Whether you are a first-time registrant or an established trader, GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing in Egmore deserves a specialist rather than a side job. From Rs.749, our GST-focused Chennai practice runs the entire process on written checklists and senior-reviewed submissions.
We serve businesses on and around Gengu Reddy Subway — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Egmore's economy runs on its railway terminus: hotels and lodges on Gandhi Irwin Road and Kennet Lane, restaurants, travel operators and medical suppliers around the Government Museum and Pantheon Road. Hospitality operators here wrestle with GST rate slabs on room tariffs, restaurant supplies without input credit, and TCS reconciliation on bookings received through e-commerce travel platforms. From a first registration to the annual return, the full range of GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing is available to Egmore businesses without stepping far from the shop or office — documents travel over WhatsApp, and our Chennai premises are open to anyone who prefers a face-to-face discussion. We serve Chetpet and Vepery on the same footing, applying one rule everywhere: reconcile before filing, file before the due date, and keep the client informed at every stage.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
The annual return and, where turnover crosses Rs.5 crore, the self-certified reconciliation statement in GSTR-9C are prepared by the same team that filed your monthly returns. Nothing about your year has to be rediscovered or explained to a stranger in December.
GST is confusing enough without a language barrier. Our team explains notices, tax positions and filing requirements in plain Tamil or English, whichever you and your staff in Egmore are comfortable with, and keeps written communication simple and jargon-free.
We match your purchase register against GSTR-2B every period, follow up on invoices your suppliers have not uploaded, and ensure every rupee of eligible input tax credit is claimed. Clients routinely recover credit they were silently losing under self-filing.
We work with Chennai GST ranges and circles every week, including the jurisdiction covering Egmore. We know how local proper officers examine registrations, what supporting documents they routinely call for, and how to present a file so it moves without repeated queries.
Goods sent to job workers must move on delivery challans, return within the statutory period, and be reported in ITC-04. We track every outward and return leg for manufacturing clients in Egmore, so inputs sent out for processing never quietly convert into a deemed supply carrying tax and interest.
Tally, Zoho Books, Busy, marketplace reports, plain Excel or even a handwritten bill book — we take your data in whatever form your Egmore business already maintains it. You are never forced to buy new software or retrain staff just to become our client.
At month end we remind you and collect sales invoices, purchase bills and credit notes in whatever format you maintain, including Excel, Tally exports or scanned copies.
We prepare invoice-wise outward supply details, validate GSTINs of your B2B customers, summarise B2C supplies and file GSTR-1 on the portal before the 11th.
We download your auto-drafted GSTR-2B, match it against purchase records, and claim only eligible input tax credit so that mismatches do not trigger scrutiny notices later.
We compute net tax payable after ITC set-off, share the working with you for approval, and generate the payment challan for any cash liability.
After your confirmation and tax payment, we file GSTR-3B before the 20th and send you both filed acknowledgements along with a one-page summary of the month.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Filed before the 11th and 20th of every month · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided

Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Advances received for services attract GST on receipt while advances for goods generally do not; applying this distinction correctly means you neither prepay tax unnecessarily nor omit a liability that surfaces later with interest.
We spot suppliers who stop uploading invoices or filing returns and alert you before their default becomes your blocked credit, letting you recover amounts or switch vendors while the exposure is still small.
The hours you or your accountant spent wrestling with the portal, JSON errors and reconciliations every month return to sales, operations and customers, while trained hands manage the compliance in the background.
Statutory windows such as thirty days for an ASMT-11 reply are tracked from the day a notice arrives, so responses go in on time, complete, and with your best case properly presented.
Consistent, reconciled returns give the department's matching systems nothing to flag. Clients who move to us after years of self-filing typically see scrutiny queries and mismatch notices fall away within a few filing cycles.
Amounts deducted by government buyers as GST TDS and by marketplaces as TCS are accepted on the portal each period, so money withheld against your GSTIN actually reaches your cash ledger instead of lying unclaimed.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Risk of notices | GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciled before filing, removing the mismatches that trigger most scrutiny notices. | Inconsistent figures across returns quietly build a mismatch history that surfaces later as ASMT-10 scrutiny or a demand notice. |
| Goods in transit | E-way bills generated correctly and matched to invoices, so consignments pass roadside inspections without detention or penalty. | A defective or missing e-way bill can mean detention at a checkpoint, with penalties that dwarf the tax on the consignment. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
Gengu Reddy Subway is a secondary arterial road in Egmore, about 1.0 km west of the centre of Egmore. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Gangu Reddy Road (about 150 m); Gengu Reddy Road (about 250 m); Egmore High Road (about 300 m); Gengu Road (about 300 m) — so a site visit on Gengu Reddy Subway can usually be combined with other work in Egmore on the same trip. 9th GST Council Meeting, New Delhi — 16 January 2017 (Signed Minutes, Agenda Item 5) · 2017-01-16
With the revised model law still to be brought back to the Council, the fitment of rates incomplete and taxpayers needing time to configure their accounting systems, the Council unanimously agreed to extend the GST rollout date to 1 July 2017. Maharashtra, Assam and Bihar had pressed for 1 April 2017, Assam adding that changing the tax regime in the middle of a financial year was undesirable, but the Chairperson observed that the legal and rate work would spill into March 2017 and that an April deadline had become a major challenge. Tamil Nadu and Karnataka supported 1 July 2017 as the more practical date.
Why this matters: GST law in India runs from 1 July 2017, so the first return periods, the first annual return and all transitional credit deadlines are measured from that date.
Circular No. 170/02/2022-GST · 2022-07-06
The Board made it mandatory to report inter-State supplies made to unregistered persons, composition dealers and UIN holders correctly in Table 3.2 of GSTR-3B, consistent with GSTR-1. It also reset Table 4. Total credit as per GSTR-2B is taken in Table 4(A), permanent reversals such as Rules 42 and 43 and blocked credit under Section 17(5) are shown in Table 4(B)(1), temporary reversals in Table 4(B)(2), and credit reclaimed later is shown in 4(A)(5) with 4(D)(1).
What to do about it: Chennai businesses should follow this exact reporting pattern in every GSTR-3B, because scrutiny notices in ASMT-10 routinely compare Table 4 figures with GSTR-2B line by line.
Notification No. 57/2017-Central Tax dated 15.11.2017 · 2017-11-15
This notification allowed registered persons with an aggregate turnover of up to Rs 1.5 crore in the preceding or current financial year to furnish the statement of outward supplies in FORM GSTR-1 on a quarterly rather than monthly basis, and prescribed the quarterly due dates. It was the first structural concession recognising that monthly outward supply reporting was disproportionate for very small businesses.
What to do about it: This quarterly GSTR-1 concession is the direct ancestor of today's QRMP scheme, and many small Chennai businesses have been on a quarterly cycle continuously since this notification.
