Whether you are a first-time registrant or an established trader, E-Way Bill Registration & Support in Broadway deserves a specialist rather than a side job. From Rs.999, our GST-focused Chennai practice runs the entire process on written checklists and senior-reviewed submissions.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
If you operate in Broadway, GST deadlines arrive with the same force as anywhere in Chennai — GSTR-1 by the 11th, GSTR-3B by the 20th. Broadway, running along Prakasam Salai from the High Court to the bus terminus, is a dense wholesale strip for footwear, luggage, umbrellas and general merchandise, with parcel offices and transport operators clustered around the terminus and Walltax Road. Traders here depend heavily on lorry freight, so reverse charge on goods transport agency bills and e-way bill coverage are constant compliance points. We provide E-Way Bill Registration & Support to businesses across Broadway and the adjoining Parrys (George Town) and Mannady localities, maintaining a compliance calendar for every client so due dates are met without last-minute panic, late fees or interest at 18 percent per annum.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
If your GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B start drifting apart, if a large supplier stops filing, or if your turnover approaches the e-invoice threshold, we flag it to you immediately. Early warnings from our side are cheaper than departmental letters later.
In the days before the 11th and the 20th, our team runs extended hours and a strict internal queue, so a client who sends data late in the window is still filed on time. Peak-season crush at our end never becomes a late fee at yours.
You deal with one accountable person who knows your business, your turnover pattern and your filing history. No repeating your story to a new voice every month, and no file falling between two desks when a deadline is approaching.
Whenever the GST Council notifies a late-fee waiver or an amnesty window for pending returns or old demands, we check every client's history against it and act within the deadline. Relief that businesses in Broadway would otherwise read about after it lapsed reaches our clients in time.
Composition dealers have their own rulebook — CMP-08 every quarter, GSTR-4 annually by 30 June, bills of supply instead of tax invoices, and a turnover ceiling that must be watched. We handle each of these correctly so the scheme's simplicity never turns into a violation.
Businesses with registrations in more than one State, or multiple branches under one PAN, face cross-charge, stock transfer and input service distribution questions that single-GSTIN firms never see. We keep all your registrations consistent with each other, not just compliant individually.
We register your GSTIN on the e-way bill portal using the OTP sent to your registered mobile, and set secure login credentials for your business.
Products with HSN codes, regular customers, suppliers and transporters are added as masters so daily e-way bill generation takes minutes rather than repeated data entry.
Your dispatch staff learn to fill Part A and Part B, compute validity by distance, extend validity when transit is delayed, and cancel bills within twenty-four hours.
We give you a simple checklist covering when an e-way bill is needed, exemptions, documents the driver must carry, and what to do at an interception.
For the first month we remain available on WhatsApp for generation help, rejected entries and practical situations like vehicle breakdown or transhipment en route.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Same day to 1 working day · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Each period you receive a simple computation showing output tax, credit utilised and net cash payable, so GST becomes a number you understand and question rather than a figure you accept blindly.
When GST knowledge lives inside a single staff member, their resignation becomes a compliance crisis. With our firm as the standing process, your filings continue uninterrupted regardless of internal staff changes.
Statutory windows such as thirty days for an ASMT-11 reply are tracked from the day a notice arrives, so responses go in on time, complete, and with your best case properly presented.
Systematic GSTR-2B matching and supplier follow-up mean input tax credit that was leaking away under self-filing is captured each month, directly reducing the cash you pay out with every GSTR-3B.
The hours you or your accountant spent wrestling with the portal, JSON errors and reconciliations every month return to sales, operations and customers, while trained hands manage the compliance in the background.
Correct, complete tax invoices signal a well-run business to customers, vendors and banks alike, quietly strengthening your credibility in every transaction where your paperwork is seen.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Portal credentials and data | Logins handled by a small engaged team under strict confidentiality, with credentials stored securely and never passed onward. | Passwords circulating on chats with freelancers and part-timers, and no accountability for who has accessed your business data. |
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
We track every notification, circular and judgment that changes a filing position, so your returns and replies reflect the current law.
NIC Advisory, January 2024 — minimum six-digit HSN code in e-way bills from 1 February 2024 · 2024-02-01
From 1 February 2024, taxpayers with annual aggregate turnover above Rs 5 crore must give at least a six-digit HSN code for goods in Part-A of the e-way bill, while taxpayers below that turnover must give at least four digits. The system validates the code against the HSN master maintained on the portal, so an incomplete or invalid code prevents generation of the e-way bill and holds up the dispatch of goods.
Practical effect: Clean the HSN master in your billing software to six digits, because a single wrong code can stop a lorry at the loading bay.
24th GST Council Meeting (video conference) — 16 December 2017 (PIB Release ID 1512886) · 2017-12-16
Trade and transporters had represented that being required to comply with each State's own separate e-way bill system was causing undue hardship in inter-State movement. After reviewing hardware and software readiness, the Council decided that the nationwide system would be available for voluntary trial use from 16 January 2018 and that the rules for compulsory inter-State e-way bills would be notified with effect from 1 February 2018, bringing uniformity across States.
Why this matters: The date advanced from the earlier 1 April 2018 timetable, though the 1 February launch itself failed on portal capacity and had to be re-fixed at the 26th meeting.
Notification No. 55/2023-Central Tax · 2023-12-20
After Cyclone Michaung caused severe flooding in and around Chennai, CBIC extended the due date for furnishing Form GSTR-3B for the tax period November 2023 to 27 December 2023 for registered persons whose principal place of business falls in the districts of Chennai, Tiruvallur, Chengalpattu and Kancheepuram in Tamil Nadu. The relief applied automatically by district and no separate application was required from affected taxpayers.
What to do about it: In a declared local disaster, CBIC does grant district-specific extensions for Chennai, so check for a notification before paying late fee on a delayed return.
