New GST Registration in Iyyappanthangal does not have to mean portal errors, guesswork and due-date tension. For a fixed fee starting Rs.1,499, an accountable Chennai practice prepares, reconciles, reviews and files — and remains answerable long after the acknowledgement arrives.
We serve businesses on and around Vivekanander Street — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Iyyappanthangal sits on Mount Poonamallee Road beside its MTC bus depot, in the hospital shadow of the Porur medical belt, with pharmacies, diagnostic collection centres, supermarkets and apartment builders filling the frontage towards Kattupakkam and Mangadu. Builders selling under-construction flats at the 1 and 5 per cent rates without input tax credit, and pharmacies handling 5, 12 and 18 per cent medicine slabs, drive most GST queries. GST compliance in a market like Iyyappanthangal rewards consistency — returns that match, credits that reconcile, and records that stand up to scrutiny. Our team provides New GST Registration to businesses throughout Iyyappanthangal and nearby Porur and Kattupakkam on fixed, transparent fees. From the first document checklist to the final acknowledgement on WhatsApp, the process is structured so nothing depends on memory, luck or a due-date-evening scramble.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
GST is confusing enough without a language barrier. Our team explains notices, tax positions and filing requirements in plain Tamil or English, whichever you and your staff in Iyyappanthangal are comfortable with, and keeps written communication simple and jargon-free.
We are a Chennai firm with a physical office, not a faceless portal. If you prefer to sit across a table with your papers, you are welcome. Clients from Iyyappanthangal regularly visit us for registrations, notice discussions and annual return reviews.
Sellers on Amazon, Flipkart and other marketplaces face a three-way match between marketplace reports, GSTR-1 and the TCS the operator deposits against your GSTIN. We reconcile all three every period and accept the TCS credit, so sellers in Iyyappanthangal never leave marketplace deductions unclaimed.
GSTR-1 by the 11th, GSTR-3B by the 20th, CMP-08 by the 18th after each quarter — we maintain a compliance calendar for every client and start chasing your data well before the due date, so late fees never enter the picture.
When an ADT-01 audit intimation or a personal hearing date arrives, we compile the records, prepare the reconciliations and draft the submissions, and coordinate closely with your authorised representative. You walk into the proceeding prepared, not improvising in front of an officer.
We tell you when the composition scheme stops making sense, when QRMP suits your cash flow, and when a supplier's non-compliance is quietly costing you credit. Filing is the minimum; helping you make better GST decisions is the actual job.
You share PAN, Aadhaar, photographs, address proof and bank details over WhatsApp or email. We review each document against portal requirements and flag anything that could trigger an officer query.
We draft Form GST REG-01 with the correct business constitution, principal place of business, HSN or SAC codes and authorised signatory details, then share a summary for your confirmation.
The application is filed on the GST portal and we guide the authorised signatory through Aadhaar OTP authentication, which speeds up approval and usually avoids physical verification of premises.
We track the ARN daily. If the officer issues a notice in Form REG-03 seeking clarification, we draft and file the reply in Form REG-04 within the permitted time.
Once approved, we download your registration certificate in Form REG-06, help set up portal login credentials, and brief you on invoice format, return due dates and e-way bill obligations.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: 3-7 working days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Tax positions, rate choices and credit calls are documented as they are made, so if a question arises years later, the reasoning and evidence are on file rather than in someone's fading memory.
The hours you or your accountant spent wrestling with the portal, JSON errors and reconciliations every month return to sales, operations and customers, while trained hands manage the compliance in the background.
Systematic GSTR-2B matching and supplier follow-up mean input tax credit that was leaking away under self-filing is captured each month, directly reducing the cash you pay out with every GSTR-3B.
Rates, reverse charge, place of supply and blocked credits are applied correctly at the preparation stage, so you neither overpay tax you do not owe nor underpay and invite demands with penalty later.
Because turnover in your GST returns is kept aligned with your accounts through the year, income tax filing and statutory audit proceed without the GST-versus-books mismatch queries that now surface routinely through data matching.
When GST knowledge lives inside a single staff member, their resignation becomes a compliance crisis. With our firm as the standing process, your filings continue uninterrupted regardless of internal staff changes.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |
| Risk of notices | GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciled before filing, removing the mismatches that trigger most scrutiny notices. | Inconsistent figures across returns quietly build a mismatch history that surfaces later as ASMT-10 scrutiny or a demand notice. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
| Portal credentials and data | Logins handled by a small engaged team under strict confidentiality, with credentials stored securely and never passed onward. | Passwords circulating on chats with freelancers and part-timers, and no accountability for who has accessed your business data. |
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
Vivekanander Street is a residential street in Iyyappanthangal, about 1.2 km north of the centre of Iyyappanthangal. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Santosh Bai Street (about 50 m); Mahatma Gandhi Street (about 100 m); Kamaraj Street (about 150 m); Bharathiyar Street (about 250 m) — so a site visit on Vivekanander Street can usually be combined with other work in Iyyappanthangal on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Vivekanander Street falls under the Chennai Outer CGST Commissionerate, and the Iyyappanthangal pincode is 600056.
Road classification and position from OpenStreetMap; distances are straight-line and approximate. Jurisdiction must be confirmed on your own registration certificate.

47th GST Council Meeting, Chandigarh — 28 and 29 June 2022 · 2022-06-29
The Council recommended withdrawing the exemption on hotel accommodation priced up to one thousand rupees per unit per day and taxing it at 12 per cent, and taxing room rent charged by a hospital, other than intensive care and similar critical care units, where the charge exceeds five thousand rupees per day per patient, at 5 per cent without input tax credit. It also recommended withdrawing the small-consignment exemptions for goods transport agencies and giving transporters a forward-charge option. The changes took effect from 18 July 2022.
How we apply it: Chennai lodges charging under one thousand rupees a night and hospitals with deluxe rooms above five thousand rupees a day both acquired new GST liabilities from 18 July 2022.
Notification No. 35/2021-Central Tax · 2021-09-24
The Central Goods and Services Tax (Eighth Amendment) Rules, 2021 inserted Rule 10B, requiring a registered person to authenticate the Aadhaar number of the proprietor, partner, karta, managing director or authorised signatory in order to file an application for revocation of cancellation, to file a refund application, or to obtain a refund of integrated tax paid on exports. Rule 89 and Rule 96 were amended to require that the refund be credited to a bank account linked to the same permanent account number as the registration.
Practical effect: A Chennai exporter cannot get a rupee of refund until Aadhaar authentication is completed and the bank account is validated against the same PAN.
M/s. Lodha Roadways v. Deputy State Tax Officer — Madras High Court, W.P. No. 12595 of 2023, decided 24 April 2023 (Anita Sumanth J.) · 2023-04-24
A transporter sought release of detained goods. The Court dismissed the petition, holding that under Section 129 the entitlement to seek release of goods lies only with the owner, his agent or representative. The transporter's remedy is confined to release of the conveyance on payment of the penalty or one lakh rupees, whichever is less. Any claim about payment of tax on the consignment has to be pursued by the assessee who owns the goods, not by the carrier.
How we apply it: When a Chennai consignment is detained, the consignor or consignee must file the release application in its own name; letting the lorry operator do it will cost time.
