From Rs.1,499, our team delivers New GST Registration for shops, service providers and manufacturers across Jamalia. Local jurisdiction knowledge, deadline tracking and honest, upfront fees — the way GST compliance in Chennai should actually work.
We serve businesses on and around Paper Mills Road — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Jamalia lies on Perambur High Road between Krishna Doss Road, Cooks Road and Perambur Barracks Road, a dense trading pocket of timber and plywood yards, leather and footwear dealers, hardware and sanitary ware shops, bakeries, biryani hotels and cloth retailers running down towards Otteri Bridge and Stephenson Road. Cash-heavy sales, unregistered supplier purchases and GSTR-2B mismatches are the recurring compliance headache. From a first registration to the annual return, the full range of New GST Registration is available to Jamalia businesses without stepping far from the shop or office — documents travel over WhatsApp, and our Chennai premises are open to anyone who prefers a face-to-face discussion. We serve Perambur and Otteri on the same footing, applying one rule everywhere: reconcile before filing, file before the due date, and keep the client informed at every stage.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
OTP failures, DSC errors, stuck submissions on due-date evenings — we deal with the GST portal daily and know the workarounds. When the site misbehaves on the 20th, our team keeps retrying and escalating so your return still goes through.
If a query, ASMT-10 scrutiny notice or DRC-01 arrives on a return we filed, we stand behind our work and help you draft the reply. You are not left alone with a departmental letter and a thirty-day clock ticking against you.
A new GSTIN comes with obligations nobody explains at approval — the invoice series rules, displaying the registration certificate and GSTIN at your premises, and the first return cycle. We walk new registrants in Jamalia through each of these so month one starts correctly.
GSTR-1 by the 11th, GSTR-3B by the 20th, CMP-08 by the 18th after each quarter — we maintain a compliance calendar for every client and start chasing your data well before the due date, so late fees never enter the picture.
Every new client receives a review of their recent returns before we file anything — unclaimed credit, GSTR-1 versus GSTR-3B drift, and exposures worth correcting quietly. Businesses in Jamalia often discover in this first review exactly why their previous arrangement was costing them money.
GSTR-3B late fees run at Rs.50 per day and interest at 18 percent per annum on unpaid tax. Our internal cut-offs sit days ahead of statutory due dates precisely so that our clients never hand the department a rupee they did not owe.
You share PAN, Aadhaar, photographs, address proof and bank details over WhatsApp or email. We review each document against portal requirements and flag anything that could trigger an officer query.
We draft Form GST REG-01 with the correct business constitution, principal place of business, HSN or SAC codes and authorised signatory details, then share a summary for your confirmation.
The application is filed on the GST portal and we guide the authorised signatory through Aadhaar OTP authentication, which speeds up approval and usually avoids physical verification of premises.
We track the ARN daily. If the officer issues a notice in Form REG-03 seeking clarification, we draft and file the reply in Form REG-04 within the permitted time.
Once approved, we download your registration certificate in Form REG-06, help set up portal login credentials, and brief you on invoice format, return due dates and e-way bill obligations.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: 3-7 working days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
E-commerce platforms continuously validate seller GSTINs and filing status. A consistently compliant registration keeps your listings active and settlements flowing, with no sudden suspension of your online sales channel.
The hours you or your accountant spent wrestling with the portal, JSON errors and reconciliations every month return to sales, operations and customers, while trained hands manage the compliance in the background.
Advances received for services attract GST on receipt while advances for goods generally do not; applying this distinction correctly means you neither prepay tax unnecessarily nor omit a liability that surfaces later with interest.
Your billing staff are guided on invoice fields, rates and series discipline, so mistakes are prevented where they originate — at the counter — instead of being repaired later in the returns.
Amounts deducted by government buyers as GST TDS and by marketplaces as TCS are accepted on the portal each period, so money withheld against your GSTIN actually reaches your cash ledger instead of lying unclaimed.
When a business winds up, proper cancellation and a timely final return ensure the file is genuinely closed, so no demand or late-fee computation resurfaces against you long after the shutters came down.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Portal credentials and data | Logins handled by a small engaged team under strict confidentiality, with credentials stored securely and never passed onward. | Passwords circulating on chats with freelancers and part-timers, and no accountability for who has accessed your business data. |
| Goods in transit | E-way bills generated correctly and matched to invoices, so consignments pass roadside inspections without detention or penalty. | A defective or missing e-way bill can mean detention at a checkpoint, with penalties that dwarf the tax on the consignment. |
| Registration and amendments | Query-resistant applications prepared correctly the first time, with supporting documents matched to what proper officers actually verify. | Repeated clarification memos and resubmissions, with weeks lost because a rent agreement or premises photograph did not meet expectations. |
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
Paper Mills Road is a secondary arterial road in Jamalia, about 900 m north-west of the centre of Jamalia. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Tank Bund Road (about 150 m); Srivallur High Road (about 300 m); Sabapathy Street (about 550 m); Perambur High Road (about 600 m) — so a site visit on Paper Mills Road can usually be combined with other work in Jamalia on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Paper Mills Road falls under the Chennai North CGST Commissionerate, and the Jamalia pincode is 600012.
Road classification and position from OpenStreetMap; distances are straight-line and approximate. Jurisdiction must be confirmed on your own registration certificate.
GST law moves through notifications, circulars and court decisions. These are the ones changing how filings are prepared right now.
9th GST Council Meeting, New Delhi — 16 January 2017 (Signed Minutes, Agenda Item 3) · 2017-01-16
The dual-control deadlock that had stalled several earlier meetings was broken. The Council agreed that taxpayers would be divided between Central and State tax administrations for all administrative purposes: of taxpayers with turnover below Rs 1.5 crore, 90 per cent would go to the State administration and 10 per cent to the Centre, while taxpayers above Rs 1.5 crore would be split equally. Division was to be by computerised stratified random sampling at the State level, with both administrations retaining intelligence-based enforcement powers over the whole value chain. West Bengal recorded its dissent.
What to do about it: This is why a Chennai taxpayer is assigned either to the Tamil Nadu Commercial Taxes Department or to CGST Chennai, and why notices come from only one of them for routine matters.
Notification No. 11/2020-Central Tax · 2020-03-21
Where a company is undergoing corporate insolvency resolution under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code and is managed by an interim resolution professional or resolution professional, it is treated as a distinct person and must take a fresh GST registration in each State within thirty days of the professional's appointment. The entity files its first return covering the period from the insolvency commencement date, and can claim input tax credit on invoices received in that first return.
Practical effect: A Chennai company admitted into insolvency must obtain a fresh GSTIN under the resolution professional rather than continue on the old registration.
GSTN Advisory dated 1 November 2025 — simplified registration scheme under Rule 14A · 2025-11-01
GSTN operationalised the optional simplified registration scheme under Rule 14A of the CGST Rules from 1 November 2025. Applicants whose self-assessed output tax liability, across CGST, SGST, IGST and cess, does not exceed Rs 2.5 lakh per month can opt in while filing REG-01 and receive registration within three working days, subject to mandatory Aadhaar authentication of the primary authorised signatory and at least one promoter or partner.
Practical effect: Small Chennai businesses starting out can opt for Rule 14A registration to begin billing within days instead of waiting through full verification.
