From Rs.4,999, our team delivers GST Refund RFD-01 for shops, service providers and manufacturers across Maraimalai Nagar. Local jurisdiction knowledge, deadline tracking and honest, upfront fees — the way GST compliance in Chennai should actually work.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Finding dependable GST Refund RFD-01 in Maraimalai Nagar usually means choosing between a distant online portal and an overloaded local accountant. Maraimalai Nagar is a CMDA-planned satellite township on GST Road whose industrial belt, anchored by the Ford plant campus (now retooled for engine exports) and the adjoining Mahindra World City, feeds work to auto ancillary vendors, fabricators and manpower contractors, while hostels and mess kitchens serve SRM University students from Potheri. Vendor units crossing Rs.5 crore turnover must issue e-invoices, and constant job work movements demand disciplined ITC-04 and delivery challan records. We offer a third option: a professional Chennai GST practice that treats Maraimalai Nagar, Guduvancheri and Kattankulathur as home ground, responds the same working day, files ahead of deadlines, and stands behind its work if a notice ever arrives on a return we prepared.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
OTP failures, DSC errors, stuck submissions on due-date evenings — we deal with the GST portal daily and know the workarounds. When the site misbehaves on the 20th, our team keeps retrying and escalating so your return still goes through.
We are a Chennai firm with a physical office, not a faceless portal. If you prefer to sit across a table with your papers, you are welcome. Clients from Maraimalai Nagar regularly visit us for registrations, notice discussions and annual return reviews.
You receive a WhatsApp message when documents are received, when the draft is ready for your approval, and when the return or application is filed, along with the acknowledgement. You never have to call and ask what is happening with your file.
Freight paid to transporters, advocate fees, imported services and other notified supplies attract GST under reverse charge, with self-invoicing where the supplier is unregistered. We maintain a running RCM check every period, because this is the liability self-filers most consistently miss.
A new GSTIN comes with obligations nobody explains at approval — the invoice series rules, displaying the registration certificate and GSTIN at your premises, and the first return cycle. We walk new registrants in Maraimalai Nagar through each of these so month one starts correctly.
Whenever the GST Council notifies a late-fee waiver or an amnesty window for pending returns or old demands, we check every client's history against it and act within the deadline. Relief that businesses in Maraimalai Nagar would otherwise read about after it lapsed reaches our clients in time.
We identify the correct refund category, confirm the two-year limitation from the relevant date, and compute the admissible amount using the formula prescribed under the rules.
Invoices, shipping bills, FIRCs, the LUT and ledger extracts are compiled into the prescribed statements, and gaps that commonly cause deficiency memos are fixed upfront.
The refund application is filed on the portal with all annexures and declarations, and the acknowledgement in RFD-02 is tracked within the statutory fifteen days.
We respond to any deficiency memo in RFD-03 or show cause notice in RFD-08, appear through written submissions, and pursue provisional refund where the category permits.
We track the sanction order in RFD-06 and payment advice in RFD-05, confirm the credit in your validated bank account, and archive the complete claim file.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Application filed in 3-5 working days; sanction typically within 60 days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Late-fee waivers and amnesty windows notified by the GST Council are applied to your history within their deadlines, capturing reliefs that most businesses only hear about once the window has already closed.
Complete RFD-01 applications with proper statements and annexures move through the system faster and attract fewer deficiency memos, which means export and inverted-duty refunds reach your bank account sooner.
Because monthly data is reconciled as it happens, GSTR-9 preparation before the 31 December due date becomes a review exercise rather than a painful reconstruction of twelve untidy months.
A fixed professional fee is almost always cheaper than the combination of late fees, interest, lost credit and staff hours that informal, last-minute compliance quietly accumulates over a year.
Getting IGST versus CGST and SGST right at the invoice stage spares you the painful cycle of paying the correct head again and pursuing a refund of the amount paid under the wrong one.
Excess balances parked in the electronic cash ledger are identified during regular ledger reviews and either utilised against upcoming liability or claimed back as a refund, instead of sitting interest-free with the government.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
| Refund claims | RFD-01 filed with complete statements and annexures, tracked from ARN to bank credit, with any deficiency memo answered promptly. | Incomplete claims bounce back as deficiency memos while the refund sits unclaimed for months and working capital stays blocked. |

Circular No. 235/29/2024-GST, dated 11 October 2024 · 2024-10-11
Implementing the 54th GST Council decisions, CBIC clarified that extruded or expanded savoury or salted products other than un-fried snack pellets fall under tariff item 1905 90 30 and attract twelve per cent prospectively, while un-fried or uncooked snack pellets continue at five per cent. Roof-mounted package unit air conditioning machines for railway coaches were held classifiable under heading 8415 and not as railway parts, and the rate position on motor car seats was settled.
How we apply it: Namkeen and extruded snack manufacturers must apply the clarified rate prospectively and can rely on the circular's regularisation for earlier supplies.
GSTN Advisory dated 8 May 2025 — changes in the refund filing process on the portal · 2025-05-08
GSTN removed the requirement to select a refund period in chronological order for certain refund categories, so a claim need not follow strict sequence, and moved those categories to invoice-based filing. For export of services with payment of tax, supplies to special economic zone units with payment of tax, and deemed export claims by the supplier, the applicant uploads the specific invoices in the relevant statement and those invoices are then locked against a repeat claim. All returns due up to the date of the claim must be filed.
What to do about it: Keep returns current and your export invoice register clean, since refunds are now claimed invoice by invoice and each invoice can be used only once.
Jian International v. Commissioner of Delhi Goods and Services Tax — Delhi High Court, judgment dated 22 July 2020, reported at 2020 SCC OnLine Del 2606 · 2020-07-22
The refund application was neither processed nor returned with a deficiency memo in Form RFD-03 within the fifteen days allowed by Rule 90, and objections were raised only much later. The High Court held that if no deficiency memo is issued within fifteen days the application must be treated as complete and taken up for processing, and the department cannot keep raising fresh deficiencies afterwards. The refund was directed to be paid along with interest.
Practical effect: Diarise the fifteenth day after filing a refund application — silence beyond that date is a strong ground to press for payment.
