One WhatsApp message is how most of our client relationships began. Send yours today and have New GST Registration in Ekkattuthangal handled end to end from Rs.1,499 — fee confirmed in writing first, documents straight from your phone, acknowledgement the day we file.
We serve businesses on and around Defence Colony 2nd Avenue — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
If you operate in Ekkattuthangal, GST deadlines arrive with the same force as anywhere in Chennai — GSTR-1 by the 11th, GSTR-3B by the 20th. Ekkattuthangal, beside the Kathipara interchange, blends the SIDCO Industrial Estate's south phase with IT towers such as Olympia Technology Park and a strip of printing, packaging and engineering units off the Inner Ring Road. Units sending components out for plating or machining must move them on delivery challans and report the flows in ITC-04, a step many discover only when a departmental audit asks for job-work records. We provide New GST Registration to businesses across Ekkattuthangal and the adjoining Guindy and Jafferkhanpet localities, maintaining a compliance calendar for every client so due dates are met without last-minute panic, late fees or interest at 18 percent per annum.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
Sellers on Amazon, Flipkart and other marketplaces face a three-way match between marketplace reports, GSTR-1 and the TCS the operator deposits against your GSTIN. We reconcile all three every period and accept the TCS credit, so sellers in Ekkattuthangal never leave marketplace deductions unclaimed.
Your cash ledger, credit ledger and liability register are reviewed regularly, not just at filing time. Excess balances are flagged for use or refund, and where a genuine slip surfaces, a voluntary payment through DRC-03 settles it before it can mature into a notice.
GST is confusing enough without a language barrier. Our team explains notices, tax positions and filing requirements in plain Tamil or English, whichever you and your staff in Ekkattuthangal are comfortable with, and keeps written communication simple and jargon-free.
You receive a WhatsApp message when documents are received, when the draft is ready for your approval, and when the return or application is filed, along with the acknowledgement. You never have to call and ask what is happening with your file.
We are a Chennai firm with a physical office, not a faceless portal. If you prefer to sit across a table with your papers, you are welcome. Clients from Ekkattuthangal regularly visit us for registrations, notice discussions and annual return reviews.
Winding up attracts its own GST obligations — the cancellation application, reversal of credit on closing stock, and the final return in GSTR-10 within three months. We close registrations properly so a business you shut in Ekkattuthangal never writes back to you as a demand years later.
You share PAN, Aadhaar, photographs, address proof and bank details over WhatsApp or email. We review each document against portal requirements and flag anything that could trigger an officer query.
We draft Form GST REG-01 with the correct business constitution, principal place of business, HSN or SAC codes and authorised signatory details, then share a summary for your confirmation.
The application is filed on the GST portal and we guide the authorised signatory through Aadhaar OTP authentication, which speeds up approval and usually avoids physical verification of premises.
We track the ARN daily. If the officer issues a notice in Form REG-03 seeking clarification, we draft and file the reply in Form REG-04 within the permitted time.
Once approved, we download your registration certificate in Form REG-06, help set up portal login credentials, and brief you on invoice format, return due dates and e-way bill obligations.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: 3-7 working days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Loan applications and government tenders routinely demand GST returns and registration documents. With everything filed and archived properly, you can produce a complete compliance file within hours instead of days.
Correct e-way bills matched to correct invoices mean your consignments clear roadside inspections cleanly, avoiding detention proceedings whose penalties can far exceed the tax on the goods being carried.
The 11th and the 20th stop being days of dread. You approve a prepared draft, we file, and the acknowledgement lands on your WhatsApp — month after month, without drama.
We spot suppliers who stop uploading invoices or filing returns and alert you before their default becomes your blocked credit, letting you recover amounts or switch vendors while the exposure is still small.
Sales returns, discounts and price revisions are adjusted through properly reported credit notes within the statutory window, so you never keep paying tax on turnover you have already reversed.
A fixed professional fee is almost always cheaper than the combination of late fees, interest, lost credit and staff hours that informal, last-minute compliance quietly accumulates over a year.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Portal credentials and data | Logins handled by a small engaged team under strict confidentiality, with credentials stored securely and never passed onward. | Passwords circulating on chats with freelancers and part-timers, and no accountability for who has accessed your business data. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
| Registration and amendments | Query-resistant applications prepared correctly the first time, with supporting documents matched to what proper officers actually verify. | Repeated clarification memos and resubmissions, with weeks lost because a rent agreement or premises photograph did not meet expectations. |
Defence Colony 2nd Avenue is a residential street in Ekkattuthangal, about 600 m west of the centre of Ekkattuthangal. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — 3rd Street (about 250 m); 2nd Street (about 300 m); Duraisamy Street, Visalakshi Nagar (about 350 m); Poonamalle Road (about 350 m) — so a site visit on Defence Colony 2nd Avenue can usually be combined with other work in Ekkattuthangal on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Defence Colony 2nd Avenue falls under the Chennai South CGST Commissionerate, and the Ekkattuthangal pincode is 600032.
Road classification and position from OpenStreetMap; distances are straight-line and approximate. Jurisdiction must be confirmed on your own registration certificate.
A working knowledge of recent instruments and judgments is what separates a defensible filing from a risky one.
M/s. Lodha Roadways v. Deputy State Tax Officer — Madras High Court, W.P. No. 12595 of 2023, decided 24 April 2023 (Anita Sumanth J.) · 2023-04-24
A transporter sought release of detained goods. The Court dismissed the petition, holding that under Section 129 the entitlement to seek release of goods lies only with the owner, his agent or representative. The transporter's remedy is confined to release of the conveyance on payment of the penalty or one lakh rupees, whichever is less. Any claim about payment of tax on the consignment has to be pursued by the assessee who owns the goods, not by the carrier.
What to do about it: When a Chennai consignment is detained, the consignor or consignee must file the release application in its own name; letting the lorry operator do it will cost time.
Circular No. 245/02/2025-GST · 2025-01-28
Implementing 55th GST Council decisions, CBIC clarified that penal charges levied by banks and NBFCs for breach of loan terms, which replaced penal interest per RBI directions, are not consideration for any service and attract no GST. It also clarified that RBI-regulated payment aggregators are covered by the exemption for settlement of transactions up to Rs 2,000, and addressed other service-tax positions, regularising past periods on an as-is basis.
What it means for you: Borrowers should not accept GST charged on penal charges by lenders, and merchants using payment aggregators get relief on small-ticket settlement charges.
56th GST Council Meeting, New Delhi — 3 September 2025 · 2025-09-03
The 56th GST Council meeting approved the biggest structural reform since 2017, replacing the 5, 12, 18 and 28 per cent slabs with a two-rate structure — a 5 per cent merit rate and an 18 per cent standard rate — plus a 40 per cent de-merit rate for a narrow set of luxury and sin goods. Most items at 12 per cent moved to 5 per cent and most at 28 per cent moved to 18 per cent. The new rates took effect from 22 September 2025 and remain in force.
Practical effect: Every Chennai business had to re-map product rates, reprice stock and update billing software from 22 September 2025 — rate mistakes since then invite scrutiny notices.
