New GST Registration in Korukkupet does not have to mean portal errors, guesswork and due-date tension. For a fixed fee starting Rs.1,499, an accountable Chennai practice prepares, reconciles, reviews and files — and remains answerable long after the acknowledgement arrives.
We serve businesses on and around Jeevarathinam Road — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Korukkupet is defined by the oil marketing company terminals off Thiruvottiyur High Road and Ennore High Road, the Korukkupet goods shed and the Cochrane Basin Road level crossing. Tanker fleet owners, terminal contractors, clearing agents and the Kalmandapam Road trading rows work around petroleum products staying outside GST, blocked input credit on such supplies, and reverse charge on inward goods transport. We have supported businesses of exactly this profile with New GST Registration across Korukkupet for years, along with clients from Old Washermanpet and Tondiarpet. The engagement is simple: one point of contact, a clear fee, documents over WhatsApp or in person at our Chennai office, and senior review before anything is submitted on the portal. What you get in return is clean filings, archived records and far fewer reasons for the department to write to you.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
GST is confusing enough without a language barrier. Our team explains notices, tax positions and filing requirements in plain Tamil or English, whichever you and your staff in Korukkupet are comfortable with, and keeps written communication simple and jargon-free.
We match your purchase register against GSTR-2B every period, follow up on invoices your suppliers have not uploaded, and ensure every rupee of eligible input tax credit is claimed. Clients routinely recover credit they were silently losing under self-filing.
No filing leaves our desk on a junior's judgement alone. A senior GST practitioner reviews your figures, ITC claims and tax computation before submission, so errors are caught at our table and not by the department months later through a notice.
If a query, ASMT-10 scrutiny notice or DRC-01 arrives on a return we filed, we stand behind our work and help you draft the reply. You are not left alone with a departmental letter and a thirty-day clock ticking against you.
GSTR-3B late fees run at Rs.50 per day and interest at 18 percent per annum on unpaid tax. Our internal cut-offs sit days ahead of statutory due dates precisely so that our clients never hand the department a rupee they did not owe.
OTP failures, DSC errors, stuck submissions on due-date evenings — we deal with the GST portal daily and know the workarounds. When the site misbehaves on the 20th, our team keeps retrying and escalating so your return still goes through.
You share PAN, Aadhaar, photographs, address proof and bank details over WhatsApp or email. We review each document against portal requirements and flag anything that could trigger an officer query.
We draft Form GST REG-01 with the correct business constitution, principal place of business, HSN or SAC codes and authorised signatory details, then share a summary for your confirmation.
The application is filed on the GST portal and we guide the authorised signatory through Aadhaar OTP authentication, which speeds up approval and usually avoids physical verification of premises.
We track the ARN daily. If the officer issues a notice in Form REG-03 seeking clarification, we draft and file the reply in Form REG-04 within the permitted time.
Once approved, we download your registration certificate in Form REG-06, help set up portal login credentials, and brief you on invoice format, return due dates and e-way bill obligations.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: 3-7 working days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Because turnover in your GST returns is kept aligned with your accounts through the year, income tax filing and statutory audit proceed without the GST-versus-books mismatch queries that now surface routinely through data matching.
The hours you or your accountant spent wrestling with the portal, JSON errors and reconciliations every month return to sales, operations and customers, while trained hands manage the compliance in the background.
Your billing staff are guided on invoice fields, rates and series discipline, so mistakes are prevented where they originate — at the counter — instead of being repaired later in the returns.
Complete RFD-01 applications with proper statements and annexures move through the system faster and attract fewer deficiency memos, which means export and inverted-duty refunds reach your bank account sooner.
Filed returns, challans, reconciliations and working papers are archived in order from day one. If an audit or departmental verification comes, your file is ready the same week, not assembled in a panic.
Where a genuine error is found in a past period, voluntary payment through DRC-03 before any notice issues closes the matter at minimal cost, instead of letting it ripen into a demand with penalty.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Goods in transit | E-way bills generated correctly and matched to invoices, so consignments pass roadside inspections without detention or penalty. | A defective or missing e-way bill can mean detention at a checkpoint, with penalties that dwarf the tax on the consignment. |
| Registration and amendments | Query-resistant applications prepared correctly the first time, with supporting documents matched to what proper officers actually verify. | Repeated clarification memos and resubmissions, with weeks lost because a rent agreement or premises photograph did not meet expectations. |
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
| Portal credentials and data | Logins handled by a small engaged team under strict confidentiality, with credentials stored securely and never passed onward. | Passwords circulating on chats with freelancers and part-timers, and no accountability for who has accessed your business data. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
Jeevarathinam Road is a secondary arterial road in Korukkupet, about 1.6 km east of the centre of Korukkupet. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Kumalamman Koil Street (about 300 m); Varadharaja Perumal Koil Street (about 300 m); Pilliyar Koil Street (about 300 m); Amaranjipuram Road (about 400 m) — so a site visit on Jeevarathinam Road can usually be combined with other work in Korukkupet on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Jeevarathinam Road falls under the Chennai North CGST Commissionerate, and the Korukkupet pincode is 600021.
Road classification and position from OpenStreetMap; distances are straight-line and approximate. Jurisdiction must be confirmed on your own registration certificate.
A working knowledge of recent instruments and judgments is what separates a defensible filing from a risky one.
Commissioner of Central Excise, Bolpur v. Ratan Melting and Wire Industries — Supreme Court, Constitution Bench, (2008) 13 SCC 1, judgment dated 14-10-2008 · 2008-10-14
A five-judge Bench held that circulars issued by the Board cannot prevail over the statute, and are not binding on courts. Where the Supreme Court or a High Court has declared the law on an issue, that declaration prevails and any contrary circular ceases to have effect. Circulars remain an aid to administration and can bind officers, but they cannot enlarge or restrict what the legislature has enacted.
How we apply it: Chennai businesses should treat CBIC circulars as useful administrative guidance, but should not rely on one that conflicts with the plain words of the GST Act.
Notification No. 10/2019-Central Tax dated 07.03.2019 · 2019-03-07
With effect from 1 April 2019 this notification exempts from obtaining registration any person engaged exclusively in the supply of goods whose aggregate turnover in the financial year does not exceed Rs 40 lakh. The exemption does not apply to persons required to register compulsorily under section 24, persons making supplies of ice cream and other edible ice, pan masala and tobacco products, persons in specified special category States, and persons who choose to remain voluntarily registered.
How we apply it: A Chennai trader dealing exclusively in goods can stay unregistered up to Rs 40 lakh, but a business supplying any services at all remains on the Rs 20 lakh threshold.
GSTN Advisory, 2023 — geocoding of the principal place of business enabled for all States and Union Territories · 2023
GSTN rolled out a geocoding facility that converts the address of the principal place of business into map coordinates, so the location on the registration certificate can be verified against the ground position. After a pilot in a few states, the functionality was extended to normal, composition, casual, SEZ and input service distributor taxpayers in every State and Union Territory during 2023, and geocoding of additional places of business followed. Geocoding does not change the address recorded in the registration.
How we apply it: Complete geocoding for your Chennai premises and any godown, as an unverified address can delay amendments, refunds and physical verification clearance.
