 2202 10 as waters containing added carbon dioxide and flavouring, and not as fruit juice under heading 2009, so the higher rate applicable to that entry along with compensation cess applies. The Appellate Authority upheld that view.
What to do about it: Chennai beverage makers must check whether the drink is carbonated before applying the 12 percent fruit drink rate.
41st GST Council Meeting (video conferencing) — 27 August 2020 · 2020-08-27
The 41st meeting was convened with a single agenda item, GST compensation to states and union territories, after collections collapsed during the pandemic. The Centre placed before the Council two borrowing options for meeting the compensation shortfall for 2020-21: a special window facilitated by the Reserve Bank of India for the portion of the shortfall attributed to GST implementation itself, or market borrowing of the entire estimated shortfall by the states, in both cases serviced from future compensation cess collections. States were given a short period to convey their choice.
Why this matters: The borrowings arranged here are why compensation cess continued to be collected on cess goods long after the five-year compensation period ended in June 2022.
CBIC Frequently Asked Questions on GST on pre-packaged and labelled goods, dated 17 July 2022 · 2022-07-17
A day before the change took effect, the Tax Research Unit issued FAQs explaining that the expression takes its meaning from the Legal Metrology Act, 2009 and covers commodities intended for retail sale in packs of up to twenty-five kilograms or twenty-five litres that must bear statutory declarations. A single package above that limit is not covered, nor are packs supplied to an industrial or institutional consumer. Loose sale from a large pack by a retailer does not attract the levy.
Why this matters: A fifty-kilogram rice bag sold as one package stays outside the levy, but the moment it is repacked into labelled retail bags of twenty-five kilograms or less, five per cent applies.
