One WhatsApp message is how most of our client relationships began. Send yours today and have New GST Registration in Chromepet handled end to end from Rs.1,499 — fee confirmed in writing first, documents straight from your phone, acknowledgement the day we file.
We serve businesses on and around Krishnamachari Street — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Chromepet grew around the old Chrome Leather Company and now centres on the MIT campus, hospitals, private hostels and dense retail along GST Road and Radha Nagar. Hostels and coaching centres frequently misjudge GST applicability on accommodation and fees, and GST Road retailers see recurring GSTR-1 versus GSTR-3B turnover mismatches that invite ASMT-10 notices requiring an ASMT-11 reply within 30 days. That commercial character shapes the GST questions we see from Chromepet every week — registrations, monthly returns, credit mismatches and departmental queries. We deliver New GST Registration for businesses in Chromepet, and clients also reach us from Pallavaram and Tambaram nearby. Documents move over WhatsApp, drafts are approved before filing, and a senior consultant reviews every submission, so distance from our office never dilutes the quality of the work.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
Your cash ledger, credit ledger and liability register are reviewed regularly, not just at filing time. Excess balances are flagged for use or refund, and where a genuine slip surfaces, a voluntary payment through DRC-03 settles it before it can mature into a notice.
You deal with one accountable person who knows your business, your turnover pattern and your filing history. No repeating your story to a new voice every month, and no file falling between two desks when a deadline is approaching.
Quarterly filing still demands monthly attention — IFF uploads so your buyers see their credit on time, and tax payment through PMT-06 by the 25th for the first two months of each quarter. We run that monthly rhythm so QRMP saves you effort without creating gaps.
From filing the LUT in RFD-11 at the start of each financial year to preparing RFD-01 refund claims with complete annexures, we know what makes a refund file move. Exporters and inverted-duty businesses come to us specifically for this.
GSTR-3B late fees run at Rs.50 per day and interest at 18 percent per annum on unpaid tax. Our internal cut-offs sit days ahead of statutory due dates precisely so that our clients never hand the department a rupee they did not owe.
Composition dealers have their own rulebook — CMP-08 every quarter, GSTR-4 annually by 30 June, bills of supply instead of tax invoices, and a turnover ceiling that must be watched. We handle each of these correctly so the scheme's simplicity never turns into a violation.
You share PAN, Aadhaar, photographs, address proof and bank details over WhatsApp or email. We review each document against portal requirements and flag anything that could trigger an officer query.
We draft Form GST REG-01 with the correct business constitution, principal place of business, HSN or SAC codes and authorised signatory details, then share a summary for your confirmation.
The application is filed on the GST portal and we guide the authorised signatory through Aadhaar OTP authentication, which speeds up approval and usually avoids physical verification of premises.
We track the ARN daily. If the officer issues a notice in Form REG-03 seeking clarification, we draft and file the reply in Form REG-04 within the permitted time.
Once approved, we download your registration certificate in Form REG-06, help set up portal login credentials, and brief you on invoice format, return due dates and e-way bill obligations.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: 3-7 working days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
With the LUT filed at the start of each financial year and refund claims tracked to credit, exporters supply without blocking funds in IGST and recover accumulated credit on schedule.
Tax positions, rate choices and credit calls are documented as they are made, so if a question arises years later, the reasoning and evidence are on file rather than in someone's fading memory.
When GST knowledge lives inside a single staff member, their resignation becomes a compliance crisis. With our firm as the standing process, your filings continue uninterrupted regardless of internal staff changes.
Filed returns, challans, reconciliations and working papers are archived in order from day one. If an audit or departmental verification comes, your file is ready the same week, not assembled in a panic.
Sales returns, discounts and price revisions are adjusted through properly reported credit notes within the statutory window, so you never keep paying tax on turnover you have already reversed.
Where a genuine error is found in a past period, voluntary payment through DRC-03 before any notice issues closes the matter at minimal cost, instead of letting it ripen into a demand with penalty.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
| Refund claims | RFD-01 filed with complete statements and annexures, tracked from ARN to bank credit, with any deficiency memo answered promptly. | Incomplete claims bounce back as deficiency memos while the refund sits unclaimed for months and working capital stays blocked. |
| Risk of notices | GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciled before filing, removing the mismatches that trigger most scrutiny notices. | Inconsistent figures across returns quietly build a mismatch history that surfaces later as ASMT-10 scrutiny or a demand notice. |
| Portal credentials and data | Logins handled by a small engaged team under strict confidentiality, with credentials stored securely and never passed onward. | Passwords circulating on chats with freelancers and part-timers, and no accountability for who has accessed your business data. |
| Registration and amendments | Query-resistant applications prepared correctly the first time, with supporting documents matched to what proper officers actually verify. | Repeated clarification memos and resubmissions, with weeks lost because a rent agreement or premises photograph did not meet expectations. |
Krishnamachari Street is a residential street in Chromepet, about 250 m south of the centre of Chromepet. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — PTC Workshop Street (about 150 m); Hanumar Koil Street (about 150 m); Station Road (about 350 m); Shanti Nagar 2nd Cross Street (about 400 m) — so a site visit on Krishnamachari Street can usually be combined with other work in Chromepet on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Krishnamachari Street falls under the Chennai Outer CGST Commissionerate, and the Chromepet pincode is 600044.

Circular No. 206/18/2023-GST · 2023-10-31
The Board answered a set of service taxability questions arising from the 52nd GST Council meeting. Among them, it confirmed that District Mineral Foundation Trusts set up by State Governments qualify as Governmental Authorities and are therefore eligible for the exemptions available to such authorities. Other classification and exemption questions on specified services were also settled, so that field formations across States adopt a uniform view rather than issuing conflicting demands.
What it means for you: Contractors in Tamil Nadu working for statutory trusts and authorities should verify the exemption position against this circular before quoting a GST-inclusive price.
Notification No. 1/2017-Central Tax (Rate), dated 28 June 2017 (G.S.R. 673(E)) · 2017-06-28
This was the founding rate notification for goods. It listed every taxable item against its Customs Tariff heading in six schedules, prescribing central tax of 2.5, 6, 9, 14, 1.5 and 0.125 per cent, which with the matching State tax gave the familiar 5, 12, 18, 28, 3 and 0.25 per cent rates. Anything not listed in a schedule or exempted separately fell to the residual 18 per cent rate. It was amended dozens of times before being superseded on 22 September 2025.
What to do about it: For any dispute about a supply made up to 21 September 2025, the rate must be traced to the schedule entry of this notification as it stood on the date of supply, not to today's rate.
Imagic Creative (P) Ltd v. Commissioner of Commercial Taxes — Supreme Court, (2008) 2 SCC 614, judgment dated 09-01-2008 · 2008-01-09
An advertising agency was charged value added tax on the entire consideration although service tax had already been paid on the design element. The Supreme Court held that payments of service tax and of value added tax are mutually exclusive, so in a composite contract the value attributable to the service component cannot also be subjected to sales tax, and the two levies must attach to distinct parts of the transaction. Double taxation of the same value is impermissible.
Practical effect: For Chennai agencies, printers and works contractors, the goods and service components of a composite contract should be clearly valued in the agreement and the invoice so that only one tax attaches to each element of value.
