Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Gowrivakkam commands the Velachery Main Road stretch east of Sembakkam towards the Vengaivasal turn-off, crowded with furniture and electrical showrooms, tiles and sanitaryware dealers, supermarkets and two-wheeler service centres, with S.I.V.E.T. College Road feeding the interior layouts. Building material traders hauling stock from city godowns need clean e-way bill discipline, while showroom dealers face input tax credit mismatches when distributor credit notes reach GSTR-2B late. From a first registration to the annual return, the full range of GST Refund RFD-01 is available to Gowrivakkam businesses without stepping far from the shop or office — documents travel over WhatsApp, and our Chennai premises are open to anyone who prefers a face-to-face discussion. We serve Sembakkam and Medavakkam on the same footing, applying one rule everywhere: reconcile before filing, file before the due date, and keep the client informed at every stage.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
Your sales figures, supplier lists and login credentials are handled only by our engaged team, stored securely and never shared with any third party. Many of our clients in Gowrivakkam compete with each other; complete confidentiality is a condition of our work.
We work with Chennai GST ranges and circles every week, including the jurisdiction covering Gowrivakkam. We know how local proper officers examine registrations, what supporting documents they routinely call for, and how to present a file so it moves without repeated queries.
We tell you when the composition scheme stops making sense, when QRMP suits your cash flow, and when a supplier's non-compliance is quietly costing you credit. Filing is the minimum; helping you make better GST decisions is the actual job.
GSTR-1 by the 11th, GSTR-3B by the 20th, CMP-08 by the 18th after each quarter — we maintain a compliance calendar for every client and start chasing your data well before the due date, so late fees never enter the picture.
GST is confusing enough without a language barrier. Our team explains notices, tax positions and filing requirements in plain Tamil or English, whichever you and your staff in Gowrivakkam are comfortable with, and keeps written communication simple and jargon-free.
When an ADT-01 audit intimation or a personal hearing date arrives, we compile the records, prepare the reconciliations and draft the submissions, and coordinate closely with your authorised representative. You walk into the proceeding prepared, not improvising in front of an officer.
We identify the correct refund category, confirm the two-year limitation from the relevant date, and compute the admissible amount using the formula prescribed under the rules.
Invoices, shipping bills, FIRCs, the LUT and ledger extracts are compiled into the prescribed statements, and gaps that commonly cause deficiency memos are fixed upfront.
The refund application is filed on the portal with all annexures and declarations, and the acknowledgement in RFD-02 is tracked within the statutory fifteen days.
We respond to any deficiency memo in RFD-03 or show cause notice in RFD-08, appear through written submissions, and pursue provisional refund where the category permits.
We track the sanction order in RFD-06 and payment advice in RFD-05, confirm the credit in your validated bank account, and archive the complete claim file.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Application filed in 3-5 working days; sanction typically within 60 days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Loan applications and government tenders routinely demand GST returns and registration documents. With everything filed and archived properly, you can produce a complete compliance file within hours instead of days.
Advances received for services attract GST on receipt while advances for goods generally do not; applying this distinction correctly means you neither prepay tax unnecessarily nor omit a liability that surfaces later with interest.
A fixed professional fee is almost always cheaper than the combination of late fees, interest, lost credit and staff hours that informal, last-minute compliance quietly accumulates over a year.
You know your expected GST outflow days before the 20th, not on the night of filing. That advance visibility lets you plan payments, collections and bank balances instead of scrambling for funds at the deadline.
We spot suppliers who stop uploading invoices or filing returns and alert you before their default becomes your blocked credit, letting you recover amounts or switch vendors while the exposure is still small.
Excess balances parked in the electronic cash ledger are identified during regular ledger reviews and either utilised against upcoming liability or claimed back as a refund, instead of sitting interest-free with the government.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
| Registration and amendments | Query-resistant applications prepared correctly the first time, with supporting documents matched to what proper officers actually verify. | Repeated clarification memos and resubmissions, with weeks lost because a rent agreement or premises photograph did not meet expectations. |
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
| Portal credentials and data | Logins handled by a small engaged team under strict confidentiality, with credentials stored securely and never passed onward. | Passwords circulating on chats with freelancers and part-timers, and no accountability for who has accessed your business data. |

Circular No. 149/05/2021-GST dated 17.06.2021 · 2021-06-17
CBIC clarified that serving food in schools under the mid-day meal programme is exempt from GST, and that the exemption extends to pre-schools and anganwadis, which are covered within the meaning of an educational institution providing pre-school education. It further clarified that the exemption applies whether the meals are funded by government grants or by corporate donations, since the entry does not distinguish by source of funding. The clarification protected non-profit caterers running school feeding programmes from demands.
How we apply it: Chennai caterers running school or anganwadi meal contracts are exempt, but should keep the scheme documentation on file to answer any scrutiny.
14th GST Council Meeting, Srinagar — 18-19 May 2017 (PIB Release ID 1490274) · 2017-05-18
The Council completed the fitment exercise for goods and broadly approved GST rates at nil, five, twelve, eighteen and twenty-eight per cent across the tariff, along with the rates of GST compensation cess to be levied on specified goods. The chapter-wise, rate-wise schedule dated 18 May 2017 was published on the CBEC website immediately after the meeting, subject to further vetting, and formed the basis of the rate notifications issued for the 1 July 2017 rollout.
What to do about it: The original HSN-wise rate schedule for your products dates from this meeting; classification disputes often turn on how an item was fitted here.
Notification No. 08/2017-Central Tax (Rate) dated 28.06.2017 · 2017-06-28
Section 9(4) of the CGST Act as originally enacted made a registered person liable to pay tax under reverse charge on all inward supplies received from unregistered persons. This notification granted a de minimis exemption where the aggregate value of such supplies received from all unregistered suppliers did not exceed Rs 5,000 in a day. The exemption proved unworkable in practice and section 9(4) was soon suspended altogether.
What it means for you: This threshold only matters for the July to October 2017 period, and Chennai businesses still facing scrutiny for those months should check the daily aggregate rather than invoice-wise values.
