The 11th and the 20th arrive every month whether you are ready or not. Our Chennai team keeps businesses in Keelkattalai permanently ahead of both, delivering GST Notice Reply from Rs.2,999 with reconciliation, senior review and WhatsApp acknowledgements as standard.
We serve businesses on and around Freedom Road — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Keelkattalai lies where Medavakkam Main Road meets the Pallavaram-Thoraipakkam 200 Feet Radial Road, its frontage carrying tile and sanitaryware showrooms, timber and hardware dealers, supermarkets and diagnostic labs that serve the apartment belt around Keelkattalai Lake. Dealers delivering materials to construction sites regularly trip on e-way bill requirements for consignments above Rs.50,000, and first-time registration for fast-growing retailers is routine work here. For businesses here, staying on the right side of GST is not optional — buyers check compliance, and the department's systems match every return. Our firm provides GST Notice Reply to clients across Keelkattalai and neighbouring Madipakkam and Kovilambakkam, combining Chennai jurisdiction familiarity with disciplined deadline tracking. Whether you run a shop, a service practice or a growing trading concern, we handle the portal work so you can stay focused on the business itself.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
If a query, ASMT-10 scrutiny notice or DRC-01 arrives on a return we filed, we stand behind our work and help you draft the reply. You are not left alone with a departmental letter and a thirty-day clock ticking against you.
Whenever the GST Council notifies a late-fee waiver or an amnesty window for pending returns or old demands, we check every client's history against it and act within the deadline. Relief that businesses in Keelkattalai would otherwise read about after it lapsed reaches our clients in time.
GSTR-3B late fees run at Rs.50 per day and interest at 18 percent per annum on unpaid tax. Our internal cut-offs sit days ahead of statutory due dates precisely so that our clients never hand the department a rupee they did not owe.
Every new client receives a review of their recent returns before we file anything — unclaimed credit, GSTR-1 versus GSTR-3B drift, and exposures worth correcting quietly. Businesses in Keelkattalai often discover in this first review exactly why their previous arrangement was costing them money.
Your work is executed by trained GST staff working under direct senior supervision, not passed to interns learning on your file. The person preparing your return understands reverse charge, blocked credits and place of supply, because getting these wrong costs you money.
Most GST notices trace back to mismatches between GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B. We reconcile these before filing, not after a notice arrives, so your returns are internally consistent and the most common triggers for ASMT-10 scrutiny simply never appear.
We read the notice line by line, identify the section invoked, the periods covered, the exact information sought and the deadline for response.
The figures alleged in the notice are reconciled against your filed returns, GSTR-2B and books, so the reply is grounded in verifiable numbers rather than assertions.
We draft a professional, point-wise reply addressing every allegation, attaching reconciliations, invoices and legal support, and share the draft with you for approval.
The approved reply is filed on the portal within the deadline. Where a small genuine liability exists, we advise payment through DRC-03 to limit interest and penalty.
We monitor the portal for the officer's response, attend to any further queries or hearing dates, and pursue the matter until a closure or order is received.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Draft reply in 3-5 working days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
You know your expected GST outflow days before the 20th, not on the night of filing. That advance visibility lets you plan payments, collections and bank balances instead of scrambling for funds at the deadline.
Sales returns, discounts and price revisions are adjusted through properly reported credit notes within the statutory window, so you never keep paying tax on turnover you have already reversed.
When a business winds up, proper cancellation and a timely final return ensure the file is genuinely closed, so no demand or late-fee computation resurfaces against you long after the shutters came down.
Your scheme choice — regular, composition or QRMP — is re-examined as turnover and margins change, so you are always paying under the structure that legitimately costs your business the least.
Advances received for services attract GST on receipt while advances for goods generally do not; applying this distinction correctly means you neither prepay tax unnecessarily nor omit a liability that surfaces later with interest.
Interest on delayed GST payment runs at 18 percent per annum, which is costlier than most working capital finance. Timely computation and payment through our calendar keeps that meter permanently at zero.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Goods in transit | E-way bills generated correctly and matched to invoices, so consignments pass roadside inspections without detention or penalty. | A defective or missing e-way bill can mean detention at a checkpoint, with penalties that dwarf the tax on the consignment. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
| Registration and amendments | Query-resistant applications prepared correctly the first time, with supporting documents matched to what proper officers actually verify. | Repeated clarification memos and resubmissions, with weeks lost because a rent agreement or premises photograph did not meet expectations. |
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
Freedom Road is a residential street in Keelkattalai, about 1.0 km north of the centre of Keelkattalai. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — 4th Cross Street (about 50 m); Kaivalayam Road (about 150 m); Krishna Nagar 1st Street (about 200 m); Bounty Acres Road (about 200 m) — so a site visit on Freedom Road can usually be combined with other work in Keelkattalai on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Freedom Road falls under the Chennai South CGST Commissionerate, and the Keelkattalai pincode is 600117.

Proviso to the residential dwelling entry in Notification No. 13/2017-Central Tax (Rate), inserted by Notification No. 15/2022-Central Tax (Rate) dated 30.12.2022 with effect from 1 January 2023 · 2022-12-30
The residential rent reverse charge as first drafted caught every registered person, including a proprietor who held a GST number for his trading business but was simply renting a house for his family. A proviso was inserted to say that the reverse charge does not apply where the dwelling is rented to a registered person who is a proprietor of a proprietorship concern and rents it in his personal capacity as his own residence, on his own account. The relief operates from 1 January 2023.
What to do about it: A Chennai proprietor renting his own family home need not pay GST on the rent, but should keep the lease deed in his personal name to prove the point.
Rotary Club of Mumbai Queens Necklace — AAAR Maharashtra (2019), on appeal from AAR Maharashtra, Advance Ruling No. GST-ARA-118/2018-19 · 2019
The club collected membership subscriptions and admission fees which were spent on meetings, administration and communication, with no facility or benefit supplied to members in return. The Maharashtra Appellate Authority for Advance Ruling held that the collections merely defray shared expenses, that there is no supply of goods or services to members, and that the amounts are therefore not consideration liable to tax.
What to do about it: Chennai associations should note that Section 7(1)(aa), inserted with retrospective effect from 1 July 2017, now treats club to member supplies as taxable, so this reasoning no longer holds.
Tvl. Ranjini Enterprises v. State Tax Officer — Madras High Court (Madurai Bench), W.P.(MD) No. 5172 of 2024, decided 5 March 2024 (B. Pugalendhi J.) · 2024-03-05
A best-of-judgment assessment of about Rs 5 lakh was raised for non-filing of the April 2023 return, the dealer contending that the real liability was about Rs 2 lakh, which was paid once the assessment came to its notice. The Madras High Court permitted the dealer to file an application for condonation of the delay in filing the return and directed the State Tax Officer to consider that application sympathetically in the light of the Court's earlier precedent. The writ petition was disposed of on those terms without any order as to costs.
What it means for you: Where late returns have triggered adverse consequences, a formal condonation application supported by reasons is the correct first step in Tamil Nadu.

Upload the PDF to our free GST Notice Analyser. It identifies which of 34 notice types you have, pulls out the DIN, GSTIN and tax period, reads the reply date printed on the notice and tells you plainly whether that date has already passed — along with the documents and reconciliations you will need. No payment, no account. If the notice does not state a date we can read, it says so rather than guessing one for you.
