Searching for dependable GST Refund RFD-01 near Kotturpuram? Our Chennai GST practice completes it from Rs.4,999 with a written checklist, senior-reviewed preparation and full acknowledgement copies, so you always know exactly where your work stands.
We serve businesses on and around Ambadi Road — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Kotturpuram, on the south bank of the Adyar around the Anna Centenary Library and the Housing Board blocks, is a professionals' quarter: independent consultants, architects, tutors and clinics work along Gandhi Mandapam Road and the numbered Main Roads. Many consultants billing from home offices cross the Rs.20 lakh services threshold quietly, and those serving overseas clients need a live LUT before invoicing exports without IGST. We have supported businesses of exactly this profile with GST Refund RFD-01 across Kotturpuram for years, along with clients from Adyar and Nandanam. The engagement is simple: one point of contact, a clear fee, documents over WhatsApp or in person at our Chennai office, and senior review before anything is submitted on the portal. What you get in return is clean filings, archived records and far fewer reasons for the department to write to you.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
You are told the full fee before we begin, in writing. No surprise additions for uploads, revisions or acknowledgements. Government fees and taxes, where applicable, are shown separately, so businesses in Kotturpuram always know exactly what the engagement costs them.
If your GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B start drifting apart, if a large supplier stops filing, or if your turnover approaches the e-invoice threshold, we flag it to you immediately. Early warnings from our side are cheaper than departmental letters later.
You deal with one accountable person who knows your business, your turnover pattern and your filing history. No repeating your story to a new voice every month, and no file falling between two desks when a deadline is approaching.
We match your purchase register against GSTR-2B every period, follow up on invoices your suppliers have not uploaded, and ensure every rupee of eligible input tax credit is claimed. Clients routinely recover credit they were silently losing under self-filing.
No filing leaves our desk on a junior's judgement alone. A senior GST practitioner reviews your figures, ITC claims and tax computation before submission, so errors are caught at our table and not by the department months later through a notice.
Composition dealers have their own rulebook — CMP-08 every quarter, GSTR-4 annually by 30 June, bills of supply instead of tax invoices, and a turnover ceiling that must be watched. We handle each of these correctly so the scheme's simplicity never turns into a violation.
We identify the correct refund category, confirm the two-year limitation from the relevant date, and compute the admissible amount using the formula prescribed under the rules.
Invoices, shipping bills, FIRCs, the LUT and ledger extracts are compiled into the prescribed statements, and gaps that commonly cause deficiency memos are fixed upfront.
The refund application is filed on the portal with all annexures and declarations, and the acknowledgement in RFD-02 is tracked within the statutory fifteen days.
We respond to any deficiency memo in RFD-03 or show cause notice in RFD-08, appear through written submissions, and pursue provisional refund where the category permits.
We track the sanction order in RFD-06 and payment advice in RFD-05, confirm the credit in your validated bank account, and archive the complete claim file.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Application filed in 3-5 working days; sanction typically within 60 days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
We spot suppliers who stop uploading invoices or filing returns and alert you before their default becomes your blocked credit, letting you recover amounts or switch vendors while the exposure is still small.
With returns filed ahead of the statutory due dates every period, the Rs.50-per-day GSTR-3B late fee simply stops appearing in your life, and the money stays in your business where it belongs.
Complete RFD-01 applications with proper statements and annexures move through the system faster and attract fewer deficiency memos, which means export and inverted-duty refunds reach your bank account sooner.
Sales returns, discounts and price revisions are adjusted through properly reported credit notes within the statutory window, so you never keep paying tax on turnover you have already reversed.
You know your expected GST outflow days before the 20th, not on the night of filing. That advance visibility lets you plan payments, collections and bank balances instead of scrambling for funds at the deadline.
Whether moving between composition and regular scheme, opting into QRMP, or crossing the e-invoice threshold at Rs.5 crore, transitions are planned in advance rather than discovered after a compliance breach.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Risk of notices | GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciled before filing, removing the mismatches that trigger most scrutiny notices. | Inconsistent figures across returns quietly build a mismatch history that surfaces later as ASMT-10 scrutiny or a demand notice. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
Ambadi Road is a residential street in Kotturpuram, about 200 m north of the centre of Kotturpuram. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Arunachalam Road (about 100 m); Vellaiyan Road (about 100 m); Dhandayudhapandi 2nd Street (about 150 m); Link Street (about 150 m) — so a site visit on Ambadi Road can usually be combined with other work in Kotturpuram on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Ambadi Road falls under the Chennai South CGST Commissionerate, and the Kotturpuram pincode is 600085.

Circular No. 178/10/2022-GST · 2022-08-03
This is the leading circular on the agreeing to tolerate an act entry. The Board held that liquidated damages paid for breach of contract are a flow of money compensating for injury, not consideration for any service, so no GST applies. The same reasoning covers notice pay recovered from employees, cheque dishonour charges, fines and penalties for violation of a contract or a law, and forfeiture of salary or bond amounts, unless there is a genuine independent agreement to tolerate an act. A late payment surcharge or fee is treated differently, as it is naturally bundled with the principal supply and forms part of its value.
How we apply it: Chennai employers and contractors should resist departmental demands on notice pay recovery and liquidated damages by citing this circular in the reply itself.
Entry 66, Notification No. 12/2017-Central Tax (Rate) dated 28.06.2017 · 2017-06-28
Entry 66 exempts services supplied by an educational institution to its students, faculty and staff, and services relating to admission to or conduct of examinations. It also exempts transportation of students, catering including any government-sponsored mid-day meal scheme, security, cleaning and housekeeping supplied to an institution, but only where that institution provides education up to higher secondary level. An educational institution is one whose output leads to a qualification recognised by law, so private coaching classes fall outside the exemption.
What to do about it: A Chennai coaching centre or competitive-exam institute is fully taxable, while a recognised school or college is exempt, and the two must never be treated alike.
M/s. Gillette Diversified Operations (P) Ltd v. Joint Commissioner of GST & Central Excise (Appeals-II) — Madras High Court, W.P. Nos. 6524, 6527, 6531, 6537 and 6541 of 2022, decided 5 February 2025 (C. Saravanan J.) · 2025-02-05
Refund claims for unutilised credit on zero-rated exports of July to September 2017 were filed on 21 September, 9 October and 10 October 2018, returned through deficiency memos, and resubmitted later. The appellate authority treated the resubmissions as fresh applications and rejected them as time-barred. The Court allowed three of the five petitions and quashed those orders, holding that the original applications were within two years of the exports and that a resubmission after curing deficiencies cannot start a new limitation period, the 2021 proviso to Rule 90(3) not applying retrospectively.
How we apply it: Chennai exporters whose refund was returned by a deficiency memo should preserve the original ARN and acknowledgement — limitation is counted from that first filing, not the re-filed one.
